Fans of festival will now have to get the General Admission tickets as well as Mosh Pit tickets at $88 and $118 respectively at all the Peatix outlets and will go on sale at SISTIC from 1 October 2015.
Held at the F1 Pit Area at the Marina Promenade, the SKECHERS SUNDOWN FESTIVAL 2015 returns on 21 November 2015 for its seventh consecutive year with a stellar lineup of Asia’s biggest hip hop and rock artistes - headlined by Korea’s ‘Epik High’, Thailand’s ‘Potato’, Japan’s ‘INKT’, Singapore’s ‘Caracal’ and Indonesia’s ‘J-Rocks’.
Staying true to its mission of uniting Asia through music as well as creating a platform for local talents to showcase their skills, the Festival will also present a fringe fest of up-and-coming artistes. Homegrown Singaporean musicians ‘Cheryl Loon’, ‘Cashew Chemists’, ‘Farrago’, as well as Special Guest ‘Ground Zero’ from Taiwan are some of the exciting artistes to be performing this year.

Shila Amzah 茜拉 was a doll at SKECHERS Sundown Festival 2014 with her super friendly attitude and warmth to her fans. Dressed in red and black, this Malaysian raising star caught everyone's attention the moment she started performing Jay Zhou's "最长的电影". She has been the treasure of Malaysia and highly rose to fame after winning Asian Wave 声动亚洲 (Season 1).
At Sundown, not only did Shila performed English and Chinese songs, she even did EXO-K's "중독Overdose", that got all the kpop fans high and singing along. She was one of the performers that made me wish there was an encore through the night! So here's some videos and photos from that night... SHILA! Come back to Singapore soon!
Ok, I'm the TVB fanatic here. That's why a special blog post for one of my favourite Hong Kong artiste - Kate Tsui 徐子珊. Always love her makeup and those electrifying eyes of hers never fails to melt our hearts...
For Skechers Sundown Festival 2014, Kate was clad in a sexy asymmetrical tube dress, generously treating us to those long slender legs of hers. She was glowing and bling-ing with her swarovski embellished fedora hat, necklace and even stilettos.
We LOVE you too!
This sexy Miss Hong Kong spoke in fluent English, Mandarin and Cantonese and not on minute short of her smiles and jokes, while showing off her recent practices on singing, though not fantastic, but her voice is so nice! She even sang English/Mandarin version of the song that recently been on my playlist - 爱很简单. Guess she's been watching "Don't Go Breaking My Heart 2 单身男女2" ?
Hehehehe....
Here's a dedicated blog post for the fans of CROSS GENE 크로스진. (*Yes, I know you girls LOVE them) The boys were recently in Singapore for Skechers Sundown Festival 2014, that happened at the F1 Pit, next to the Singapore Flyer. Against the beautiful Marina Bay landscape, the boys sang and dance, bringing energy to the stage and of course, the screaming fans were a proof of that.
CROSS GENE is a six-member multinational boy band based in South Korea, consisting of South Korean Sangmin 김상민, Yongseok 김용석, Shin 신원호and Seyoung 이세영, Chinese Casper 中泽祥and Japanese Takuya 寺田拓哉.
Shin and Takuya had the most fans that night and unfortunate me, I had a screaming one right behind me, my ears are still ringing from that. But nothing will kill my mood, watching and hearing these boys perform. They really liven up the crowd!
For opening, they performed "I'm Not A Boy, Not Yet A Man" as well as "Shooting Star", "Crazy", "Dirty Pop" and "On The Floor". Here's a couple of videos from their performance and do check out the gallery for more of their photos. Hope you bees like it, go ahead and share them, but don't forget to give me credits. :P
Skechers Sundown Festival 2014 has just wrapped up last night, the 6 hours non-stop mash-up concert went way past over midnight and I'm still on a high from that. But before I share with you the lowdown of it, here's a brief flashback on what went down at the press conference the day before.
Held at the PARKROYAL on Kitchener, the press con saw the appearance of 11 of the performing artists from all over Asia, including Singapore. Home boy ShiGGa Shay said he is proud to join a “mini-United Nations music festival”.
Regina Lin from China
WEAVER from Japan
Chang Chen Yue from Taiwan
Each artiste/group also autographed on specially made Skechers t-shirt, which will be up for auction. Each of them were excited to perform at the music festival and Singaporean food seemed to be a top favourite answer for each of them.
My girlfriends were all going gaga knowing that Korean boyband - CROSS GENE will be in town. Indeed, these 6
It was an amazing time, when one of my favourite Hong Kong artiste - Kate Tsui 徐子珊 was within distance from me. I was busy snapping away with pictures and I swear I was melting there as she spoke in fluent English with her piercing eyes.

The Promontory @ Marina Bay was funfilled pack today with PAssion Fun Around the Bay (PAssion Fun Carnival, SKECHERS® PAssion Fun Walk and NESCAFE® PAssion Movie Night). I was mainly there to support Caltex’s latest social investment initiative
- Driving Change with Caltex.
The Charity: People’s Association
The Issue: Singapore has one of the fastest growing elderly populations in the world. Today, there are about 35,000 needy elderly in the country, many of who are left to provide for themselves. the most needy of this group live off as little as $300 a month, money that is barely enough for their food and basic necessities.
The Mission: Pack and sell 5,000 food hampers for to the needy elderly.
Driving Change with Caltex is a regional effort spanning five Caltex markets from October 5 to November 4, 2012. This initiative sees Caltex partnering with FOX International Channels (FIC) to create a first-of-its-kind reality community project, highlighting social efforts in Malaysia, Hong Kong, Thailand, Philippines and Singapore.
Hosted by TV presenter Henry Golding, 25, who was recently on ‘Without Boundaries: Islands and Beaches’ and ‘The Rail World’, Driving Change with Caltex will have Henry pair up with a local celebrity from each market as they attempt to gather volunteers and carry out a socially initiated mission.
In Singapore, Henry will be Driving Change with Caltex from November 2 to 4, 2012 and will be assisted by Singapore’s favourite mum, Irene Ang, 43, best known for her role as Rosie Phua in the longest-running local sitcom, Phua Chu Kang. They will team up with youths from the ‘Caltex PAssion for Kids’ programme, an ongoing Caltex initiative with People’s Association, aimed at providing education and life-skills for children from low-income families.
The Charity: PAssion CARES! Food Programme
You can go the extra mile by purchasing this $10 food coupon that will aid the underprivileged elderly in Singapore. Simply visit any Caltex Stations from now till 30 November 2012 or through cheque donation payable to “PACDF”.
Download Form here.
*This initiative is supported by the People’s Association.
The Singapore mission will challenge Henry and Irene to take the youth on a journey to support and give back to underprivileged elderly. They will be tasked to prepare and package 5,000 hampers, consisting of a selection of staple foods, which will be donated to the elderly. It will conclude on November 4, 2012 with a special lunch party prepared for 100 elderly beneficiaries. As a conclusion to their enrichment and the mission, the youth will also take part in a specially choreographed performance directed by Irene.
Tomorrow marks the last leg of the challenge and as of 6pm today, the team are still short of 1,000 hampers. As Irene and Henry mentioned, they would love for all Singaporeans to come down to Anchorvale Community Centre to do their part for the needy elderly. There is so much that the government can do and if it is within our means, why not do our part and give back to the community?!
The challenge will conclude at 3pm tomorrow and you can write a cheque or hand cash to Irene and Henry at the Anchorvale CC or you can also do so at any Caltex petrol stations.
For more details on the Singapore mission, visit the Driving Change with Caltex microsite at www.drivingchangewithcaltex.com.
We did our part. Have you?
The Singapore episode will be broadcast online after the mission, at the project’s microsite. The three-minute episode will also be broadcast on two of FIC’s leading general entertainment and factal channels, National Geographic Channel (NGC) and Star World. These clips will eventually culminate in a 22-minute segment scheduled for broadcast on StarWorld in January 2013.
Star World: Saturday, 17th November, 2012 – 10:15pm

SO, did the duo hit their target???
The exhilarating weekend was capped off on the 3rd day's afternoon with a special lunch party that was prepared for a total of 100 elderly; in which talented youths and artistes from Fly Entertainment performed a specially choreographed piece, directed by Irene.
Supported by a team of about 180 volunteers from the Pei Hwa Secondary School, Nan Chiau High School, kids from the ‘Caltex Passion for Kids’ programme, People’s Association and Chevron employees, the project managed to raise a total of $105,420, supplying 10,542 food hampers to the needy elderly nationwide.
Yipee! Great one Singapore!
Congratulations to Henry and Irene for completing their mission!
