Sexy Kate Tsui 徐子珊 Serenade Crowd At The SKECHERS Sundown Festival 2014

Hi Huneybees,

Ok, I'm the TVB fanatic here. That's why a special blog post for one of my favourite Hong Kong artiste - Kate Tsui 徐子珊. Always love her makeup and those electrifying eyes of hers never fails to melt our hearts...

For Skechers Sundown Festival 2014, Kate was clad in a sexy asymmetrical tube dress, generously treating us to those long slender legs of hers. She was glowing and bling-ing with her swarovski embellished fedora hat, necklace and even stilettos.

We LOVE you too!
This sexy Miss Hong Kong spoke in fluent English, Mandarin and Cantonese and not on minute short of her smiles and jokes, while showing off her recent practices on singing, though not fantastic, but her voice is so nice! She even sang English/Mandarin version of the song that recently been on my playlist - 爱很简单. Guess she's been watching "Don't Go Breaking My Heart 2 单身男女2" ?
Hehehehe....

For The Fans - CROSS GENE At SKECHERS Sundown Festival 2014

Hi Huneybees,

Here's a dedicated blog post for the fans of CROSS GENE 크로스진.  (*Yes, I know you girls LOVE them) The boys were recently in Singapore for Skechers Sundown Festival 2014, that happened at the F1 Pit, next to the Singapore Flyer. Against the beautiful Marina Bay landscape, the boys sang and dance, bringing energy to the stage and of course, the screaming fans were a proof of that.

CROSS GENE is a six-member multinational boy band based in South Korea, consisting of South Korean Sangmin 김상민, Yongseok 김용석, Shin 신원호 and Seyoung 이세영, Chinese Casper 中泽祥 and Japanese Takuya 寺田拓哉.

Shin and Takuya had the most fans that night and unfortunate me, I had a screaming one right behind me, my ears are still ringing from that. But nothing will kill my mood, watching and hearing these boys perform. They really liven up the crowd!

For opening, they performed "I'm Not A Boy, Not Yet A Man" as well as "Shooting Star", "Crazy", "Dirty Pop" and "On The Floor". Here's a couple of videos from their performance and do check out the gallery for more of their photos. Hope you bees like it, go ahead and share them, but don't forget to give me credits. :P

See Art Pieces Come Alive At The ALIVE MUSEUM

Hi Huneybees,

I've finally made my way to the Alive Museum after much anticipation. I missed it when I was in Seoul the other time and I was so glad that this 3D Korean imported interactive museum is now available in Singapore!

Alive Museum has taken over the retail space on the third floor between Towers 3 and 4 at Suntec City and it is pretty similar to the Korean version. Being the largest interactive museum in Singapore with 929 sq m (10,000 sq ft) and more than 80 artworks, your camera would definitely not stop clicking. Based on Trompe-l’oeil (trickery in French) these touch-all-you-want art pieces encourages visitors to pose and take pictures with them. It is best to go in a group of 4, so you can help each other with the pictures!

The Angel Wings photo is like a must-do, but something special would be the Singapore only edition where you can only find through the maze. You can find Singapore's iconic Merlion, Marina Bay Sands, Gardens by the Bay, Singapore Flyer, all gathered here.

There are quite a bit of poses, there are times we had to lie on floors and there's a room full of mirrors, ladies might want to come in jeans, pants of wear a pair of safety shorts. Once you discover a photo spot, be sure to check out the signages on the wall next to it, to see what is the best way to pose, and don't forget to stand at the Photo Points to get the best angle!

Thank you Alive Museum for the great day out with my friends! You guys have got to come on down to experience it!

Do come early to avoid the crowd, not only is the queuing long, you might also have difficulty getting people to steer clear of your photos...

I'll leave you here with more photos from Alive Museum and do check out this Burger King promotion that will end on 30 September 2014. Do make good use of it!
Alive Museum
3 Temasek Boulevard #03-372, Suntec City Mall (between Towers 3 & 4), Singapore 038983
Ticket price: Adults $25, Child (aged 3-12) $20, Family Package $60 (2 adults, 1 child, $10 for each additional child)
Opening hours: 10am – 10pm daily (last admission 9pm)

I Flew the SilkAir Boeing 737-800 Around Seattle!

Hi Huneybees,

"This is your Captain, Huney speaking. Welcome on board SilkAir's Boeing 737-800 to Seattle. It's 2pm on Friday 7th February 2014 and it's a pleasure to have you on my first flight ~"

Yipee! I got to fly a plane around Seattle all thanks to SilkAir and my wonderful guidance pilot. As part of its 25th Anniversary, SilkAir will be marking a new chapter in its history with a 25-hour flight with its first Boeing 737-800 jet. The new narrow-body aircraft will depart from Seattle on Feb 9, and arrive in Singapore at 11.45am on Feb 12 via Honolulu, Majuro and Guam.

To commemorate that,  150 SilkAir fans took turns through the night to virtually deliver a SilkAir Boeing 737-800 aircraft  from February 7 to 8.  Over the course of 25 hours, participants were given the unique opportunity to virtually fly the Boeing 737-800 simulator from the Renton factory in Seattle to Singapore, right from the Captain’s seat. Emulating the aircraft’s actual delivery flight path, the simulation included stop-overs at three destinations including Honolulu, Majuro and Guam, with participants working in pairs to take on the piloting of an assigned portion of the route.

I was one of the fans who got the chance to hop on a stimulation ride, doing a route around the Seattle station with The Flight Experience Stimulator located at Singapore Flyer. It is a fixed base device based on the Boeing 737-800, allowing participants the most realistic experience of flying SilkAir’s first Boeing aircraft. Used for actual pilot training, the model includes a fully enclosed, scale cockpit accurately representing the avionics, systems and controls of the plane as well as unique High Definition wrap-around Visual System that includes highly detailed scenery of the routes.

It was amazing to finally step into the cockpit after so much travelling on planes, and stepping into a pilot's shoes was not an easy feat. Other than holding onto the steering wheel, there were times I had to keep my eyes peeled on the monitors, whilst checking out the situation outside the plane. It was as though each eye had to move in different directions!

Landing Gear down...
My experience was just a little part of the whole event and to mark the finale, the event culminated with Mr. Leslie Thng, Chief Executive SilkAir and Dr. Dinesh Keskar, Vice President, Asia Pacific & India Sales for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, taking the helm during the final hour. Witnessed by a crowd of close to 200, the Boeing 737-800 descended against the familiar backdrop of the Changi Airport control tower and was smoothly landed on the runways of Changi Airport at 11am.

Mr. Leslie Thng, Chief Executive, SilkAir and Dr. Dinesh Keskar, VP, Asia Pacific & India Sales for Boeing Commercial Airplanes took over the captain
's duties during the final leg of the simulation event
If you want to give the SilkAir’s first Boeing 737-800 aircraft a tour, you will be happy to know that it is making its appearance in Singapore on 14 February at the Singapore Airshow 2014. As part of its 25th anniversary celebrations, it will feature a specially designed livery to commemorate the occasion. SilkAir will also be rewarding its customers with special promotional deals.

Later this month, 250,000 tickets will be made available at special rates for customers in Singapore and across the region. More details will be made available soon and stay posted on silkair.com and http://www.facebook.com/SilkAir

And if you would like to be a pilot for the day, you can hop on over to The Flight Experience located within the Singapore Flyer. More details can be found http://flightexperience.com.sg/
