It's A Date - FRIDAYS WITH FUZZ

| |
Hi Huneybees,

Fridays will never be the same again as Singapore's very own homegrown funny man - Fakkah Fuzz takes over the Art Bar. I gurantee you will not be able to stand straight after that much laughing for two and half hours of FRIDAYS WITH FUZZ.

Featuring a cast of other budding stand up comedians, you will be in for a comedy night full laughter 'cos it's about time we laugh at ourselves. Ditch those boring dates, round up the gang and make this your weekly thang - it's the perfect way to start your weekend.

OMG! She sounded like Howard's Mum in Big Bang Theory!

I was down for their #MOMEDY night, held in conjunction with Mothers' Day, the comedians "paid a tribute" to mothers. Though the other comedians got me ticklish, I still preferred Fuzz with his jokes. Be warned as there might be "attacking" on you the audience, but no offense taken, it's just for laughs!

You can also take part in the challenges they put up and if you are lucky, you might just win yourself a bottle of drink to kickstart the weekend partying! Psst, maybe a cutie might get thrown in with the prize. LOL!

So, make a date every Friday for FRIDAYS WITH FUZZ. It will be followed by GET DOWN, Art Bar's weekly Hip-Hop party from 10.30pm onwards (till 4am).
*Cover charge to FRIDAYS WITH FUZZ includes after-show entry to GET DOWN.

GET DOWN
GET DOWN is Art Bar's new Friday night helmed by well-known R&B/Hip-Hop stalwart, DJ Titus and our resident DJ Zushan. It is their new weekly Hip-hop party every Friday as we take you back to the good old days of The Butter Factory at Robertson Quay, with the jams that you know and love. Get boozed, let loose and shake what your mama gave you.

Showcase by Singapore's Top Fashion Designer - Ashley Isham

| |
Hi Huneybees,

Last night, I caught Ashley Isham's new collection launch at his Boutique by Ashley Isham in Orchard Central. Ashley Isham has always been my idol and made the red dot on the world map prominnent by making an impact on the world's fashion scene!

A photo with my idol!
Having dressed celebrities such as Florence Welch in 2010′s Brit Awards, Christina Aguilera in the 2007 Grammy Award, Kylie Minogue, Cheryl Cole, Nicola Roberts, Sarah Harding, Nadine Coyle and Kimberly Walsh from girls Aloud, Erin O’Connor, Camilla Rutherford, Shinghai Shoniwa from the Noisettes, Pixie Lott and Lady Gaga. Ashley's high profile clientele includes stars of film and television, catwalk, music and many royalties. With such an impressive list of clientele and achievements, how can I not go support my idol right?

The launch was at Ashley’s 4th retail store Boutique by Ashley Isham in Orchard Central and the collections we were introduced are - A.I. by Ashley Isham S/S 2012, Christian Siriano S/S 2012, Catherine Deen S/S 2012, Ashley Isham A/W 2012 and Ashley Isham Menswear A/W 2012; accessories were by Sara Taseer, all of which, could be found in the store.

Whislst waiting for the show to begin, we shoped around the store...

On the econd floor is a tea room that serves crepes, cakes, Piper Heidseck champagne and cocktails, named Parlour by Ashley Isham.

After Bobby Tonelli's introduction, the show began with the A.I. by Ashley Isham S/S 2012 collection, followed by Catherine Deen S/S 2012,  Christian Siriano S/S 2012 and the climax was definitely Ashley Isham A/W 2012 for menswear and womenswear. It's an unconventional fashion show where models had to move up and down the long staircase. It's amazing how they strut their stuff in those 8-inch heels....

Special guest made a special appearance, with her long gorgeous hair, she strut through the store like a DIVA and  lept the guests entertained and giggling with her jokes.

Christian Siriano pieces reflected his daring and individual style, making every piece his signature. He has come a long way since Project Runway and I am very thankful to Ashley Isham for letting me catch the first glimpses of Christian Siriano S/S 2012 collection. :)

Yipee! And now for Ashley Isham's A/W 2012 collection. The colours are so bold and every piece is a wow factor. I'm loving the strong green snake skin lookalike fabric.

More clothings were found outside the store...

After the fashion show, we grabbed dinner and headed overthe Pangaea for the after party. My and hubby dedicated our night for Ashley Isham. :)
