I'm a scaredy cat and wouldn't dare watch horror flicks but if you have been following the Insidious series, this third chapter will be bringing you back to the beginning before the unforgotten haunting of the Lambert family. When paranormal investigators Tucker and Specs team up with the psychic Elise to help a teenage girl contact her late mother, Elise is forced to venture back into The Further where she finds a ruthless supernatural entity craving the souls of the living. It's the darkest chapter yet in this spine-tingling portrayal of evil unleashed.

Guess Who's Hosting The 2017 MTV Video Music Awards ?

Hi Huneybees,

The most anticipated music awards show - "MTV Video Music Awards" will be making its way back this August. Every year I'm peeled to the TV watching if my favourite singer/s or bands get awarded, who is best dressed, the best performance and start the whole tweeting process throguhout the day.

This year, it will not be different and I'm even more excited coz one of my favourite female superstar - Katy Perry will be hosting the show live from "Fabulous" Forum in Inglewood, California! I can't wait to see her performance, the clothes changes she will have through the night and also keep and eye out for her makeup looks and try to replicate it. =)

YES!!!! I'm a huge fan of this colourful, always changing and evolving singer!

In advance of the world tour for her most recent, chart-topping album, Witness, Perry will light up the stage as the first performer announced for this year’s show.  She has already secured a spot as one of the top nominees for the 2017 VMAs with nods in five categories, including: Best Pop, Best Direction and Best Visual Effects for “Chained to the Rhythm,” Best Art Direction for “Bon Appetit,” and Best Collaboration for Calvin Harris’ “Feels” featuring Pharrell Williams, Perry and Big Sean. MTV has already announced the nominations for the 2017 “MTV Video Music Awards” exclusively on Instagram Live, with Kendrick Lamar scoring the most of the year with eight nominations for his video “HUMBLE”. Katy Perry and The Weeknd are tied for five nominations each.  Building on the critical acclaim of the non-gendered categories at the 2017 “MTV Movie & TV Awards,” the network also announced the former “Best Female Video” and “Best Male Video” categories have been combined for “Artist of the Year.”  Additionally, “Best Fight Against the System” has been added to celebrate videos that inspire viewers to stand up and fight injustice.

If you want your favourites to win, you can start voting for them by visiting www.vma.mtv.com. Have They Really Run Out Of Ideas For Music Video?

Hi Huneybees,

What's your latest favourite song on your playlist? Sometimes, I'm fascinated more by the music video rather than the music. It's always fun to see what's the latest image of a certain artiste is, how the female singers' makeup was done and try to replicate the same look.

It's my own creative process in creating new and fresh looks, but it seems like the music videos' production crew, might have been running out of ideas. There seems to be a trend of having special celebrity friends coming in, to act in the music videos and with that, create a hype. It feels as though, they know the song is not that great and hopefully with this hype, their album can be shot right up to the top ten charts.

Don't believe? Look at these few music videos below...

At first, it does seems like a fresh and playful idea to have Tom Hanks (someone you wouldn't relate to music) lip syncing to a high beat "I Really Like You" by Carly Rae Jepsen. Together with the surprise appearance by Justin Bieber towards the end of the video, it's all youthful and wonderful song to be humming to this summer.

Taylor Swift as Catastrophe, Selena Gomez as Arsyn, Karlie Kloss as Knockout, Kendrick Lamar as Welvin Da Great, Martha Hunt as HomeSlice, Jessica Alba as Domino, Serayah as Dilemma, Lena Dunham as Lucky Fiori, Hailee Steinfeld as The Trinity, Ellie Goulding as Destructa X, GiGi Hadid as Slay-Z, Hayley Williams as The Crimson Curse, Zendaya as Cut-Throat, Lily Aldridge as Frostbyte, Ellen Pompeo as Luna, Mariska Hargitay as Justice, Cara Delevingne as Mother Chucker, Cindy Crawford as Headmistress

But things seem to have gone mad when Taylor Swift revealed her "Bad Blood" music video. You get tons of special effects, as though a quick flash summarizing movies like Sucker Punch, Sin City and Hunger Games. Together with the endless the list of celebrities appearing, I was so distracted to catch all them, totally not focusing on the music at all~

Beyoncé, Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry,  Rita Ora, Chris Rock,  Alexander Wang,  music video's producer - Diplo and even Madonna's sons David and Rocco, made special appearances in the video.

Then came Madonna's "B**** I'm Madonna" music video, She have garnered her team of A-listers as well and it started to seem like it's a secret challenge amongst the singers to #ShowOffYourConnections . Her video was as though running through the mind of a forever-high person, with "hallucinations" of her favourite artiste. It was all over the place and looking at the comments posted, it was a failure...

Though these videos seem to be star studded and looked fun to see these celebrities crossing platforms, but I really don't wish to see another. Maybe they should take a backseat and do a simple video like Maroon 5's "This Summer's Gonna Hurt Like A Motherf****r". Shot it on your smartphone, flash your amazing butt and swear like it's the end-of-the-world (Yes, saying this sarcastically).

What do you guys think?
Music to your ears vs visual therapy, which do you prefer?

[What's New] Time To Cut Off All Your Troubled Tresses To Cut In Style For 2015 ~~~

Hi Huneybees,

When coming to a brand new year, I like to give myself a different look, freshen myself up and "cut" away all the bad stuffs, leaving them behind as I step into a New Year! Just in time for the Year of the Goat!

So, looking at the 2015 hair and beauty trends - clean, minimalist makeup to go with short hair. After all the rainbow hair trend in 2014, it is time to tidy up those tresses and go for healthy, natural looking hair.

Check out the Hollywood ladies - Jennifer Lawrence, Katherine McPhee, Beyonce, Selena Gomez, Anne Hathaway & Nicole Richie! They are already rocking that trend on the red carpet and so drawing inspiration from that, Joanne cut off my hair, giving me a bob hair for the first time in my life!

It's the first time I cut my hair so short but I'm loving the carefree feeling of simply just combing my hair and I'm ready to step out of the house *flip*~ Especially, dying my hair chestnut brown, I've gotten new found confidence and I find myself smiling even more! :)

I can straighten my hair to show off the asymmetrical cut more, or simply apply some mousse and let my natural curls flow, loving the versatility! What do you think of my new hairstyle?

Selena Gomez Launches First Collection For adidas NEO Label

Hi Huneybees,

Global style icon Selena Gomez launched her first ever fashion collection for adidas NEO Label in Berlin. Selena, who is already a hugely successful recording artist and actress can now add NEO guest designer to her evergrowing list of talents. Her ‘rock chic’-style collection was revealed at a launch event in the flagship adidas NEO store on Tauentzienstraße, Berlin earlier this month.

Selena has been working closely with the adidas NEO Label team on her 53-piece collection for teenage girls. The range is a twist on classic rock style with an effortless edge and the designs have been inspired by Selena’s love of music and feature iconic styling from the world of rock and roll. Selena’s favourite pieces include the black, studded super wedge shoes with hidden heel and the tough but feminine denim vest with an
embellished collar- perfect for a lunch date with friends.

“I love playing around with fashion and like clothes that are fun, easy to wear and comfortable. My collection has a ‘rock chic’ theme and it’s confident, rebellious and fun. It’s also a little bit darker and I think it encourages girls to put their own stamp on their individuality and show confidence in what they are wearing.” --- Selena Gomez

Models at the launch showed off Selena’s favourite pieces from the collection to the world’s media, dressed in a variety of looks that are comfortable yet stylish, with a rock and roll edgy side. [Movie Review] Hotel Transylvania

Hi Huneybees,

I know this review came abit too late, blame it on my health. I know the movie is still on screens, so go catch it before it ends!

Synopsis
Dracula (Adam Sandler) has created a safe haven for all kinds of monsters in his hotel, Hotel Transylvania. He has one rule, no humans are allowed. The hotel is also the venue for the upcoming 118th birthday of his daughter Mavis (Selena Gomez). Dracula is somewhat a very protective dad and he does everything that he can think of to shelter his daughter from human contact. However, Jonathan (Andy Samberg) accidentally stumbles into the hotel but was luckily intercepted at the entrance by Dracula himself. Dracula then disguises him as a monster and coerces him to keep the secret. Mavis fall in-love with Jonathan but soon everyone finds out that he’s human. Dracula must now choose which is more important, the sanctuary that his hotel provides or the happiness of his daughter.

It's a fresh new take on Dracula and the monsters that we grew up fearing. These monsters are adorable and kinda reminds me of Monster Inc, where the monsters feared human instead of the other way around (which we all know).

It's very fun to see the humane side of monsters, that they all wana take a break, hide away from human and they do have family members that they all love dearly, especially the father-daughter love hate relationship between Dracula and Mavis. Kinda reminds us of our protective dads too!

Other than the few seconds of raging Dracula, I would say kids would totally dig the movie and laughter never stops throughout the movie. Gone are the days of scary monsters!

I give the movie a 4 out of 5 popcorns.
