Japan’s chart-topping band Official Hige Dandism — better known as “Higedan” — is officially bringing their Asia Tour 2026 to Singapore for a one-night-only performance right here this August!

YOASOBI Returns to Singapore for a Two-Day Concert in February 2025 – Here's How to Secure Early Access Tickets

Get ready for an unforgettable night as YOASOBI returns to Singapore for their highly anticipated ASIA TOUR 2024-2025! After a sold-out performance at Resorts World Sentosa in January 2024, YOASOBI is coming back bigger and better. They will be performing two shows at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on 22nd and 23rd February 2025 to accommodate their growing fanbase. Make sure to mark your calendars and stay tuned for ticketing details.

The duo, consisting of musician-producer Ayase and singer-songwriter Ikura (also known as Lilas Ikuta for her solo work), has been making waves in the J-pop and anime music scenes since their debut in 2019. YOASOBI is known for transforming "novels into music," drawing inspiration from short stories, books, and plays. Their unique blend of pop and storytelling is enhanced by their collaborations with various artists.

Their debut single, “Yoru ni Kakeru,” topped the Japanese charts and went viral on social media. They've also created hit songs for anime shows like “Kaibutsu” for Beastars and the widely acclaimed “IDOL” for Oshi no Ko. Fans can look forward to these popular tracks and more from their latest EP, The Book 3, during their Singapore shows.

To give fans an early advantage, the organizers are introducing an Early Access Ballot for ticket sales. The ballot will be open from 13 September 2024, 2:00 PM SGT, to 17 September 2024, 11:59 PM SGT. Winners will be notified on 23 September and will have exclusive access to purchase tickets on 25 and 26 September, before the general sale starts on 27 September.

Ticket prices start at SGD108, with VIP packages available for SGD258 (excluding booking fees). VIP ticket holders will enjoy special perks, including early access to the merchandise area, a digitally signed postcard, and a Singapore-exclusive pack.

Joji, Pulp, Yoasobi As Clockenflap 2023 Headliners This December

Clockenflap, Hong Kong's biggest international outdoor music and arts festival, will be taking place at Central Harbourfront on 1 - 3 December 2023, they have recently revealed its massive lineup drop, giving fans their first taste of what they can expect to see.


The festival lineup includes Britpop legends and Saturday night headliners PULP; Australian-Japanese singer-songwriter, rapper, and YouTube trailblazer Joji, will be headlining on Sunday with a performance that will also be the last show of his Pandemonium world tour; J-pop super duo and Friday headliners Yoasobi will be joined by American singer-songwriter Caroline Polachek, and U.K. post-punk heroes IDLES.

Other highlights announced so far include standout Taiwanese indie band No Party for Caodong, breakout “Romantic Homicide” singer D4vd, Canadian rapper BBNO$, and Chinese singer/rapper Lexie Liu.


Following on from its sold-out three-day show back in March 2023, the 13th edition of the festival will feature a forward-thinking lineup showcasing a truly distinctive and diverse array of artists. From internationally acclaimed acts to regional and local gems, this lineup promises an unparalleled experience that cannot be found anywhere else in the world.

Showcasing the full, world-class festival experience that music fans in the city have come to know and love, December’s edition of Clockenflap will feature a spectacular outdoor environment featuring multiple stages, a tempting array of irresistible F&B outlets, and an eclectic lineup of must-see international, regional and local acts.



 
Best of Asia

The festival’s commitment to showcasing the region’s leading lights continues with a roster of acts that have helped put Asia on the musical map. Formed in Hebei in 1996, alternative rockers Omnipotent Youth Society are one of the most influential bands in the history of Chinese rock. This rare opportunity for fans in Hong Kong to see the band live is going to be made even more special as they are playing back-to-back with seminal Chinese punk band The Fly, with the lead singer and guitarist of Omnipotent Youth Society guesting with The Fly as they celebrate their 30th anniversary. 

Described as “generation-defining” by NME, Taiwanese indie rockers No Party For Cao Dong are set to be one of this year’s must-sees. Regarded by fans as the voice of a pessimistic generation of Taiwanese youth, the band surpassed singer-songwriter Jay Chou for most nominations during the 28th Golden Melody Awards, and dethroned Mandopop institution Mayday to win Best Band in the same run. Having released their highly anticipated sophomore album The Clod 瓦合 in 2023, their appearance at Clockenflap marks their first performance in Hong Kong since 2018. 

A big hit at Clockenflap in 2017, J-pop mavericks Wednesday Campanella will perform their energetic live show with new lead singer Utaha at the festival for the first time, Taiwan-based Hong Kong duo Running Youth make their Clockenflap debut with their distinctive blend of electronica and dreamy indie-pop, while Taipei-born, New York-based R&B chanteuse 9m88 returns to Clockenflap for the first time since her memorable set in 2018. Talented Chinese singer-songwriter Leah Dou makes a triumphant return to the Clockenflap stage to play at the festival for the first time since 2015.

So Hot Right Now

Showcasing artists that are riding the crest of a wave or set to explode is coded into Clockenflap’s DNA, and fans can look forward to seeing a succession of acts that are ready to ignite the global zeitgeist. American singer-songwriter Caroline Polachek has turned heads with her critically acclaimed 2023 album Desire, I Want to Turn Into You, and U.S. teen sensation D4vd is another hot talent who’s been making waves this year. High-energy Japanese girl group Atarashii Gakko! is destined to be one of the festival’s most-talked-about acts, while other highlights include American singer-songwriter Alex G, Chinese singer/rapper Lexie Liu, Welsh multi-instrumentalist Novo Amor and Canadian rapper singer and songwriter BBNO$.


Indie Trailblazers

Clockenflap has an unrivaled reputation for bringing the world’s top indie acts to Hong Kong, and this year is no different. Loved by critics and fans alike, IDLES are set to bring their ferocious live show to Central Harbourfront, as are fellow British post-punkers Squid. They’ll be joined by acclaimed U.K. alternative-indie band PREP, Yorkshire rockers Yard Act, and Canadian singer-songwriter Andy Shauf.


Music For Connoisseurs

Fans searching for something new or looking to satisfy their music geek tendencies will be spoiled for choice at the December 2023 edition of Clockenflap. China’s post-rock standard-bearers Wang Wen and U.S. post-rock veterans Caspian will be demonstrating why they’re considered masters of the genre. Beijing-based post-punk duo Gong Gong Gong are sure to win legions of new fans with their distinctive stripped-back sound, as will Japanese punk band Otoboke Beaver. And lovers of Japanese rock won’t want to miss the enduring envy, who has been hugely influential in the country’s post-hardcore, screamo, and post-rock scenes for more than 30 years.

 


Electrifying Electronica

As ever, Clockenflap will have an eclectic lineup of DJs and top electronic acts that are guaranteed to get the dancefloor rocking and your feet moving. Legendary DJ/producer and former Underworld member Darren Emerson makes his long-awaited Clockenflap debut, while Australian electro-house hellraisers Peking Duk returns to the festival for the first time since 2018. Other highlights include UK champions of bass-drenched slammers Deekline & Ed Solo, Berlin-based DJ/producer and owner of the 803 Crystal Grooves label Cinthie and Hong Kong-based classical and jazz violinist turned DJ/producer Xiaolin. 


Festival Favourites

Some acts are just made for festivals, with an uncanny ability to create magical moments that unite the crowd, and Clockenflap wouldn’t be Clockenflap without a few of those on the lineup. Tearaway troubadours Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls will be on hand to serve up their distinctive blend of indie, punk and folk, multi-award winning Korean traditional music group ADG7 are jetting in to deliver their unique fusion of folk and offbeat pop, and British-Taiwanese musician/producer Kamaal Williams will be blurring the boundaries between jazz, hip-hop, R&B and EDM.


Hong Kong Heroes

Showcasing the depth and breadth of the local indie scene, the festival welcomes cerebral local hip-hop collective Yack Studio for its debut live performance at the festival. Featuring members from both Hong Kong and Taiwan, Science Noodles captures the essence of old-school lo-fi with their dreamy songs and catchy hooks. Other local acts playing at the festival this year include producer DJ duo JVSY and dynamic composer/ Singer-Songwriter/ Music Producer Subyub Lee.

 


Ticketing Details

Tickets are available now, priced at HK$1,990 for three-day weekend tickets and HK$1,280 for single-day tickets. Children aged under three years old can attend the festival for free (pre-registration for children aged under three is not required). Children aged between three and 17 years old require their own tickets, which are priced at HK$1,580 for three-day weekend tickets and HK$880 for single-day tickets.

MOS Cafe Opens Their First Singapore Branch @ Raffles City

Since the first MOS Burger branch opened in Singapore, I've been a fan of their menu. Established in Tokyo, Japan and being a healthier choice compared to other fast food restaurants, this JPop crazy fan can never resist. I used to head over there after school to get myself a cup of corn soup, a yakiniku rice burger and a cup of ice milk tea to enjoy whilst chatting with my friends.

Even till now, I will still have my MOS Burger cravings every now and then. That's why, when I was invited to the opening of the very first Singapore's MOS Café @ Raffles City, I agreed to it immediately.


Do note, this is MOS Café, not a revamped MOS Burger restaurant!


Like any typical Japanese restaurant, you will find delicately crafted models of the recommended food samples exhibited in the display window to give you a preview of what's on their menu. I was already drooling even before I got in...

 

The cafe is refreshing space to step into and would make great place for some alone time, a break between shopping trips or even a day out with your BFFs. Spaciously designed and brightly lit space, the MOS Café embodies all 3 of its branding with soothing natural greens and wood:
  • ‘M’ mountain - To stand tall and firm like a mountain.
  • ‘O’ Ocean - To have a heart that is broad and deep as the ocean.
  • ‘S’ Sun - To have passion like the sun that never burns out. 


Stepping up on the "fresh" concept, the MOS Café menu utilizes lots of fresh vegetables and fruits and you will get to see them all on display at the counter together with the cakes and menu for easy reading and ordering.

I keep drumming and drumming on about the menu, so what's new?


Something special would be the Tortilla Salad. Thoughtfully using whole wheat flour tortillas as well as seven different kinds of vegetables and beans (corn, lettuce, onion, chickpeas, red beans,
and okra), packed together with the "instructions manual", even a lady can eat it daintily without having to spoil their gentle lady image. Not only will you not have the ingredients dropping everywhere, you can even have a bigger bite, by hiding behind the specially designed paper wrap.


The Wagyu Tower Burger is 15 layers tall to resemble the Tokyo Tower. Though it might be a challenge to eat this burger, but when you bite into the juicy wagyu beef patty, you will definitely be forgetting about your image. LOL!

Bun, lettuce, Wagyu beef patty, ketchup, ham, chili sauce, sliced red onion, tomatoes, Wagyu beef patty, cheese, mayonnaise, chopped onion, chili sauce, lettuce, bun.


For those hoping to look for a filling meal, you can also try their Rice Bowls. Available in Chicken and Avocado, Chicken Vegetables Curry and Wagyu Demi-Glace options, you will be able to bite into their fresh vegetable and freshly cut avocado. 

Using only the No.1 rice in Japan, Koshihikari Rice from Niigata Prefecture, you will definitely be going back for seconds.



The drinks are also not to be missed. Other than the usual milk tea, you should also try their specially created fruit drinks like the Special Fruit Tea, Citrus Soda Tea, Fruit Smoothie and Vegetable Smoothie. 


Of course, no meal is done without dessert. My favourite? Matcha Mini Parfait! Topped with Matcha ice cream, azuki bean paste and freshly cut fruits, this not-too-sweet dessert would be best shared with your loved ones.

The arrival of the MOS Café has definitely reignited my love for their healthier choice of food. I've already made a date with my BFFs to head back for another round, be sure to head on over soon! :)

Koda Kumi Asia Live 2015 - SWAG • ATTITUDE • INSPIRATION • ICON

YES!! That's non other than Koda Kumi  (倖田來未) herself!

15 years of experience in the entertainment industry has certainly shaped Koda Kumi to not only just an entertaining artist on stage but has also made her such a inspirational personality, as evident in her KODA KUMI ASIA LIVE 2015 (十五周年亞洲演唱會) concert at *SCAPE The Ground Theatre yesterday!


I'm in love with her swag style and her ever so cool personal style. Living up to the "Queen of Live” title, Koda Kumi captivated her fans over 2 hours with her powerful vocals and exciting dance moves and grooves!


Although there were glimpse of her cleavage-bearing style when she performed tracks like "House Party", "Puppin' Lov Cocktail" and "IS THIS TRAP?" , her true sexiness was for all to behold when she wore a beautiful golden evening grown singing "愛のうた", "Sometime Dreams Come True" and her 2015 single "WALK OF MY LIFE".


I also fell in love with that nude crystallized "bling bling" body hugging dress she was in when she sang "好きで 好きで 好きで " to a lucky fan who was picked among the crowd to be invited on stage. She really shone like the dress and definitely good at keeping that amazing figure! (P.S. Sorry we are unable share those photos)...


At the end of  Ku-chan encore performance where she performed songs like "Lady Go!", "WIND", "I'll be there", "Butterfly" and "LALALALALA", she gave a short Japanese speech, which was so inspiring in my opinion.
Your life is yours, don't let others' opinion sway your believe. If you think it's the right thing to do; have the WALK OF YOUR LIFE! 

YES! That's my girl! That's the attitude that first made me fall in love with her. YOU GO GIRL!!!!

I'm so excited to share with you that Koda Kumi , dubbed the “Queen of Live” for her powerful vocals and exciting dance, will be performing in Singapore for a 1 night only concert on 18th July at the *SCAPE The Ground Theatre!



Singapore is the one of the only two Asian countries where “Koda Kumi Asia Live 2015” will be held outside Japan!

I am so looking forward to her stunning performance as well as the powerful direction that Koda had put on during her nationwide arena tour "Koda Kumi 15th Anniversary Live Tour 2015 ~WALK OF MY LIFE~, supported by Mercedes-Benz” that was held in Japan recently.

Best of all,  for the show, like in Taiwan, the fans in Singapore will be given the premium treat of catching Koda’s perfomance in an intimate setting!
