Hailing direct from the UK, Star Wars and Beyond, The Iconic Film Scores of John Williams will open in March 2016 for 3 shows only. 

Film scores of John Williams have been accompanying us through the moments of ups and downs as we watch the iconic movies like Jaws, Jurassic Park, E.T, Harry Potter, Superman and one of the most epic scores of all time - Star Wars!

John Williams, an American composer, conductor, and pianist with a career spanning over six decades, has composed all these popular and recognizable film scores in cinematic history and these magnificent music masterpieces remain as popular today. Just a note from the pieces, you can already relive that moment when Dinosaurs first hit the screen, when that big shark had its mouth wide open hungry for 'food' or that favourite moment of mine - when Luke Skywalker racing through the Death Star maze as he avoids and attacks those TIE fighters!

The Star Wars and Beyond, The Iconic Film Scores of John Williams is presented by Base Entertainment and staged in association with Raymond Gubbay Ltd to bring each piece of music scores to life by a magnificent light and laser display stunningly programmed to perfectly complement each musical score. 

This spectacular lighting display is designed by Durham Marenghi who has recently been appointed as the lighting designer for the Rio 2016 Olympic Opening and Closing Ceremonies and the concert will be introduced and conducted by the irrepressible showman Anthony Inglis, taking charge of the full 80 piece Singapore Metropolitan Festival Orchestra.

Anthony Inglis, has been described in the UK press as “one of Britain’s most popular conductors” (Manchester Evening News). Upon leaving Marlborough College, he studied music at The Royal College of Music and now leads a busy international conducting career, appearing with some of the greatest orchestras in concert halls and recording studios around the world, including the Royal Albert Hall, where with over 250 conducting performances to his credit, he has been credited as the most frequent visiting artist. Among the orchestras he has conducted are the four main London independent orchestras (LSO, RPO, LPO and Philharmonia), all the British independent and most BBC orchestras, the Melbourne, Sydney, Gothenburg, Singapore symphony orchestras and the Warsaw and Israel Philharmonic Orchestras.  He is currently Music Director of The National Symphony Orchestra in London and is Music Supervisor/Consultant for The Phantom of the Opera at Her Majesty’s Theatre, a show he has been with for 27 years. BLUEPRINT 2014 Opens With Fashion Show By 11 International and Local Designers

This morning, BLUEPRINT 2014 officially opened at Suntec Convention Centre, Hall 401 and 402 with an Opening Fashion Show featuring 11 international and local emerging designers. 1700 guests came to support the designers and here's more from the fashion shows...

BLUEPRINT is the annual shopping event where the fashionistas flock to for the latest designer labels to watch. And this year, it will be held from May 17 to 18, 2014 at the Suntec City Convention and Exhibition Centre, with over 200 emerging designer labels retailing their Pre-Spring collections.

Designers who participated include Abcense from Taiwan, Bitching and Junkfood from United Kingdom, FABITORIA from Taiwan, j a n  |  s o b e r  from Indonesia, Morphe from India, NATALIEBCOLEMAN from Ireland, RÊVASSEUR from Singapore, RICO RINALDI from Malaysia,  ROGGYKEI from Japan (*Lady Gaga approves!), SVETLANA KUSHNEROVA from Kazakhstan and ZÊ QUUN from Korea. 

Something special this year, would be the partnership with the UKTI (United Kingdom Trade & Investment) for the first time. Get ready for a Brit Invasion, as never-seen-before exclusive UK brands (some which Lady Gaga & Rihanna LOVE) hit our shores.

And not just for the ladies, there’s something installed for the papas and kids too! Childrenswear labels will also be introduced at Blueprint 2014 so grab a little something for your little tots and make it a special family shopping day too! :)

If you are into all things beauty, you would be attracted by this new reality show by MTV - Beauty School Cop Outs.  Premiering on Wednesday, 19 March at 2pm (WIB), 3pm (SIN/HK/PH), 4pm (MAL), the 8 selected, colourful characters are guided by experts in a plush beauty salon in Manchester, U.K. and given the chance of a lifetime to kick start their careers by learning waxing, shaving, tattooing, and practising on real customers

If you love Geordie Shore, you will LOVE this fabulous entertaining reality TV show, shining a light on a group of young wannabe Beauticians who are on the journey of their lives. What could possibly go wrong?!

There will be 4 guys and 4 ladies in the show and here are the boys - There’s Calvin, our Beyoncé obsessed Scouse drag queen who wants to learn all the make-up skills to enable him to pass on the ’drag legacy’. Daniel aka ‘Protein Boy’ who is a gym fanatic, phobic about fat people and is often mistaken for being gay due to his strict beauty regime. Jeremy the Irish model and lothario who would never miss his weekly manicure and lists looking good as his top priority in life. Richard, who states that his body is a temple, works as a club doorman as he thinks it’s the best place to score women and believes working in a beauty salon could be another great place to pull.

Then there are the girls – Barmaid Sacha and the baby of the group, dreams of becoming a make-up artist to the stars, aided by a multitude of wigs and varying shades of tan she is forever changing her look. Self-confessed Barbie Savannah, has all of her make-up tattooed on and says this was the most painful experience of her life even more painful than breaking her arm - but obviously worth it to this beauty fiend. Not a fan of the natural look, dancer Scarlett has been fake tanning since the age of 14 and dreams of one day having her own beauty range so other girls can look as fake and over the top as her. Always needing to be the centre of attention, Tara the MILF of the academy is not afraid to speak her mind leaving her unpopular with other girls and despite admitting having very shaky hands she thinks that beauty is the career for her.

[Get The Look] Amazing Nail Art With Models Own

Hi Huneybees,

I am a happy kid whenever there is new nail products to play with. I'm like the kid under the Christmas tree unwrapping gift after gift. In fact, who hates surprises in bright neon shades?

Models Own have recently launched some new products and have sent me 3 lovely shades and textures - Artstix Nail Beads (Neon Pink), Wow Nail Art Pen (Yellow) & Ice Neon Collection (Bubblegum)

I used all 3 products to create a nail art theme for my nails and the base colour was using the Ice Neon Collection (Bubblegum). Like its name, the nail polish is a super bright shade of pink, totally screaming my kind of colour! It's difficult to find such a beautiful shade of neon without having it being too thin and watery. I simply had 2 coats of it on each nail and my nails are screaming bright pink.

What's fun about this nail polish is that you have to keep it frozen. Inspired by the trick of keeping a glow stick in a fridge to slow the reaction down and making the stick glow for longer, Models Own apply the same principle to this range of nail polishes.

The frosted bottles will withstand the cold and protect the pigments from fading. Along with keeping your Brights BRIGHTER there are many other benefits of storing polish in the fridge. Keeping it cool helps to slow down the discolouration, separation and pigment cracking that happens to polish as it get older. Ice Neon shades give an amazing matt finish – for a shiny effect apply Models Own 3-in-1 Top Coat.

For nail art addicts like me, you are definitely not a stranger to the nail art pen or brush. Other than the quirky packaging, the Wow Nail Art Pen is a must have for all who loves to doodle on their nails!

As a collaborative effort with WAH Nails again, they have come up with three new pens in primary colours - Pink, Blue and Yellow for you to match your favourite nail polish colours. Each nail pen has a duo application system consisting of a thin nib for intricate art work along with a long thin brush to add strokes and lines.

The tube is so soft, I don't even have to squeeze too hard to get the nail polish out, giving me better control while drawing on my nails.

The stripping brush is so fine and it's so easy to get different strokes easily.

And lastly, my favourite nail "gadget" for now, the Artstix Nail Beads! I got it in Neon Pink to go with the Bubblegum Ice Neon Nail Polish. Nail beads may have been around for awhile, but to get this beuatiful neon shade, I can only find it with Models Own. The beads are slightly smaller than the other brands' out there, but also because of that, it makes it easier to pack the beads together and stack them on my nail polish.

Firstly, you will need a tray to hold your beads when you pour them over your nails, so that you can pour them back into the bottle after. Upon the second layer of your nail polish, quickly pour the beads over, press it down a little and then leave it to dry. You don't even have to apply top coat on it and the nail lasted me a week, without losing a single bead.

So, combining the 3 products, this is the look I came up with for my nails. It's bright, it's funky and it definitely screams for attention. Wana see how to achieve this look? See my video below....

[Get The Look] An Inspired British-Singapore Look For Digital Fashion Week 2013

When I was invited by Digital Fashion Week to participate in a challenge to create my very own British-Singapore-inspired look, I knew I had to do something in relation to the London Eye and our very own Singapore Flyer.

Both tourist attractions were captivating by night and the lighted up wheels against the sunset lights were always etched in my mind. Both being so magnificent and holding much significance to Britain and Singapore, I decided to do a look based on the 2 pictures shown above.

I chose to incorporate The Body Shop Colour Crush eyeshadow - "Blue Over You" to resemble the dusky blue sky and with hints of pink and soft orange to resemble the sunset sky. Of course, not forgetting silver accents to symbolise the blinking lights around both London Eye and Singapore Flyer when the sky turns dark!

And not to overpower the look, I chose to have the popular gradient lips to complement the eyeshadow, reflecting the surreal quietness when both attractions turn dark. They stand to light up the night, looking oh-so-lonely against the river bank...

Together with the make-up look, I have also chose to dress myself up in British labels -  a multi-coloured sequined dress by Topshop to go with silver floral kitten heels by Irregular Choice. The palette chosen here is none other than to reflect the night and the shimmering wheels in the night.
