The focus of this new fragrance is the Cactus Blossom. With the aim to ‘reinvent and modernise floral green notes with a delicate pink twist’, the cactus with it’s delicate pink blossoms madde to the top with its fresh, feminine and floral softness.

Its lingering scent lasts throughout the day, allowing me to go from work to play without having the need to keep spritzing the perfume. It would definitely make a great Christmas present this festive season... :)

NBCUniversal To Crown Their Very Own High Heeled Warriors‏

Hi Huneybees,

Hot on the heels of NBCUniversal’s highly successful High Heeled Warriors research on female Pay-TV viewers, the network has announced plans to roll out its inaugural High Heeled Warrior Awards. The High Heeled Warrior Awards will recognize and celebrate the achievements of women in Asia who have contributed to society in their industry and community, and have made an impact in the lives of many around them.
High Heeled Warrior Awards was rolled out on 29 August 2013 and spearheaded digitally. It aims to honor women in different fields such as Entrepreneurship, Arts & Entertainment, Community Service and Unsung Heroes.
Luxury fashion and fragrance brand Hugo Boss is lending its support to further the cause of High Heeled Warriors, where women are approaching their expectations of life with increasing power and capability.
The High Heeled Warriors research categorizes women across Asia in five different groups. These are the unique career-focused ‘Trailblazers,’ the spontaneous ‘Passionistas,’ the well-connected ‘Social-siders,’ the fiercely loyal ‘Peace-Keepers’ and the loving and family-oriented ‘Heart-Warmers.’ The High-Heeled Warrior Awards targets women who fit into these respective groups, showing how they have empowered themselves and the women around them, and also to celebrate their roles and contribution to society.
In the Arts & Entertainment category, host and former editor of Elle Magazine Anita Kapoor, supermodel Lisa Selesner, Malaysian actress Lisa Surihani and owner of creative agency Present Purpose Tracy Phillips have been nominated for their involvement in projects that stretch across the screens, theatres, large-scaled events and concert halls. These are the women defined by recognition and admiration from the public and for industry endorsements as well.
Filling the Entrepreneurship category, are Plukka Jewelry founder Joanne Ooi, boutique hotel owner Yenn Wong, founder of Malaysian fashion brands KLutched and ShoeShoesShoes Ung Yiu Lin and Tjin Lee, Managing Director of Mercury Marketing & Communications. Coupled by their own success of innovation and creativity, these women have made a name for themselves in the corporate world from remaining on top and running their own home grown businesses.
The third category is to recognize our passionate women whom have devoted themselves to volunteer work and dedicated their lives to help others. LEAP Spiral founder and Executive Director Cynthia Ong, Co-founder of a non-profit organization Fugee School Deborah Henry, Programme Director of FilmAid Asia in Thailand Mary Soan and Pia Bruce, Executive Director at National Committee for UNIFEM Singapore, are the women who fall under Community Service category. These are women whom are not only defined by their activity and commitment to helping the less fortunate, but also for their vast contribution to society and to help bettering it.

Nominations for the first three categories have been shortlisted by a panel of judges. The judging panel will be led by Christine Fellowes, Managing Director, Asia Pacific of Universal Networks Internation, Todd Forest, Executive Producer Asia Pacific, Microsoft Online Media and Publishing, Singapore, Ruth Yeo, Executive Director at YTL Singapore Pte Ltd and Director at YTL-SV Carbon Sdn Bhd and Diana Ser, who spearheads a communication consulting and media training company.
Women who have made a significant impact and positive difference to society and to the life of those around them fall in the last category; The Unsung Heroes. These women selflessly help others and don’t expect to be recognized for their hard work by their peers or even by their pay.
The public is encouraged to submit nominations from 27 August to 8 September as to who they think should be considered an Unsung Hero. Voting for all categories will then be opened to public from 9 to 29 September via www.highheeledwarriors.asia. Winners will be announced on-air on both DIVA Universal and E! [What's New] Hugo Red - Fragrance by Hugo Boss

Hi Huneybees,

Phew! Last week was a hell of events for me. It was like swimming in a bottomless open ocean and I was busy rushing around with the heavy flow of work projects. But I was super happy that "business" is picking up...

So, Hugo Boss have released their latest masculine fragrance called Hugo Red and the ad campaign is fronted by actor and musician Jared Leto. Seriously, RED is a whole new world for me. Watch this ad above and you will know what I mean!

Hugo Boss Red launch (5)
I didn't get to make it to the event, so I'm gona "steal" some photos from Cheryl. The perfume launch was at Red Sea Gallery up on Dempsey Hill and the ingredients used for the making of the perfume were revealed.

Hugo Boss Red launch (2)
Top Notes: Grapefruit
Heart Notes: Rhubarb
Base Notes: Cedarwood & Hot Amber Accord
Hugo Boss Red launch (3)

The tagline and the colour - Red screams bold and strong in your face, but the fragrance seems kind of womanly for men, although it is a strong one to women. It could be due to the fruity smell of the Grapefruit that covers the smell of the Cedarwood.

The bottle of Hugo Red is supposed to be thermosensitive and change to the touch. But the question is how long does it take? I've tried several ways and it was not successsful.

Hugo Red is available at all Hugo counters.

Hugo Boss Celebrates 30 Years in Asia

Hi Huneybees,

Hugo Boss celebrated its 30th year in Asia with a sensational showcase of its latest collection in Beijing.

Over 1500 guests and celebrities flocked to the event, including renowned actor Chow Yun-Fat. Other celebrities spotted are Tilda Swinton, Matthew Goode, Ryan Phillipe, China Chow, Zhang Zilin, Wu Chun, Carina Lau, etc. Photos can be viewed here.
The China Agricultural Exhibition Center, one of the city’s largest and most impressive complexes, was the venue for this major fashion event, which housed the impressive 1,170-ft LED-laden runway --- Stanley Lee from the China Agricultural Exhibition Center in Beijing.

Hugo Boss has seven collections, including its higher and medium-price tag lines and a home line. The event showed pieces from two collections, BOSS Black and BOSS Selection—the latter is the brand’s premium bespoke line.

Models, fashion bloggers and other big names graced the event, with British actress Tilda Swinton standing out amongst the 1,500 high profile guests. For those who couldn’t make it personally, Hugo Boss made other provisions.

The night before this show, Hugo Boss opened its flagship store at the China World Hotel offering its customers 3-D glasses for the fashion show, which was broadcasted live over the Internet. Put on your 3D glasses before watching the video. It's amazing!

The show’s theme was "Modern Luxury" -- Designers Eyan Allen and Kevin Lobo described the men and women’s collections as "sexy, confident and empowered". The Hugo Boss Fall/Winter 2012/2013 colors are red and black with a lot of cream, and in textures of leather, wool and silk. The show kicked off with the BOSS Black signature style for women, offering a fresh take on classic designs to commemorate its 30th year in China. And the company believes it’s only the beginning.
Claus-Dietrich Lahrs, Chairman & Ceo, said, "We are working with those very important events like tonight... I believe the Chinese growing story will continue... here, also in Hong Kong Macau and Taiwan."

The menswear BOSS Selection showcase continued on the theme of modern luxury for the modern man, offering timeless yet distinct designs. The designers are flaunting a new mode of elegance based on urban design.

The show reached its climax with renowned actor Chow Yun-Fat’s stroll down the catwalk. A pleasant surprise for the audience as the host revealed that Chow is celebrating his birthday on the scene.

Actor Chow Yun-Fat said, "I’m so excited to have done a 3D cat walk today, and I could hardly recognize myself in these clothes today".

China is currently the brand’s third largest market, and Hugo Boss predicts that it could climb to be the largest in 5-10 years.

The above information is taken from Senatus.net.

Hugo Boss also did a marketing stint to shoot virals on 3D camera, calling it "The Video Diary by MISS HUGO BOSS". Not only did it introduced China to the other parts of the world, we even get to see what goes on behind the brand and even famous fashion blogger Bryanboy gave us a tour of Beijing!
