Casio Launches Limited Edition EDIFICE Series‏ To Celebrate Infiniti Red Bull Racing Partnership

Casio Singapore is introducing 5 limited edition EDIFICE models to its range of motorsports-inspired EDIFICE timepieces, in celebration of Casio's partnership with the four-time World Constructors Champion, Infiniti Red Bull Racing. The commemorative series is designed based on two popular EDIFICE models, the EFR-534 and the EFR-537, and sports the signature team colours and logo of Infiniti Red Bull Racing.


Out of the five new collaborative models, three are based on the EDIFICE EFR-534 equipped with EDIFICE’s Super Illuminator, a high-intensity LED light that brilliantly illuminates the dials. The other two models take the form of the EDIFICE EFR-537 featuring EDIFICE’s Neon Illuminator technology, a black LED light that coats the dials to provide a radiant nighttime glow. Each watch sports the signature Infiniti Red Bull Racing team logo emblazoned on watch face making it a must-have for avid fans of the winning Formula One® racing team.

Centered on the concept of “Speed and Intelligence”, the EDIFICE series personifies the essence of racing and speaks to adrenaline chasers and racers at heart. The limited edition models are also water resistant up to 100 metres and built with practical features such as a 1-second stopwatch function for utmost precision.


Motorsport fans can suit up in preparation for the Singapore Night Race later this year with the new collection available at all G-FACTORY, G-FACTORY PREMIUM stores and selected Casio authorised retailers island wide from 13 May 2014. 

The EFR-534RB range comes in a choice of silver (EFR-534RB-1A) or black (EFR-534RBK-1A) with a stainless steel band and black with a resin band (EFR-534RBP-1A). The EFR-537RB comes in silver (EFR-537RB-1A) and black (EFR-537RBK-1A), both fitted with a stainless steel band.

The new watches are retailing at the Suggested Retail Price of SGD259.00 (EFR-534RB-1A and EFR-534RBP-1A), SGD339.00 (EFR-534RBK-1A), SGD299.00 (EFR-537RB-1A) and SGD349.00 (EFR-537RBK-1A).

Casio G-Factory Ladies Concept Store Is Now At 313@Somerset

Local celebrity Lim Pei Fen hosted the launch of the CASIO G-Factory Ladies Concept Store.
Casio recently opened the world’s first G-Factory Ladies Concept Store at 313@Somerset to house a wider range of timepieces from SHEEN and Baby-G just for the female fashionistas in Singapore.

With its energetic bright displays and pastel colour palette, the concept store houses Casio's latest Baby-G, SHEEN, G-SHOCK and Edifice timepieces.


Together with the celebratory event, an array of watches were also launched. One special display would be the chronograph rhinestones rimmed SHEEN SHE-4031L range, that goes well with the Swarovski edition set of Casio’s EXILIM TR15 camera



My favourite has got to be the Baby-G BG-6903. Guess I'm attracted by the vibrant colours and also the sporty feel that's so versatile with every kind of dressing...

The Casio G-Factory Ladies Concept Store is located at 313@Somerset, #B1-19. And to celebrate the opening of this concept store, shoppers who purchase Baby-G or SHEEN timepieces at this store from now till 30 March 2014 will stand a chance to win a trip to Bali for two.

My FIRST watch was a BABY-G.
Writing this blog post brought back alot of memories. The first watch my parents bought for me for passing exams with flying colours was a Baby-G. It's now ranked as "antique" in my watch casing, but Casio has created a huge hype with their watches for years....



Casio's corporate creed is "creativity and contribution." It expresses the company's commitment to contributing to society by offering the kind of original, useful products that only Casio can.




Some interesting facts on Casio..
In 1974, Casio introduced the world's first digital watch - Casiotron, that features a fully automatic calendar, including month lengths and leap years. The first G-Shock model (DW-5000C) was born in 1983 and this tough watch has raised challenges insatiably based on its shock-resistant structure. I believe the G-Shock generation has revolutionized the watch industry and now who don't know G-Shock right?




G-Shock represents Absolute Toughness...
G-Shock has always been the tough looking kind of watch. Not surprising, throughout the years, G-Shock has raised challenges insatiably based on its inherited shock-resistant structure. Nevertheless, in the recent years, bigger design (Extra Large Series) and more colours (Shocking Colour Series) have been added to the collection to makes the wearer feel younger while looking tougher at the same time. I'm a fan of G-Shock, as it reflects my character. Hehehehe....




This is the watch that I've set my eyes on.
It's cool and the gold parts shows fashion and toughness go well together.
