Introduce More Value To Your Prints With The Fuji Xerox Color 1000i Press Gold & Silver Dry Inks

| |
Hi Huneybees,

My life is finally no more just about CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black) with the all new Fuji Xerox Color 1000i Press! All thanks to this amazing industry production printer, you can have your name cards, greeting cards, calendars, mailers, flyers, etc, printed with Gold and Silver Dry Inks!

Yes, though having gold and silver printed on your products is already available in the market, but now with the dry inks instead of the usual foils, the gold and silver can shine through and reflect light better than the unevenly shaped toner particles like in the past. Check out this Chinese New Year decoration printed with the Fuji Xerox Color 1000i Press!

So, how does this Gold and Silver Dry Inks work?

At Fuji Xerox, a reflective pigment is created by adapting the Emulsion Aggregation (EA) method used to produce toner, thereby succeeding in developing Gold and Silver Dry Inks that are capable of the energy-efficient, low-temperature fusing achievable with EA-Eco Toner while having a high sheen.

With the conventional pulverization method, the toner particles are unevenly shaped and are not oriented consistently. Also, the conventional toner particles had pigment particles that were not completely contained within the toner particles and protruded outside, resulting in image defects due to insufficient charging and transfer defects from electricity leakage caused by the protruding pigment, causing it to be difficult for this toner to be used with the xerographic system.

Therefore, the EA method is here to orient the reflective pigment in the same direction to develop ellipsoid-shaped ink particles that can fully contain the pigment particles, allowing the toner to meet both the basic performance requirements of toners as well as the performance requirements for metallic printing.

This opaque, reflective pigment lets the highly metallic ink appear strongly against all coloured paper and media (including media that already has printed text, colored paper, and transparent film), without having the under-based colour show through.

During the media launch, Daniel Kwinter (Director of INGENIOUS DESIGN Pte. Ltd.) also shared that with this new technology, how the Gold and Silver Dry Inks can change the way we perceive the values of these 2 colours when used in printing and packaging.

Combined with CMYK, the Fuji Xerox Color 1000i Press offers businesses more marketing options, as well as to increase sales with such a high class and seasonal look.

The Fuji Xerox Color 1000i Press also offers the printing productivity of 100 prints per minute with media as thick as 350g/m, coming readily equipped with Full Width Array, which automates printing adjustments (color calibration, front and back alignment).

Using the FreeFlow Print Server and EX Print Server Powered by Fiery, digital data is able to be processed at higher speeds than the previous model thanks to the server's redesigned hardware and software, ensuring faster processing of high volume and variable data.

So, if your company is looking to expand printing options together with your creative designs, maybe you can opt for the Fuji Xerox Color 1000i Press. I bet they will be adding much more fun and impression to your portfolio like these 3D paper goats Fuji Xerox had prepared for Chinese New Year!

Catching The Breathtaking Cavalia: A Magical Encounter Between Man and Horse On Its Opening Night In Singapore

| |
Hi Huneybees,

It was great joy as I caught Cavalia: A Magical Encounter Between Man and Horse on its opening day. It was beyond my imagination with its beautiful play on fast and slow beat action with an affectionate play on human and horse interaction. Although there was not much story between each scene, the picturesque setting was enough to take my breath away....

From the moment the lights come on, the pair of white horses come running out amidst the multiple horse toys on the ground, you are already on a visual journey to see how human interact with horses through the countries and era.

This hybrid cross show of acrobats/aerialists in spectacular costumes, a live band, a vocal powerhouse female singer together with 50 horses with beautifully choreographed story against a constantly changing digital background projected onto a 60 metre-wide screen, seduced me and kept me on the edge of my seat.

It was exhilarating as everyone cheered the acrobats on as they challenged gravity defying stunts, as well as for the horses as they galloped like the wind and  responding to their riders. One interesting fact is that the show revolves around the horses, even the music played by the live band reacts with the horses actions.

They are free to express themselves and being trained through the Liberty style, their riders can communicate with them through body language, leading and positioning them in a creative and bonding way. No 2 shows are the same and each experience is unique.

I have a few favourite scenes, one being the one performed by Fairland Ferguson.  She stole the show as she performed daredevil acts while balancing on the backs of horses multiple galloping at full speed. Little known is that this inspiration behind the animation Brave’s Princes Merida was told that she couldn't walk again when she broke 46 of her bones (including 23 to her face, eight ribs, both arms and both legs) on break from university falling 25m from the top of a cliff at Smith Mountain Lake in Virginia.

This scene was nerve wrecking as different horses come out from 2 opposite directions as their riders play a games of scarf throwing and picking up. The riders would get down whilst riding their horses in different positions to pick up the scarves on the floor, giving the term fast and furious a whole new meaning!

Another favourite has got to be the last few moments when the sun sets and the mountain comes into play, the white horses, ridden by riders dressed in soft flowing costumes, lined up on the stage and gallop around as though it’s a walk into J.R. Tolkien's world of Elves on their playful break with their horses, as a pool of water magically fills up to sand pit, creating such a surreal visual sensation....

It was such a spectacular show and the connection between Man and horse is simply magical. I shall leave you with a short snippet of what to expect during the show. Do come on down to this White Theatre Tent soon to catch Cavalia: A Magical Encounter Between Man and Horse!
