[What's New] Can't Wait For The Etude House Play 101 Pencil

As a kid, colour pencils are my best friends. I would make everything I draw come to life with colours and till today, they are my companions in my bag. What Etude House recently launched, would definitely let me renew that childhood feeling again by "painting" on my face! 

Under there Play series, you can find tons of nail polishes to create millions of nail art and now the Etude House Play 101 pencils in 50 different colors works wonders just like the nail polishes. They may look like eyeliner pencils for you, but in fact, they are plentiful of ways you can use them!

The Etude House Play 101 Pencil (0.5 g, 6,000 won) can be used as a concealer, highlighter, blush, eyebrow pencil, eyeshadow, eyeliner, lip liner, and lipstick. You might even be able to create an unique, new lipstick color by mixing three different colors with each other. It is like an artist's colour palette and your face is the canvas!

There are 5 kinds of pencils (see color of the words behind the number of the pencil):

• Creamy (yellow)
• Matte (blue)
• Glossy (orange)
• Shimmering (pink)
• Glitter (white)

So, Etude House has collaborated with Pony's Beauty Diary and  created 8 different looks that you can try with the Play 101 Pencils: Angel's Drop, Baby Doll, Mini Retro, Love Affair, Deep & Deep, Kiss of Fire, Queen of Queen, and Hey! Bad Girl.

[Tried & Tested] Wave Goodbye To Smudges With EYLURE Miss Flicklash False Eyelashes

Having to draw the right winged eyeliner takes quite a bit of practice and in our climate, it's so hard to find the right eyeliner to get that black line to stay on without having to smudge throughout the day right?

Well, then the Miss Flicklash by Eylure is the one for you!

Think Vintage Burlesque, Dita Von Teese style, Miss Flicklash is bursting with personality, allowing you to ditch the eyeliner and mascara and enjoy your day (or night) out.

Developed by sisters and Makeup Artist and Products Designer Duo - Lynne Mills and Lucy Ross, the pair of false lashes comes with a "built-in" eyeliner. The eyeliner is made of velvety material and the pair of falsies is not only flexible but also very sturdy, I've been re-using them for more than 7 times and I can still keep on wearing!

The product idea was inspired by countless client requests over the years on replicating the sought after 'eyeliner flick' make-up look at home, then after a few years of experimenting 'Miss Flicklash' - A False Eyelash with an Eyeliner Flick Attached was developed.

The pair of Miss Flicklash I got is the 140F. It comes in a bright pink packaging and this is the more luscious pair. I didn't have to do much trimming and it fits perfectly onto the shape of my eyes.

The flick has a separate tape attached to them, so after you've glued the lashes on, you can adjust the flicks afterwards. I didn't have to do this since mine always sat evenly without any fiddling. Maybe after a couple of times the tape might not be that sticky anymore, you can simply put a bit of lash glue in replacement.

I wear these lashes throughout the day, more than 8 hours a day and I can simply wave good bye to smudges, having to fret my eyeliner has faded or even if my falsies have dropped! So, come join me and bid our adieu-s to our mascaras and eyeliners!

Overall, the formula is excellent but for the price, I might have to consider a bit before getting it. It's definitely good to have if you use really waterproof makeup products...

[Tried & Tested] DASODA MG Mega Liquid Liner

Eyeliners are such a must for make-up these days and I bet alot of you girls will be screaming their heads off if eyeliners were removed. And in this warm and humid country of ours, smudgeproof, waterproof eyeliners are in high demand!

DASODA - a brand from Japan is now available in Singapore's SASA stores. With their MG Mega Liquid Liner, you can create the eyeline you always wanted and have it stay for the day! It's fast drying formula allows you to outline your eyes or draw that thick line without smearing...

The liquid liner is a the blackest black and amazingly, it is easily washed off with facial cleanser. The carbon black ink is free of coal-tar colorants, so that the liquid does not penetrate the skin. But instead, it adheres to your eyelid and comes off when in contact with the facial cleanser.

[Get The Look] Looking like Marilyn Monroe with M.A.C.

Hi Huneybees,

As you guys know, I have recently acquired the M.A.C. Marilyn Monroe collection. Wana look like Marilyn Monroe? Here's my step by step on how to achieve the look. (Psst, this look was done on my way to out to town in the car. Simple as ABC!)

Step 1. After foundation and powder, draw you brows as usual and apply a light beige eyeshadow (that's close to your skin colour) all over the lid.

Step 2. On the out corner of the lid, draw a V inwards and up, along your eyeball, stopping mid lid. To create a deeper set of eyes.

Step 3: Using a beige eyeliner, draw a line on your lower waterline.

Step 4: Draw a wing tipped eyeline. Try to stick as close to the lashes as possible.

Just a thin line will do.

Step 5: Apply mascara of false lashes and (here comes the difficult part when the car is on the move) using a red lip pencil, shape your lips and fill it in.

Step 6: Apply your red lipstick and dab a little gloss in the middle of lips for the extra pout.

Step 7: Finish off with a light dab of blusher and a little contouring if you like.

Get a blonde wig and dip a little sexy mole on your cheek for your Marilyn Monroe impersonation... :X

It looks amazing! Not only it defines my eyes, the thin eyeliner also makes it look so natural! Simply love it!

I'm now still working out how should I draw my eyeliner art to get spotted. But before I log off, here's one last tip for tomorrow's event (simply for those we did not get the tickets). They will be selling the eyeliner at the door for $19.90, get your tickets upon purchase. However stocks are limited and based on first-come-first-serve basis.
