• Vegan leather: Produced using process-controlled machines and eco-friendly methods, vegan leather is a great animal-friendly alternative to genuine leather. It offers the same supple touch and appearance of leather without the high carbon footprint, typically a result of the gallons of water required to process natural leather.
• Felt: Produced from acrylic threads largely attained from post-consumer plastic, the felt material is highly durable with many layers interlocked in its construction. Although lightweight, it is highly water-resistant and provides great layered protection. Ultimately, the felt scraps and fibers can be further broken down and recycled towards the end of their lifecycle.

What To Expect At GameStart 2017?

GameStart 2017, Southeast Asia’s Premier Game Convention, returns for its 4th edition with a Cyberpunk theme. Spanning an expanded space of 3 Halls this year for its 4th edition on 14 & 15 October 2017, fans can look forward to annual favourites returning as well as new and exciting content, including showcases of upcoming blockbuster games, esports, indie games, retro gaming, and cosplay.


Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia returns as a key exhibitor, Lenovo will be the Official Gaming PC, while MyRepublic returns as the Official Fibre Broadband Partner; alongside the annual favourites returning as well as new and exciting content, including showcases of upcoming blockbuster games, esports, indie games, retro gaming, and cosplay.

New additions include a large GameStart Tabletop area to play, discover, and compete on new and well-loved tabletop and arcade-style games. Winners of the Game On! Cosplay Runway

Returning to GameStart 2017 in response to popular demand and in partnership with Neo Tokyo Project, is also the Doujin Market, where Singapore's largest community-curated youth arts and illustration fair. You can also look forward to meeting and appreciating the craft and stunning game cosplay from Astro Kerrie and Yasemin Arslan, invited cosplay guests from Australia. Astro Kerrie is sponsored by pop culture partner event, Evolve Perth, who will also be co-sponsoring the cash prize of GameStart’s Game On! Cosplay Runway.

On the AR front, organisers announced that NexRealm will bring the world’s first augmented reality techno sports, HADO, to the convention. HADO is the first esports based on wearable devices and AR technology using head mount displays and motion sensors. Just like real-life sports, players are free from cables and will not be restricted to being in front of a screen. Visitors will get the chance to try the “Player VS Player” matches at GameStart 2017.

This year, the region’s most popular conventions will join forces at GameStart, showcasing a selection of choice content from across Asia. In addition to partnerships with Taipei Game Show (Taiwan) and BEKRAF Game Prime (Indonesia), C3 AFA (C3 Anime Festival Asia) - Southeast Asia’s biggest Japanese popular culture event platform - comes in as a co-marketing and content partner, looking to bring killer Japanese content to the event.  Visitors can also look forward to hands-on experience on the indie gaming content from Taiwan and Indonesia.

My First PANDORA

I finally made my first step in creating my very first PANDORA charm bracelet! This blog post may come in a later late as this was done end of last year, but I was simply having too much fun wearing and "showing off" my new bracelet!

I was at their newly renovated branch at Raffles City to choose my bracelet. But trust me, the moment you step in, the amount of charms presented in front of you makes you dizzy and lost in Charm Wonderland!

The ideas to create your very own bracelet is limitless. It could be about your dreams, goals you want to reach, memories of where you've traveled or basically a story about you! So many colours, so many little stories I want to fill my bracelet with....

So, are you ready to see what I chose for my bracelet? Let me share my story with you...

I had 13 charms together with a chained charm at the end. Let's begin from the left...

A dangling RAT charm for my Zodiac sign, a spikey pink charm that locks and fascinated me from the beginning. Then it is a glass charm that was the season's latest and the duo colour gives the bracelet a 3D feel. A 3 hearted charm, and since I simply love dangling charms, I had one with a pearl in the middle and another gold heart towards the end.

I also then added a luggage bag and camera for my love of travel and photography and last but not least, a queen bee charm for who I am. Queen to my Huneybees! :)

I simply love my bracelet! There's so many possibilities to wearing it and especially great to have my memories with me wherever I go and definitely sharing my stories when people ask about my bracelet...

Lenovo's Windows 8 Convertibles Launch‏

Supta Vajrasana, Ustrasana, Tuladansana, Sasangasana are some of the yoga positions. But the latest 3 new models of portable computing devices by Lenovo can do that too! Lenovo is also partnering with SingTel to offer an exclusive edition of the IdeaPad Yoga 13 (Intel Core i5 processor priced at $1,799) with every sign up of SingTel 150Mbps Fibre BroadBand at $98 per month of 15 Mbps Home BoradBand at $79.90 per month.

The ThinkPad Twist S230u is available already with prices starting from SGD $1,699.

The ThinkPad Tablet 2 will be available in mid December with prices statrting from SGD $899.
