Pizza Buffet Fiesta At Pizza Hut From June Till August !

Hi Huneybees,

Half the year is gone and I'd say it's time to let your stress hair down, gather your friends and families together and spend some quality time together. I mean, when's the last time you've truly sat down and enjoy your meal with them? Either you are rushing through your meals or in this modern world of technology, letting your mobile phones "enjoy" your meals first, making sure we get the best #foodie social media posts right?

If you've seen the ad above before, you will know something new is brewing in the kitchens on Pizza Hut. Well, no messy customizing menus, fuss aside, the classic Pizza Hut Pan Pizzas went through a round of customer feedback and intensive brainstorming within the restaurant teams. Now served up are the all-new Pan Pizza versions of familiar favourites such as the Hawaiian, Super Supreme, Pepperoni and BBQ Chicken with a crispier crust, improved signature sauce and topping closer to the edge.

Pizza Hut wants to bring back the simple pleasure of a slice of piping hot and delicious pizza in this complex world of foodie fads with 90-minute pizza buffets in selected outlets each week from 25 June to 26 August 2018.

Yes! Infinite amounts of pizza slices within 90 minutes. 6 flavours to choose from and each buffet will start off with Breadsticks and Soup of the Day with 1 Soft Drink choice. The pizzas served up are:

Hawaiian
An all-time favourite. Tender chicken ham combined with sweet and succulent pineapple chunks for a taste of the good ol' days.

Chicken Supreme
Sink your teeth into a generous spread of savoury chicken ham, spicy chicken chunks, roasted chicken, topped with onions, capsicums and mushrooms.

Curry Chicken
Italian classic meets local favourite. Spicy chunky chicken, potatoes, onions and diced tomatoes come together for an authentic flavor of rich spices.

Super Supreme
Always a house favourite, combining juicy ground beef, smoky cabanossi sausages, beef pepperoni, chicken ham, and a luscious mix of capsicums, onions, olives, mushrooms and pineapple chunks.

Meat Galore
The perfect meat lover's choice. Chicken ham, pepperoni, minced beef and cabanossi sausages, with tomato mozzarella melt.

BBQ Chunky Chic
Spicy chicken chunks, onions and pineapple chunks, baked on a smoky BBQ sauce.

Check out all the cheesy goodness, I'm already salivating as I try to complete this post. So gather up your friends and families for this yummy treat. 8 Instagram Worthy Spots For Christmas Photography Before They Get Taken Down

Hi Huneybees,

This Queen Bee has been sleeping whole day for Christmas parties are tiring to prepare. Soooo tiring that I've gone off the grid and haven't been able to update for days. This post was suppose to be up to usher in Christmas but hey! I hope this can still make it when everyone's out for Boxing Day shopping! :)

Singapore is always dressed up for occasions and for Christmas, we are definitely lighted up in the most amazing way to celebrate with every mall is always upping their game to be the most beautiful in town. We know there's the Swarovski crystal Christmas tree at ION Orchard and the yearly "snowing" at Tanglin Mall, but there are places that not everyone knows...

So, here's a few of my hidden gems recommendation, so you can grab gorgeous Christmas photos before they change for Chinese New Year! :)

1) FORUM The Shopping Mall

Known as the kids' Wonderland, the mall has definitely made every little girl gleamed with joy as they ride in their very own lighted carriage pulled by a beautiful unicorn. All donned in blue, this makes a great background to have you standing out in that red outfit.

Even inside the mall, makes a good OOTD spot. :D
2) Hilton Singapore Hotel

It's more of the D9 Cakery within the hotel premise. Not only do they have these delectable cakes and pastries in snow globes as well as Christmas ready, there's also this Gingerbread castle that's not only a scene that must be captured, but also smells super fragrant that I wana bite into!

3) Wheelock Place

A place definitely for the Le Petit Prince fans, fly on the red plane within Wheelock Place and you can travel to Planet B-612 to meet The Little Prince himself! :)

4)  Shaw House

After seeing Katy Perry's MV for the H&M Christmas campaign, don't you just want to be part of the Christmas decorations?! Well, be a life size Christmas ornament in a present and send this pic to the significant other?

5) Orchard Gateway

♫ Do you wanna build a snowman? Come on lets go and play
Need I say more about this Christmas decoration right outside Orchard Gateway's entrance? Better come in your best Frozen frock for this scene!

6) Orchard Central

Right next door at Orchard Central, is what I would imagine Christmas Wonderland in North Pole to be like. The outdoor candy cane swing makes and amazing place for couple shots and don't forget to pop inside for the reindeer carousel too! :)

And now, for some away from hustle and bustle Orchard Road recommendations too!

7) Suntec City

Well, you can also go under and look into a Christmas Tree, here at Suntec City North Wing! Make friends with a couple of nut cracking soldiers whilst you shop in this new revamped mall! :)

8) AMK Hub

This is really in the heartlands at Ang Mo Kio. Right at the entrance, you are greeted by these amazing number of Nutcrackers, each uniquely crafted and it makes a good backdrop for you to pretend as one and ask your friends to do a "Where's Wally" style photo hunt!

[Movie Review] Catch Bombshells Sofia Vergara and Scarlett Johansson in CHEF

Hi Huneybees,

Chef is a light-hearted movie about a chef, Carl Casper played by Jon Favreau (Who's also the Writer and Director of the movie), who lost his restaurant job in Los Angeles and then returned to started up a food truck in Miami in an effort to reclaim his creative promise, while piecing back together his estranged family.

Other than being a mini Iron Man reunion, bombshells Scarlett Johansson and Sofia Vergara heats up the movie screen.
The movie rides on the food truck craze in the States and with the strong cast list (Jon Favreau, Scarlett Johansson, Dustin Hoffman, Robert Downey Jr., John Leguizamo, as well as the sexy CoverGirl - Sofía Vergara) , you are in for a "treat".

Well, it all started with a food review by the renowned food critic Ramsey Michel, played by Oilver Platt, which went horribly wrong because of its restaurant owner, Riva played by Dustin Hoffman, insistence of serving the “proven” menu which lacks the creativity that Ramsey was looking for.

While the movie did make the audience hungry during Carl’s detailed food preparation scenes, it was Social Media that took the central stage in this movie. It showcased the power of Social Media – from Twitter, Youtube, Facebook to Vine - and we could all take a note or two from the movie on how it could be navigated to our advantage (and also disadvantage).

In Carl’s case, it was Twitter that first got him into trouble because he assumed that he was sending a “private message” to rap at Ramsey for the humiliation that he felt from Ramsy’s review and then later when he twitted out to Ramsey to an open challenge in an attempt to redeem his sore pride, which he never able to deliver after been fired by Riva.

Just as the audience thought it was bad enough, Carl’s loss of cool later at the restaurant was captured by many and went viral online (Youtube) that essentially sealed his Chef career. His return to reclaim his creative promise by running a food truck (named EL JEFE) was much to the credit of his son, Percy played by Emjay Anthony, who not only helped him as a line chef but more importantly his social media CEO, using platforms like Twitter and Facebook to update the public on the development of EL JEFE across the country.

It was after watching the Vine video of the entire journey of the food truck compiled by his son that marked the starting of Carl’s reversed relationship with his son and his ex-wife, Inez played by Sofia Vergara.
The ending of the movie was a fairy tale with Carl and Ramsey buried their quarrel and becoming partners of the EL JEFE restaurant and what seems to be a re-marriage of Carl and Inez.

Overall the movie was very entertaining but for fans of Scarlett Johansson who played Molly, the hostess at Riva’s restaurant, you will be disappointed as there were not much acting scenes of the Black Widow (although she did wore a low-cut black dress in one of those scenes) and all happened during the first part of the movie!

Chef opens in cinemas 5 June 2014, be sure to catch it while it's hot! ;P

The Inaugural #HappinessServed:) Campaign Launched In Tiong Bahru

Hi Huneybees,

On 7 September 2013, Singapore’s first #HappinessServed:) campaign was launched in Tiong Bahru. Aiming at building a culture of appreciation in Singapore’s service industry, more than fifty local businesses in Tiong Bahru have come together with the common goal of showing the public that good service is still very much alive!

A recent survey by market research group Taylor Nelson Sofres (TNS), revealed that 87 per cent of service providers (across industries such as retail, F&B, hospitality etc.) cited customer appreciation motivated them to perform better and go the extra mile. Customer support also ranked highly on encouraging businesses to up the ante on delivering quality service experiences.

#HappinessServed:) encourages customers to recognise good service via the popular social media application, Instagram. The campaign runs from 7 to 22 September 2013, at the Tiong Bahru estate, known for its diverse business mix of modern bistros, traditional eateries, quirky lifestyle stores, and cosmopolitan demographic.

I literally grew up around the Tiong Bahru area and I was happy to find that Tiong Bahru was chosen to launch the campaign. It was friendliness everywhere in the area and I've always loved to hang around the area.

(L-R) Coreen Wong of Dough&Grains, Wang Zhiling of Wangz Hotel, Aaron Goh of D-Flat Studios, Loh Teck Seng of Teck Seng Soya Bean, Andrew Ho of Link Hotel and Nai Yong Chew of Asia Fruit Store
That day, we were brought on a walk around the Tiong Bahru area to some of the participating businesses. The respective business owners shared what are their key service attributes, and I also got to observe the first-hand service delivery between the staffs and customers.

D-Flat Studios.

Dough & Grains.

Tiong Bahru Bakery.

WANGZ Hotel.

So, the next time you are in Tiong Bahru between 7 to 22 September 2013, don't forget to vote for #HappinessServed:) stores. The public is invited to join in the celebration and recognise their favourite service staff and businesses in 3 easy steps:
 1. Visit any participating store in the neighbourhood
 2. Snap an image of the service staff who served you well
 3. Upload the image with the hashtag #HappinessServed:) and add the store's geo-location on Instagram
#HappinessServed:) counters placed in participating stores will add up all the votes in real time, providing instant recognition to the businesses and service personnel for their outstanding service. Such would highlight the exceptional service levels of these local businesses and reinforce the need to build a culture of appreciation in Singapore. Customers without the Instagram application are also able to participate via the submission of physical voting slips located at various collection points on-site.

The business, store and service staff with the highest votes will be announced when the campaign closes on 22nd September 2013.
