The MTV EMA 2013 happened this morning at 4am, I was too tired to stay awake, but the lovely people of MTV had me flown to Kuala Lumpur and right now I am watching the uncut version of the whole show right in the lobby of Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral.
So, here's the lowdown on who wore what at the red carpet. Are you ready to see who were the #EMAzing people?
Even though Rihanna wasn't present at the MTV EMA 2013, Dutch singer-songwriter Eva Simons’ out of this world hair and look at the awards show, definitely rocked the red carpet. She also another favourite of mine. Totally digging her style.
So, here's the lowdown on who wore what at the red carpet. Are you ready to see who were the #EMAzing people?
Hosted by Louise Roe and Laura Whitmore, the red carpet was roaring hot as the celebrities get sent into intergalactic. Totally digging the Mara Hoffman Spring 2014 dress on Louise Roe. The right amount of flesh showing with this season's hottest neon colour pops!
As for Laura Whitemore, what's so out of this world from her FYODOR GOLAN gown has got to be the weird proportions around her boobs, the dress simply looked so ill-fitted and cinched at all the wrong areas, making her look as though she was pregnant.
Redfoo was the host for the night and no one can work those crazy hair like him. He had 9 different outfit change and he even had his very own shoe horn guy!
The Duo - Caroline Hjelt and Aino Jawo of Iconapop turned up in monochrome black and white but the twist of stripes and intricate weave detailing on Aino's dress was simply screaming sexy without being too sleazy.
Same for Ellie Goulding, she opted for a lacey back dress with all the right coverage. It was all so pretty for an award show but it would be better if she had a pop of colour like red lips or holographic heels?
Nominated for the Artist On The Rise award, Ariana Grande turned up at the red carpet in a lace inset halter frock from Mikael D. Kinda disappointed that she had dropped her red hair look, but we will be seeing more of her as she interviews celebrities as the official MTV EMA backstage host and she be presenting an award.
30 Seconds to Mars is forever my favourite group to look at. Ok. I admit, just Jared Leto, but his long hair was a turn off. Where is the clean cut Jared???
Katy Perry's red carpet look was totalloy a letdown. She looked as though she was going for tea with The Queen! I do love her bling bling headband and the clever peach heels to freshen the common mint dress. Psst, Katy even admits to collecting hair and she has Miley's !
The popular Norwegian duo - Ylvis also did their ever so catchy (or irritating) "Fox Song" performance right at the red carpet. I just can't help singing along....
This had got to be her year. Miley Cyrus with her image change and over obsessive tongue sticking and twerking moves turned up in a tiny little dress featuring Tupac and Notorious B.I.G. faces, a plunging neckline, lacing up the front and a barely there backside.
She was on the verge of going Bai Ling style there, but we also got to see her new tattoos of her grandma on the arm. I wonder what monkey business she will be up to on the award show.
Iggy Azalea was the most polished and my favourite look with her cutout one-shoulder dress with thigh-high slits from Dilek Hanif Couture. A little red lips might make her face stand out a little more though....
Special appearance by Will Ferrell as Ron Burgundy. Asked by reporters how he was enjoying Amsterdam, he said he has had "a lot of these delicious brownies, and they are very good." Hmmm.....
