Another 7th Month dinner

The 7th month on the Lunar Calendar just ended and I did a makeup for the last dinner that I had with my parents for the 7th Month. It's a little overboard, but let's just say as long as you are confident, you can carry off any look!

I was thinking of a colour to go with my teal t-shirt and I tot of purple!

Super crazy top and bottom lashes for the night.

Here's a little breakdown. Correction, the eyeliner is BLUE NOON not High Noon.

It was pretty much a simple eye makeup look. A light to dark purple eyeshadow for the lids and a light pink eyeshadow with shimmer for the brow bone and for a twist, I used my favourite M.A.C. Blue Noon eyeliner to line my lower lashline.

Then it's off to the false lashes. For the top I used a super volumizing pair of lashes from Daiso and for the bottom, I used 3 of those individual lashes also from Daiso, and applied them close to each other starting from the outer corner of the eyes.

This look is pretty dramatic, but I guess you can try it out with neutral colours like beige and brown eyeshadow for a day out with the girls or try other colours when you go for clubbing/parties. Have fun exploring the different ways!

Finish off with a pic of Mummy dearest and me. Everyone says I got her features... =P

[Get The Look] Makeup In A Snap

Hi Huneybees,

I was just going to the neighbourhood mall, but didn't wana go out looking so unglam. So I just did a simple makeup look and I think it looks pretty. Wana share with you guys how to look good in just minutes! *Super good one for the OLs...

So this is how it looks. Just a simple green eyeliner line jazzes the whole look. Who says you have to use natural colours for work? Here's how it's done...

Introducing the gadgets: Silkygirl Lime Gree Eyeliner, M.A.C. Blue Noon Eyeliner, Kate eyeshadow BR-2 and M.A.C. Fresh Daisy eyeshadow.

Then, for a little twist, I even wore this new earring I bought from Forever 21. Feather is the new in and this one's even for people without a ear hole piercing. You literally hook it over your ear.

[Get The Look] Vancouver Hauls - M.A.C. Surf Baby

Hi Huneybees,

I should have done this long ago. Just that there were more and more works and events when I got back from Vancouver and could only talk about them now. I was in Vancouver in May and I got a plentiful of makeup hauls. Let me share them with you...

This is from M.A.C.'s Surf Baby collection. I know it's available in Singapore, but I just can't wait and since I'm there, why not get it right? They had several colours, including bronzers etc. But I only got an eyeshadow and an eyeliner.

I chose eyeshadow - Surf USA and eyeliner - Blue Noon.

I have too much makeup gadgets already, so I chose the only colours that were unique to the collection and that I do not own already.

Swatch from left: Eyeshadow, Eyeliner, Eyeshadow on top of the Eyeliner. See the difference? I love the effect when both are combined.

 So here's a couple of looks I've come up with using the 2 items above. Totally dig the colours!

LOOK 1

Brown goes super well with the teal colour!

LOOK 2

This one's more minimal, less dramatic and with the silver eyeliner, it's so glam!

LOOK 3

For this look, I just had the eyeshadow kept on the outer corner.

Some might say it's weird, But I call it refreshing. *Not sure why I have shots of my drinking...*
