Come See The Swatch x Dunkel Collection Before They Get Auctioned Off In April!

You have got to be at The Regent Hotel this weekend! One of the world’s greatest Swatch collections is on exhibition in Singapore as Sotheby's unveils Swatch & Art from the Dunkel collection!

The European collector Paul Dunkel collected more than 5,800 items including rare Swatch prototypes, limited editions and special Swatch watches from our first 25 years (1983 – 2007), as well as artwork relating to Swatch designs.

Entitled “Swatch & Art from the Dunkel Collection”, an auction will be held at Sotheby’s Hong Kong on April 7, 2015. Prior to the auction, a travelling exhibition presents highlights from the collection. It will be in Singapore on 14^th and 15^th March at The Regent hotel from 11am to 6.30pm. Entry is free of charge.

One of the highlights of the superlot includes the Kiki Picasso Set, limited to just 140 pieces is considered one of the most sought-after special editions Swatches. A Kiki Picasso wristwatch was auctioned in London for US$28,000 in 1992.

The collection also includes rare Swatch Art Specials by Keith Haring, Alfred Hofkunst and Jeremy Scott as well as the James Bond Leather Briefcase and the Bond “Villians Collection”, to mention only a few of the items in this exceptional collection.

The exhibition continues April 2-6 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, where the auction itself takes place April 7, 2015.

Tomorrow Is The LAST Day For UT POP-UP! Singapore

Hi Huneybees,

Last night, at the preview of UNIQLO's UT POP-UP! Singapore, hundreds of guests from media, corporate partners, VIP guests as well as Noise Singapore's artists and fans turned up for a fulfilled eyeing of fashion and music.

Upon stepping into 72-13 (Mohamed Sultan Road), there was a huge installation right in the middle of the hall, exhibiting over 1000 UTs (Uniqlo T-shirts) in 400 designs. I would imagine that would be how my wardrobe looks like if I were to put them up piece by piece like that. Maybe I should have my own fashion exhibit too! LOL!

And at the bottom of the installation was a preview of the UTs that you can find or about to find in the UNIQLO stores.  Of course, not to be missed would be the Hello Kitty and Disney ones...

Guests also had fun posing at the UT Camera Booth, where their animated photos were then projected live as well as uploaded on the global UT website. Go crazy, gather your friends and have fum like them....

Don't forget to head on to level 2 to bring home some UTs. There's a wide selection of UTs available for sale from $16.90, while special t-shirt designs by local designers from Noise Singapore were displayed for purchase at $15 each. I got myself a couple and all I can tell you is, it's SHOPPING TIME!!!

UNIQLO UT POP-UP! on Singapore 4 & 5 May 2013

Hi Huneybees,

Fashion just gets me excited. Uniqlo presenting UT POP-UP! (featuring the history of UNIQLO T-Shirts) on 4 & 5 May 2013, from 12pm to 10pm at 72-13, Mohamed Sultan Road. This global event was held successfully in Tokyo, Taipei, Paris, UK and US.

At the event, you can view a large scale display installation of UT designs, take animated photos at the UT Camera Booth, purchase yet-to-be-released UTs, explore a showcase of designs by emerging artists from Noise Singapore and enjoy local band performances.

Eight bands from Noise Singapore will be performing over the two days.  Uniqlo supports the arts movement in Singapore and will contribute all proceeds from the sales of specially designed T-shirts by local designers will be channelled to Transmission - an experimental incubatory platform organised by PHUNK. Transmission ((transmission.com.sg)) is supported by Noise Singapore, while Noise Singapore is an initiative of the National Arts Council.
