Nintendo Pop-Up Store is Coming to Singapore for the First Time in SEA This November

For the first time in Southeast Asia, a Nintendo POP-UP STORE in SINGAPORE will open in Singapore for a limited time period, from 17 November 2023 to 1 January 2024. The Singapore store will feature merchandise from games such as Super Mario, Animal Crossing, The Legend of Zelda, Splatoon and Pikmin. They will include special original merchandise, as well as those previously only available at Nintendo TOKYO, Nintendo OSAKA, and Nintendo KYOTO stores. Celebratory activities will also be held for the pop-up store, more details below. 🠋

Merchandise Line-up

A key highlight of the product line-up is a special illustration (pictured above): With Mario leading the way, characters including Squid Ring from Splatoon, Isabelle and a villager from Animal Crossing, Link from The Legend of Zelda and more will cross game borders to welcome all at the store. This illustration will be featured in special original merchandise which will be available for purchase.

Nintendo POP-UP STORE in SINGAPORE Highlights

Singapore Special Postcards

To celebrate the Nintendo POP-UP STORE in SINGAPORE, six types of exclusively designed postcards will be available.  Shoppers who spend S$80 or more in a single transaction at the store will receive 1 of these limited-edition postcards, while stocks last.

Nintendo Account Check-in Sticker Campaign

Players who check in to your Nintendo Account at the venue can collect special stickers to mark this special event.  Each person can check in once a day, and will receive one sticker from the 18 designs available. Sticker designs will be issued on a random basis.

To redeem, fans can log into their registered accounts and check-in to the store by displaying the QR code issued onto a tablet device located at the store’s entrance. Upon verification by the on-ground staff, fans will receive the sticker.

PIPE AROUND THE WORLD - at Jewel Changi Airport
A collaboration campaign with Super Mario “PIPE AROUND THE WORLD” will also be carried out at Jewel Changi Airport to coincide with the period of Nintendo POP-UP STORE in SINGAPORE.  Details of the campaign will be released soon!

Singapore Is The Only Asian Stop For Kanye West's Pablo Merch Pop-Up Store

So many things are happening this weekend and one such is the infamous Kanye West's The Life of Pablo pop-up is set to take over the globe in 21 different countries and Singapore is one of the stop!

From 19 August till 21 August, temporary stores will offer the sought-after Pablo merchandise, including T-shirts and hoodies with your city's (Singapore) name scrawled across in Cali Thornhill DeWitt's now famous typography.

But! Here's the catch, no one truly knows where'she the exact locations and it will only be announced 24 hours before the pop-up opens. You can only get it on www.kanyewest.com for it.

So in the meantime, play some Pokémon GO and perhaps troll Kanye's social media first clues?

Get Inspired to #dreamagain With SK-II

SK-II is planning a global movement as part of the brand’s #changedestiny campaign which will take place this June in multiple cities across a 24-hour period. Each city will host activities targeted at professionals encouraging them to not only dream again, but to go out and fulfil those dreams, whether big or small.

The activation for Singapore will be at One Raffles Place where the SK-II Dream Again Pop Up will be and adults get to enter and talk to (super cute!) kid dream counsellors about living their dreams.

So, after that, something funny happened. I was dragged by the host, Queenie to do a little Q&A and then even a judging! Scoot over Simon Cowell....

The contestants were chosen and asked to do a dance, and then a runway show to showoff those silky hair of theirs. Queenie and Shawn from Sunsilk also did a demonstration. They really got everyone tickled pink.

In the end, we chose this lady - Mei Mei as the winner and Queenie got me to give out the prize. Hehehehe...

UNIQLO UT POP-UP! on Singapore 4 & 5 May 2013

Fashion just gets me excited. Uniqlo presenting UT POP-UP! (featuring the history of UNIQLO T-Shirts) on 4 & 5 May 2013, from 12pm to 10pm at 72-13, Mohamed Sultan Road. This global event was held successfully in Tokyo, Taipei, Paris, UK and US.

At the event, you can view a large scale display installation of UT designs, take animated photos at the UT Camera Booth, purchase yet-to-be-released UTs, explore a showcase of designs by emerging artists from Noise Singapore and enjoy local band performances.

Eight bands from Noise Singapore will be performing over the two days.  Uniqlo supports the arts movement in Singapore and will contribute all proceeds from the sales of specially designed T-shirts by local designers will be channelled to Transmission - an experimental incubatory platform organised by PHUNK. Transmission ((transmission.com.sg)) is supported by Noise Singapore, while Noise Singapore is an initiative of the National Arts Council.
