Whole New Nespresso Experience @ Takashimaya

| |
Hi Huneybees,

Yesterday, Nespresso opened their doors of their newly revamped boutique at Takashimaya Department Store (Household Department, Level B1) right at the heart of  Orchard Road

Expanding from 43 square meters to 71 square meters, the new Nespresso boutique features a brand new carpe diem, or coffee tasting bar in Nespresso speak, where customers can enjoy a cup of high quality coffee. Customers will continue to be greeted with personalised service from the Nespresso coffee specialists, who will guide them through the range of coffee machines and Grand Crus that Nespresso offers.

In line with Nespresso’s commitment towards the environment, the new boutique will also accept used coffee capsules from customers for recycling. This will be an additional recycling point to the current one at ION Orchard boutique.

Let's take a tour around the boutique. Shall we?

In conjunction with the reopening of the Takashimaya boutique, Nespresso also launched specially created iced coffee recipes that suits Singapore's climate - Iced Caramel Cafe, Cafe Banana Split, Iced Cappuccino, Iced Coconut Coffee and Tiramisu Coffee to refresh and delight coffee lovers out there!

The secret behind each iced coffee recipe is the delectable range of Nespresso Grand Crus coffee, which makes the perfect base for these sumptuous iced coffee creations. The recipes have been hand crafted by the chief coffee specialists at Nespresso and devised specifically to appeal to the preferences of the Asia Pacific region. Knowing the region’s preference for white coffee, most of the recipes incorporate chilled milk, which is especially popular throughout Asia.

I got to taste 2 of the creations and the first one is Iced Coconut Coffee, where a scoop of coconut ice cream is added to a cup of Arpeggio Grand Crus, with brown sugar, milk, cinnamon powder and desiccated coconut to complete the chilled drink.

Next was the Tiramisu Coffee - a scoop of chocolate ice cream, a capsule Indriya from India Grand Crus, crushed biscuits, milk and grated chocolate, was all I need to perk me up in the hot weather.

Cappuccino à la rose is my favourite hot coffee recipe and Tiramisu Coffee is definitely my favourite

iced coffee Recipe!

The Nespresso gourmet iced coffee recipes are available for sampling at all Nespresso boutiques during the month of August. The recipes will also be posted on the official Nespresso Ultimate Coffee Creations website (www.nespresso.com/ultimate-coffee-creations) so anyone can create their own iced coffee by following the simple instructions.

Nespresso also has an Ultimate Coffee Creations website which has tons of coffee recipes. You can check it out here: http://www.nespresso.com/ultimate-coffee-creations/SG/en/coffee-recipes.

The Nespresso Aeroccino 3.
Nespresso is also running a National Day Special – From 1-11 August, receive a complimentary Aeroccino 3 with purchase of Citiz Single coffee machine (Fire Engine Red retailing at SGD$388) and any 9 sleeves of Grand Crus coffee.
Enjoy ~

I want a Nespresso Coffee Machine!

| |
Hi Huneybees,

Are you guys coffee lovers like me? Psst, I was recently at the Nespresso 2% Party and we had tons of fun drinking coffee (yes, kept me up all night after that...). I was first introduced to Nespresso, during my wedding. The hotel suite that I stayed in had their coffee machine and the coffee was amazingly fragrant and came in super handy in between the wedding preparations...

At the party, we were introduced to more variations of the coffee and different ways of appreciation...

Did you know, not only the different capsules are of different coffee flavours, they can also be added with different ingredients to create differrent drinks? With the gold capsule - Dulsao do Brasil Grand Cru, milk, rose syrup and white chocolate, I can enjoy a nice warm cup of Cappuccino A La Rose right there in minutes.

Nestlé Nespresso SA is the pioneer and reference for highest-‐quality portioned premium coffee. Headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland, Nespresso operates in more than 50 countries and has more than 7000 employees. In 2011, it operated a global retail network of 270 exclusive boutiques.

This is so cool! Socia Media and Technology has been married alot of times at events and this time with Instagram, once your photo has been hastag-ed, you can find it on the wall almost instantly!

Another challenge was to guess the number of capules are used for this logo design above our heads. For awhile, you can find everyone raising their heads counting the numbers. It was quite fun to see. :)
The coffee martini was a surprise. Not only was it refreshing, it was also a new idea for my parties. With a Nepresso machine at home, I can have coffee martinis, cappuccino-s, latte-s, frappe-s anytime I want them.

We were surprised by a gymnastic act. This lady was lifted above ground and she played in around the hoop with ease. It was so beautiful and every moment was like a piece of art...

Met the amazing local band duo - Jack and Rai and a few friends at the party. It was great fun and thank you Nespresso for the invitation!
