Hi Huneybees,

I've always thought Museum of Ice Cream is one of those places that brings out the inner child in everyone. So when I heard they were giving away free ice cream to celebrate National Ice Cream Day, I knew it was worth sharing with my fellow Huneybees.

On 19 July, Museum of Ice Cream Singapore (MOIC) is throwing open its doors for a one-day celebration packed with free treats, colourful photo opportunities and even the chance to win a year's worth of unlimited visits.

Whether you're already a fan of MOIC or you've been looking for the perfect excuse to finally check it out, this might just be the best day to drop by.

Free Ice Cream for Everyone

From 10am to 6pm, MOIC's Dessert Bar & Café will be open to the public with free entry, and every visitor will receive a complimentary ice cream cone while stocks last.

Of course, no visit to Museum of Ice Cream is complete without snapping a few colourful photos, and for one day only, guests can also enjoy free access to the iconic outdoor Sprinkle Pool. It's usually reserved for museum visitors, making this a fun bonus if you've always wanted those playful sprinkle-filled shots. Better still, the Dessert Bar is pet-friendly, so your furry companion can join in the outing too!

Win a Museum of Ice Cream Annual Membership

The celebrations don't stop at the venue. MOIC is also hosting an Instagram giveaway where four Annual Memberships, worth S$248 each, are up for grabs.

To participate:

 • Follow @museumoficecreamsg
 • Comment with your favourite ice cream shop
 • You're in the running to win an Annual Membership

Skip Valentine’s — Singapore Is Getting Its First Coffee Rave for Singles at Museum of Ice Cream

Hi Huneybees,

Who says February has to be all roses, candlelight and awkward prix-fixe dinners?

This year, Museum of Ice Cream Singapore is flipping the love script with Sweet, Bitter, and Twisted - an Anti-Valentine’s Coffee Rave designed especially for singles who would rather dance than do small talk.

Happening on 22 February 2026 from 3pm to 6pm, this high-energy daytime event blends ice cream, espresso, DJs and playful matchmaking into one unapologetically fun afternoon at its outdoor alfresco bar in Dempsey. Honestly? This might be the most chaotic-good way to spend Valentine’s season.

As shared by Pirakash, Head of Revenue and Growth at Museum of Ice Cream Singapore, the idea is simple: Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to mean awkward reservations and forced romance. This event is built for people who want to meet in motion - dancing, exploring, laughing and letting the museum do the ice breaking.

I love it that a venue understands that being single isn’t a problem to solve. It’s a phase to celebrate (preferably with ice cream)!

A Coffee Rave… For Singles?

Yes. This is not quite your usual “linger around with a drink and scroll your phone” kind of mixer.

Sweet, Bitter, and Twisted shifts the focus away from awkward introductions and toward natural connection, there will be music, movement and shared moments that make conversations flow effortlessly. Leaning into the rising popularity of alcohol-optional social events, the experience stays true to Museum of Ice Cream’s playful DNA: immersive, energetic and just the right amount of cheeky.

Created in partnership with dating app Tantan and homegrown bakery Kwaasong, the event refreshingly redefines what a singles gathering can be - less pressure, more pleasure (and definitely more dessert). Expect daytime rave energy, ice cream in one hand and espresso in the other, all set against uplifting house beats that keep the mood buoyant. With both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options available, the atmosphere remains inclusive, relaxed and perfectly designed for easy mingling.

What’s On the Menu: Sweet Meets Bitter

Because what’s a coffee rave without actual good food?

You will be able to indulge in event-exclusive Mini Ice Cream Tarts showcasing vibrant flavours such as Mango Passionfruit and Black Sesame ice cream, each bite balancing fruity brightness with rich, nutty depth. These sweet treats are thoughtfully paired with Kwaasong’s earthy matcha and decadent chocolate tarts, creating a dessert lineup that feels equal parts comforting and intriguing (very “it’s complicated,” but in the best way).

Behind the bar, the drink menu leans fully into the Anti-Valentine’s spirit with playfully named, coffee-forward creations. Back to Black delivers a bold marriage of espresso and matcha, with the option to dial things up through a spirited blend of espresso liqueur and vodka. Green with Envy layers matcha with creamy sesame ice cream and cocoa for a lush, indulgent finish, while Text Me Tomorrow brings a brighter profile with strawberry sauce cascading into passionfruit tea and ripe mango for a refreshingly vibrant lift. Best of all, every drink is available in both alcoholic and non-alcoholic versions, keeping the experience inclusive, relaxed, and perfectly suited for mingling at your own pace.

Designed for Connection (Without the Awkwardness)

At the heart of the event is a game called The Hand You’re Dealt.

Upon arrival, every guest receives a playing card and checks the “Wall of Fate” to discover what their card reveals about their vibe and status. It’s playful, slightly mysterious, and way less stressful than introducing yourself with, “So… what do you do?”

From 3pm to 6pm, you can also enjoy Express Tarot Readings, a five-minute, tongue-in-cheek sessions with themes like:

 • The Red Flag

 • The Green Light

 • The Reality Check

It’s sharp, entertaining and just self-aware enough to make you laugh at your own dating patterns. Meanwhile, DJ Alex Limguini keeps the energy alive with three hours of uplifting house music, transforming the pastel-pink playground into a caffeine-fuelled dance floor.

This February, skip the clichés.

Choose sugar over stress.
Espresso over expectations.

And if you do meet someone cute? At least you’ll have a great story that starts with, “We met at a coffee rave inside a pink ice cream museum.” 🍦✨

I’m Loving The NEW TIGER RADLER

Hi Huneybees,

I was first introduced to this new Tiger Beer variant on Thursday, 28 November 2013 at the noon media launch at Addictions @ 22 Dempsey.

The timing of the media launch (at lunch time) was by no chance a mismanagement by the marketing/communication team of Asia Pacific Breweries Singapore’s (APB Singapore), but a deliberately crafted attempt to allow the media to have a new experience of drinking during office hour.

Tiger Radler, a new variant and product innovation that is made of Tiger Beer with natural lemon juice is designed to provide consumers with double refreshment. Nevertheless, I was initially skeptical when was told that this new Tiger Beer variant could be enjoyed at different times of the day across all occasions, including barbecues, afternoon drinks and even over a spicy meal of chilli crabs with friends.

After experiencing a relaxing brunch of gastronomic delights paired with the refreshing new Tiger Radler, in which I had two bottles, I have to admit that I thought I was having Lemonade rather than beer! The only giveaway was my radiant red face, thanks to my good blood circulation, which is within the family, in reaction to the 2% alcohol content (seriously that little!). Tiger Radler has won me over!!

Tiger Radler is a thirst-quencher packed with a brand new taste that is fruity and sharp whilst being rooted in beer. By the amount of TV ads that you would have already exposed to by the time this blog-post is out, you would have tasted Tiger Radler. The fact that the lemon taste dominated the the beer typical bitter after-taste, coupled with low alcohol content, anyone could easily drink several bottles without realizing that they are actually drinking a beer!

Just in case you are wondering why this new Tiger Beer variant is called Radler, there’s actually a story behind it: Radler, which means ‘cyclist’ in German, is said to have been invented by Frank Xaver Kugler in June 1922 when some 13,000 cyclists unexpectedly visited his pub. To prevent his bar from running dry, he added lemon juice to beer, and Radler was born. The rest is history.

Tiger Radler is now available in both cans (330ml and 500ml) and bottles (330ml Pint bottle and 633ml Quartz bottle) and would be available at all leading retailers, ranging from supermarkets to convenience stores, restaurants, pubs and clubs.

For more information, please log on to www.TigerBeer.com.sg and www.facebook.com/TigerBeer.sg.

[What's New] Hugo Red - Fragrance by Hugo Boss

Hi Huneybees,

Phew! Last week was a hell of events for me. It was like swimming in a bottomless open ocean and I was busy rushing around with the heavy flow of work projects. But I was super happy that "business" is picking up...

So, Hugo Boss have released their latest masculine fragrance called Hugo Red and the ad campaign is fronted by actor and musician Jared Leto. Seriously, RED is a whole new world for me. Watch this ad above and you will know what I mean!

Hugo Boss Red launch (5)
I didn't get to make it to the event, so I'm gona "steal" some photos from Cheryl. The perfume launch was at Red Sea Gallery up on Dempsey Hill and the ingredients used for the making of the perfume were revealed.

Hugo Boss Red launch (2)
Top Notes: Grapefruit
Heart Notes: Rhubarb
Base Notes: Cedarwood & Hot Amber Accord
Hugo Boss Red launch (3)

The tagline and the colour - Red screams bold and strong in your face, but the fragrance seems kind of womanly for men, although it is a strong one to women. It could be due to the fruity smell of the Grapefruit that covers the smell of the Cedarwood.

The bottle of Hugo Red is supposed to be thermosensitive and change to the touch. But the question is how long does it take? I've tried several ways and it was not successsful.

Hugo Red is available at all Hugo counters.

GUINNESS® Setting World Record Title For The “LONGEST BAR SLIDE”!

Hi Huneybees,

GUINNESS® revealed its iconic draught brew - GUINNESS Draught in a Bottle (GDIB), in a sleek new 330ml bottle in Singapore last night, offering consumers a new twist on the legendary brew. Draught GUINNESS® has traditionally been a tap beer served in a pint glass. Singapore will be the 3rd market globally and the first in Southeast Asia to introduce the newly packaged GUINNESS variant, after North America and South Korea.

History was made by the brand as it celebrated the launch by setting a Guinness World Record of the “Longest Bar Slide”!

“Guinness Draught in a Bottle injects a new feel to a brand that is strongly established in the market. Our all-time favourite Guinness draught now comes straight from a bottle, offering consumers a new and more accessible way of enjoying their favourite product. What better way to launch this bold and smooth new bottle in Singapore than to contest a Guinness World Record of the “Longest Bar Slide”. Guinness aims to bring to our fans ground-breaking experiences and this promises to be an exciting first for the brand here!” --- Mr. Rene de Monchy, Head of Marketing, Asia Pacific Breweries Singapore

The exclusive event was attended by over 350 guests at the House of Timbre and 5 lucky fans picked by GUINNESS attempted to set the world record on behalf of the brand by sliding the new draught bottle down the full length of a 15 metre specially-constructed beer slide, closely watched by an adjudicator from the Guinness World Records.

The 5 lucky handpicked fans and the Adjudicator (left).
The five fans were handpicked by GUINNESS who had submitted the most creative entries to a contest hosted on the brand’s Facebook page which asked consumers to complete the sentence “Guinness is as smooth as…”.

The Adjudicator who kept super close tabs on the participants.

To successfully establish the record, the opened bottle had to remain on the flat, smooth-surfaced bar which measures slightly wider than your average 30 cm ruler after the attempt, with no spillage allowed. Following the record attempts, guests also had the chance to try their hand at the slide on a custom built Guinness bar, which measured 0.5 by 15 metres.

In the end, Guinness fan Jeffrey Ng, slide the new 330ml GUINNESS Draught in a Bottle 14 metres and 10.4 centimetres down the specially constructed bar slide to establish the world record, emerging as the winner for the night.

“We are thrilled to have secured the Guinness World Records title for the “Longest Bar Slide” which made the launch of the iconic Guinness Draught in a Bottle even more ground-breaking. What an exciting first for Guinness in Singapore! Guests and fans witnessed history today and the achievement marks the launch of Guinness Draught in a Bottle which offers consumers a new way of enjoying the Guinness draught they know and love." --- Mr. Rene de Monchy, Head of Marketing, Asia Pacific Breweries Singapore, who received the official certificate from the Guinness World Records adjudicator on-site.

GUINNESS Draught in a Bottle (GDIB) will retail for approximately $12 per bottle at clubs, restaurants and diner outlets all over Singapore, including areas such as Dempsey Hill, Holland Village, Clarke Quay and Mohamed Sultan Road.

The launch of GDIB in Singapore will be supported with a 360 campaign across advertising, public relations, social media and brand activation.

GUINNESS should always be enjoyed responsibly – for more information visit www.DrinkiQ.com.
