[What's New] Easter Weekend Nail Art Manicure

Hi Huneybees,

How was your Good Friday break? I spent the day hanging out with my girlfriends at Sentosa and though I'm pretty tired now, but it was definitely great to be able to catch up with them and spend some time, thrashing all the stress aside.

Here's a quick update of my DIY nail art manicure for this Easter weekend. I have a little hatching chick on the thumb, tons of painted Easter eggs as well as a bunny friend to celebrate this long weekend break.

[Tried & Tested] Models Own Speckled Egg Collection

Hi Huneybees,

Though this collection came a little late for Easter, the Models Own Speckled Eggs Collection is still the best choice for Spring/Summer. Available in 5 pastel shades, these nail polishes all come packed full with tiny matte black glitter to give it the feel of a bird egg.

“Dove” – Cheeky Pink

“Duck” – Cornflower Blue 

“Goose” – Mellow Yellow

“Magpie” – Mint Green

“Swan” – Dreamy Lilac

I hardly do my nails in yellow, so I chose to have "Goose" the pastel yellow shade. It's a pretty weird shade as it's a cross between yellow and green. But I love the effect after 3 coats of it. My nails totally resemble that of an egg!

I love how easily the glitter payoff comes with each coat, without having to dig for them. I can easily apply a nice layered coat and the slight sheer yellow nail polish allowing the glitter to show through gives it the egg shell feel.

The longwearing nail polish, dries with a semi-matt, mottled finish. Removal of it is easy, nothing troublesome like the typical glitter polishes, just remove as per normal nail polish. I think I'm gona try Magpie next. What about you? Which shade would you pick?

New Accessories

Hi Huneybees,

 

Not long ago, my hubby got me a new watch just to match my sneakers from ADIDAS, Jeremy Scott wings sneakers collection. We walked past SWATCH and found out that Jeremy Scott did a collaboration with them and now there's a wing watch! It's a all white watch with wings attached (OK, I know that sounds like a sanitary pad) & there's even the designer's signature on the back!

Next up, is what I got on this Easter weekend. As it was spoken in my previous entry, I was at a PUMA event and I was infatuated with Dawn Yeoh's get up. So shopping queen - me, made a trip to PUMA boutique at 313 @ Somerset to get myself something, guess what I got...

It's all about colours and being cool.

I wore them out to watch "Arthur" tonight.
