4FINGERS Collaborates With God of War In A Month-Long Epic Journey

Kratos and his son Atreus are back! Following the death of Kratos' second wife and Atreus' mother, they journey to fulfill her promise and spread her ashes at the highest peak of the nine realms. This installment of God of War is set in Norse lands and for those fans of this game, you are in for a treat.

If snacking whilst gaming is your thing too, pop on over to 4FINGERS Crispy Chicken near you as they have collaborated with Sony Interactive Entertainment Hong Kong Limited Singapore Branch (SIES), to celebrate the highly anticipated release of the latest installment of PlayStation® 4 video game - God of War.

From 20th April to 20th May 2018, the 4FINGERS x God of War campaign will kick off in 17 outlets in both Singapore and Malaysia. Diners will be treated to an immersive experience, featuring an impressive line-up of lucky dips, in-store gaming booths, photo backdrops, giveaways and lots of chicken! Whether you’re a God of War superfan or you’re devoted to crispy chicken, there’s something here for everyone.

While this may seem like an unlikely combination, 4FINGERS and God of War have more in common than you think. Much like the brave warrior Kratos, the brand strives to go against the status quo by serving their customers the freshest and crispiest chicken using only natural products. 4FINGERS is an advocate for the underdogs, often working with local artistes and organising events such as ‘The Local Motion’. By being loyal to their customers, there is a high level of engagement and positive interactions in-store.

Here’s what you can win:

• Diners who purchase 4FINGERS’ “Wings of Power” Combo meal will get a chance at the Treasure Chest lucky dip to win the grand prize of a paid trip to the famous Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) gaming conference in Los Angeles.
• Other prizes include Limited Edition God of War PlayStation® 4 Pro consoles, copies of the God of War game, and other exclusive merchandise.

Singapore Outlets will also have these exclusive activities:

• Starting with Orchard Gateway on Saturday, 21 April, 2 - 4pm, 4FINGERS has invited fans dressed as Kratos and Atreus to make in-store appearances across Singapore. 98.7FM Radio DJs Sonia Chew and Joakim Gomez will be conducting a live broadcast and engaging the crowd with fun activities from 2 - 4PM. Further fan dress-up appearances will be announced through social media.
• Marina Square, Northpoint City, Orchard Gateway, and Tampines 1 outlets will have GAEM mobile console machines for customers to try out God of War.
• The Jurong Point outlet will have a PlayStation®-branded booth where customers can experience the game as well.
• At Northpoint City, “Runes of 4FINGERS”, a weekly clue-based hunt will be conducted. Participants will have to find and creatively pose with a hidden “rune” at Northpoint City for a chance to win God of War merchandise, Nokia 3310 3G mobile phones, and the latest Apple iPad (2018) Wi-Fi 128GB. The first ‘rune’ clue will be revealed on 4FINGERS’ Facebook page next Friday, 27 April, at 10:30AM.
• The Marina Square and Northpoint City outlets will also feature a photo backdrop, where participants can snap powerful poses for Instagram and Facebook using the hashtag #WingsOfPower. The best posts will be rewarded with exclusive prizes.

All Things Kawaii At Anime Festival Asia AFA 2014

Hi Huneybees,

Were you at Anime Festival Asia AFA 2014? It was an amazing day for me as I had a great time snapping pictures of the cosplayers as well as checking out the displayed figurines. It's all so kawaii and I can't help speaking in Japanese when there. Hehehehehe...

Walking into the hall, I was already attracted to the GUNDAM Wall of Fame. There's so many of them in their different models, I just kept pointing them out to hubby... LOL!

Opposite that is the display for The IdolM@ster. They started as an idol producing game in 2005, meant for arcade game machines in amusement centres, and gamers were placed in the role of the producer and given the opportunity to produce their chosen idol to stardom. With a large, varied cast and a plethora of accompanying music, the game garnered great support, and next year in 2015, THE IDOLM@STER will celebrate its 10th anniversary. The franchise has also expanded from a console game into various other media such as comics, radio, a televised anime series and live events. So there were also some costumes from the live performances displayed at AFA.

Next up was my favourite! Sailor Moon!!!!

You guys may have seen these beautiful eyeliners in Watsons Singapore, but this Crystal Brooch compact powder and Moon Stick lipstick is exclusively brought in from Japan and after craving for them for so long, I knew, I couldn't leave for home without them. It's my favourite all-time anime and who don't wana transform into Sailor Moon?!

And whilst on the subject of Sailor Moon and its celebration of 20th anniversary, there were also tons of Sailor Moon memorabilia on sale at the Bandai booth.

Of course, there's alot more at the Bandai booth, with more Gundam figurines as well as Mask Rider, Dragonball and Mario figurines too!

The displayed Mirai Suenaga Smart Doll booth was packed with fans. It's no wonder, coz this highly animate-able, realistic looking dolls are so detailed and life like. Check out the Canon camera prop, it's as though you can start snapping pictures with it! 

And who remembers Death Note? It's now made into a musical! I wonder would they be having a special tour here in Singapore, I would love to catch it! Wonder how the real life L will look like Kenichi Matsuyama... >.>

When it comes down to gaming, Cherry Credits is one of the leading mobile game and their latest game - Puzzle Coin Hunter has been peeled to the game, not letting go of my phone at all. I can play this game for hours! They were giving away this cute thumbdrive for those who can hit the high score!

Their other game - Million Arthur also added new characters and one special one was the AFA character - Seika. She's so adorable, how can you miss it right?!

Of course, for gamers, PlayStation has unveiled the limited PlayStation®4 20th Anniversary Edition at AFA 2014. They have also announced “PlayStation® 20th Anniversary Online Contest” whereby fans have to use their creativity to win a purchase pass to purchase the limited edition PlayStation®4 20th Anniversary Edition. I'm still thinking should I get one... Should I?

Stay tuned in MAarch 2015 as Anime Japan: Anime Japan 2015 work together with AFA to cross-promote and introduce AFA to visitors during the event. Anime Japan 2015 will feature a new area to target trade visitors keen to discuss business collaborations and programmes.It will happen between 21st and 22nd March 2015.
