Pan Pacific Singapore x Nespresso 40th Anniversary: Coffee-Inspired Dining & Stay Experiences

| |

Hi Huneybees,

Earlier this year, I shared about Pan Pacific Singapore's 40th anniversary celebrations, and the hotel has just unveiled another exciting collaboration that's perfect for coffee lovers.

To commemorate four decades of hospitality excellence, Pan Pacific Singapore has partnered with Nespresso for a limited-time collection of dining, cocktail, wellness, and stay experiences running from 6 July to 22 November 2026. Rather than simply adding coffee as another ingredient, each experience explores how different flavours, aromas and textures can be transformed into something unexpectedly elegant.

Whether you're planning a buffet feast, a romantic dinner, cocktails with friends or even a weekend staycation, there's something designed around this anniversary collaboration.

Edge Serves Up a Coffee Dessert Worth Saving Room For

If you've dined at Edge before, you'll know the dessert station is already one of the highlights. For this anniversary collaboration, Executive Pastry Chef Edina Si has introduced an exclusive Salted Coffee Caramel Tart.

Made using Nespresso Professional's Congo Organic blend, the tart combines buttery caramel with subtle roasted coffee notes, balanced by a touch of sea salt. The coffee's naturally toasted cereal and berry flavours add another layer of complexity, creating a dessert that's rich without feeling overly sweet.

The tart is available during both lunch and dinner buffet service, making it an easy excuse to leave a little extra room after the seafood and international spread.

For reservations, please call +65 6826 8240 or email dining.ppsin@panpacific.com.

Hai Tien Lo Gives Coffee a Cantonese Twist

One dish that's gripping my attention has got to be the Coffee-glazed Pork Rib at Hai Tien Lo, priced at S$40 nett.

Instead of overpowering the meat, the Nespresso Congo Organic blend is transformed into a glossy glaze that adds roasted depth and aroma. The sweetness of apple jam, tomato sauce and fragrant Shaoxing wine rounds everything out beautifully, creating a balanced sweet-and-savoury profile that sounds both comforting and refined. I bet this dish will be a hot favourite on the table, for families of all ages.

For reservations, please call +65 6826 8240 or email dining.ppsin@panpacific.com.

PLUME's Coffee Omakase Is Probably the Most Creative Experience

If you're looking for something a little different, PLUME has created what is probably the most immersive offering of the collaboration - a S$40++ Coffee Omakase Experience.

Rather than serving a single coffee cocktail, the experience unfolds across several courses:

  • Peaberry Theory welcomes guests with a cocktail combining coffee, dark rum, cherry brandy and bitters.
  • A playful coffee-infused jello shot pairs roasted coffee notes with limoncello gin and grapefruit zest.
  • A clarified whisky and coffee tasting is elevated further with burning coffee incense infused with cinnamon and nutmeg, creating an aromatic experience that engages both taste and smell.
  • The journey finishes with a house-made mocha biscotti.

I really like this idea as it showcases just how versatile a single coffee blend can be interpreted into so many different varieties by skilled bartenders.

For reservations, please call +65 9459 7165 or email plume.ppsin@panpacific.com.

A Staycation Designed for Coffee Lovers

The collaboration extends beyond dining with an exclusive stay package available for Nespresso Club Members, where guests can enjoy:

  • 10% off the Best Available Rate on selected room categories
  • Daily breakfast for two at Edge
  • Nespresso-infused pralines as a welcome gift
  • Access to selected room upgrades depending on the package booked

The first 40 bookings will also receive an exclusive Nespresso × Caran d'Ache pencil set, a collaboration between the two Swiss brands that gives used coffee grounds a second life. The pencil leads are partially made using recycled coffee grounds, making it a thoughtful keepsake that reflects Nespresso's sustainability efforts.

As someone who enjoys collecting limited-edition collaborations, this is honestly one of those little bonuses that makes the package even more memorable!

Relax with a Special Anniversary Spa Promotion

For anyone planning a slower weekend escape, St. Gregory Spa is also joining the celebrations.

Guests can enjoy a 40-minute express massage for S$100 nett, offering a quick reset after a busy work week or a long day exploring the city. It's a nice addition that complements the staycation experience beyond just food and accommodation.

Earn More with Pan Pacific DISCOVERY

If you visit Pan Pacific Singapore regularly, it may be worth signing up for the Pan Pacific DISCOVERY loyalty programme.

Members can enjoy benefits including:

  • Up to 7% back in DISCOVERY Dollars (D$)
  • Room upgrades (subject to availability)
  • Late check-out

These perks apply across stays, dining and spa experiences, making the programme particularly useful if you're already planning multiple visits throughout the year.

I like that this collaboration goes beyond simply creating another coffee-themed menu. Instead, Pan Pacific Singapore has woven coffee into multiple experiences across the hotel - from desserts and Cantonese cuisine to cocktails, wellness and even exclusive collectibles.

It's been fun seeing how each collaboration brings a different perspective while staying true to the 40th anniversary celebration theme. Whether you're a serious coffee enthusiast or simply looking for a unique dining experience in Marina Bay, this limited-time partnership with Nespresso is certainly worth checking out before it ends on 22 November 2026.

Inside Pan Pacific Singapore’s 40th Anniversary Celebrations — Dining, Staycations & Memories

| |
0 comments
Hi Huneybees,

There are some places in Singapore that quietly become part of our memories without us even realising it and Pan Pacific Singapore is definitely one of them...

Whether it was admiring its iconic atrium, celebrating special occasions over endless buffet spreads at Edge, or simply passing by Marina Bay and spotting its unmistakable silhouette against the skyline; Pan Pacific Singapore has long felt like one of those landmarks woven into the story of Singapore itself. And this year, the hotel celebrates a truly incredible milestone - 40 years of hospitality excellence!

Opened in 1986 as one of Singapore’s pioneering luxury hotels, Pan Pacific Singapore has spent the last four decades evolving alongside the city. Today, the hotel stands proudly in the heart of Marina Bay with 790 guestrooms and suites, award-winning dining concepts, wellness facilities, and expansive event spaces that have hosted countless celebrations, weddings, conferences, and milestones through the years.

But what makes this anniversary feel especially meaningful is how much of Singapore’s own journey seems reflected within its walls.

A Hotel That Grew Together With Singapore

Over the years, Pan Pacific Singapore has continuously reinvented itself while still holding onto the elegance and warmth many guests remember fondly.

Some of the hotel’s biggest transformations include the launch of the Ocean Ballroom in 2000, which strengthened its place as one of Singapore’s leading MICE destinations, followed by a major room refurbishment in 2012. That same year also saw the opening of Edge, which is now one of Singapore’s most recognisable buffet restaurants; alongside the relocation of the Pacific Club Lounge to Level 38, offering panoramic 360-degree views across Marina Bay and the city skyline.

And honestly… if you’ve ever stepped into the hotel lobby before, you’ll probably remember those iconic floating pods suspended dramatically within the atrium. They’ve practically become part of the hotel’s identity at this point.

The transformations continued through the years with refreshed event spaces, a revitalised pool oasis, the serene Keyaki Garden Pavilion, and newer lifestyle concepts like Pacific Emporium and PLUME with each adding another layer to the Pan Pacific experience. It's nice to see that despite evolving with modern luxury trends, the hotel still retains that unmistakable old-school grandeur that many newer hotels simply can’t replicate.

More Than A Hotel — A Piece Of Singapore’s Story

Here's some fun facts about the hotel...

Pan Pacific Singapore was actually the first hotel in Singapore to introduce NETS back in 1986.

It also appeared in the 1988 comedy film Carry On Hotel, featuring familiar Hong Kong stars including Jacky Cheung, Cherie Chung and Eric Tsang,  adding a fun little pop culture chapter to the hotel’s legacy.

Even more heartwarming is the fact that some associates working at the hotel today have been there since its pre-opening days 40 years ago. That says a lot about the culture and people behind the brand. Because at the end of the day, luxury hospitality isn’t just about beautiful interiors or fancy experiences. It’s the people who create the memories guests carry home with them.

Celebrating 40 Years With Special Experiences

To mark the occasion, Pan Pacific Singapore is rolling out a full year of celebratory experiences across its restaurants, bars, spa, and staycation offerings, which I think some of these deals are pretty tempting ~~~

Art, Community & Looking Ahead

Beyond dining and luxury experiences, the anniversary celebrations also include “A Voyage of Hue and Imagination,” an art showcase by Dr. Lowly displayed within the hotel’s public art space on Level 2 of Pan Pacific Singapore, from now until 1 June 2026.

It highlights his signature "Squeeze and Splatter" technique - dynamic bursts of acrylic that transform spontaneity into structure and disorder into visual poetry. Inspired by nature and emotion, Dr. Lowly’s works explore imagination, impermanence, and hope. Each canvas becomes a dance between control and release, echoing experience, mystery, and renewal. His art celebrates both the fleeting grace of the natural world and the quiet resilience of the human spirit. In support of a meaningful cause, Dr. Lowly will donate 100% of proceeds from the sale of two artworks, “Ferocious Focus” and “Stripped Stare,” to the Children’s Cancer Foundation.

The hotel is also continuing its partnership with Dementia Singapore, supporting dementia awareness initiatives and community programmes. Through this partnership, Pan Pacific Singapore offers exclusive stay and dining privileges to members of CARA, Dementia Singapore’s lifestyle and community platform connecting persons living with dementia and caregivers to a supportive ecosystem of solutions.

The collaboration also creates opportunities for Pan Pacific Singapore employees to participate in dementia advocacy efforts, including awareness talks by Dementia Singapore and internal training programmes organised by the hotel to enhance understanding of dementia-related issues within the hospitality sector.

With so much to offer, it’s not just about commemorating 40 years of luxury, it’s about celebrating four decades of stories, people, memories, and moments that became part of Singapore’s own journey too!

Happy 40th Anniversary, Pan Pacific Singapore.
Here’s to many more beautiful memories ahead. 🐝
