[What's New] M.A.C Cosmetics To Launch Versicolour At 313 Somerset

Here's another upcoming launch from M.A.C cosmetics this 16 April to add pops of colours on our lips for this Spring/Summer season!

[What's New] M.A.C. Hey Sailor!

Whenever I look at this collection, Christina Aguilera's "Candyman" just never cease to stop, it keeps playing on repeat mode in my head!

She's a M.A.C. girl and this video of sailor boys fits the new collection of M.A.C. just nice. Hey Sailor is a collection that gives Pin-Up Girls a new splash of colours, blue, green and gold were the highlights and to top it all with a super red lipstick pout, send all the men into a crazy daze of sex appeal....

At the event shoppers' night held at Robinsons (Raffles City), not only did I get to be the first few Singaporeans to lay my hands on the collection, there was also tap dancing performances and a live demonstration on how to get the Hey Sailor! look by M.A.C.'s Senior Make-Up Artist, Beno Lim.

With the Sailors and bumped into Cookie at the event. 

Yipee! It was Beno's time to shine and show us how to achieve the look on the tap dancers...

Audi Fashion Festival - Cleo Runway Search 2012

Last weekend, we saw the unveiling of the winner of the Cleo Runway Search 2012 at the Audi Fashion Festival. Alongside professional models and Cleo Bachelor hunks, the finalists did a show-off for the ultimate win of one-year modeling contract with Carrie Models, $1,000 worth of products from Levi's, $1,000 cash prize and a six-page fashion spread in CLEO.

There was an island-wide search for the next runway star aims to promote local talent in search for a fashion-forward girl who possesses the looks, personality and tenacity to be a top-model and CLEO provides young women with a platform to showcase their talent and personality. At the same time, reinforcing the importance of self-confidence and a healthy body image.

“CLEO wants to challenge all the young women in Singapore to do extraordinary things. We’re encouraged by the immense response we’ve had for the casting event as well as the talent we’ve found this year, and we’re confident you’ll be seeing a lot more of them after the CLEO Runway Search,” said Cheong Kamei, Editor of CLEO Singapore.

Thanks to Cleo, I had the opportunity to run backstage and check out how a runway show is prepared. There was a lot of rushing around, but not till the state of chaos. Covering the whole backstage, I learnt a few tricks myself... :)

AHH!!! My idol, Sheila Sim. She's so friendly and approachable! Always loved her style and her super versatility to try out so many different looks.

Winner of Cleo Runway Search 2011, Grace Leong, kickstarted the show with Cleo Bachelors escorting her. Everyone cheered and clapped. What a great way to start the show!

Followed by a runway show of Levi's clothings with Sheila Sim heading first, as well as the Bachelors and Grace Leong. Part 2 of the show had the finalists dressed in Levi's clothings and they did a second walk down the runway.

And the winner is born! Congratulations to Ms Siti Nadiah Sapuan!

Ms Siti Nadiah Sapuan, 19, is an Institute of Technical Education (ITE) Simei student, who is studying sports management, beat 11 other finalists to win the Cleo Runway Search, also recently won ITE - Carrie's Next Top Model Search 2012 at ITE College East and got into the top 25 of this year's The New Paper New Face. She's totally an up-and-coming local model...
