[What's New] The All New Whisper Cosmo

| |
Hi Huneybees,

Whisper, a name that everyone knows has recently launched an all new revolutionary range of sanitary pads. They were the first ones to come up with sanitary pads with wings and new with the Whisper COSMO, it's set to set a new bar in sanitary pads.

Whisper took 20 years to perfect Whisper COSMO so we ladies can enjoy 360 degree freedom of movement. I have to got try it and I'm loving! At the event launch, I was already sold, so when I got home, I tried it as I went to gym (yes, just nice, it was that time of the month). It is amazingly light and flexible, and it stayed dry and soft throughout the session. You know how sometimes the overflow is so scary looking?

Well, because of the Lactoflex, a breakthrough innovation by Whisper, it's soft and thin and everything is quickly absorbed, leaving just a dot on the surface. Phew!

Lactoflex
It is foam-like and it absorbs 3X more to prevent leakages. The bi-layered structure allows for rapid absorption and storage to keep you fresh.

They did a demonstration on the spot to prove the 3D fit to body. True to its promise, Whisper Cosmo managed to absorb liquid flowing from any angle! Brand X failed in absorption and most of the liquid ended on the table.

The launch of Whisper Cosmo was brilliantly launched with aerial yoga at Upside Motion. Together with an introduction of their ambassador - Felicia Chin. Promising 360 degree freedom of movement from the pads, you don't even have to fear being hung upside down!

At the event, I also met Michelle whom I've not met for a long time and it was great to catch up with her. Also thanks for her "modelling" for my pictures while she does the aerial yoga. :)

Grab your Whisper Como at leading supermarkets and pharmacies! Prices range from $6.50 to $8.90. Available in 24, 27 and 30cm.

Hi Huneybees,

Ground Zero had a soft launch back in July. Owned by MediaCorp celebrity show host Lee Teng, the store carries street cultured apparels, eyewear and watches. And on 19th September, Ground Zero launched theJelly Beanz line from  Korean fashion sunglasses brand SNRD (Second Round).

SNRD, one of the most popular Korean fashion sunglasses brand are famous for it’s unique shape with a wide range of color lenses and frames that have wooed fans of all ages and have become a fashion statement in Korea.

Attended the event with fellow blogger, Michelle Fei. I can't decide between the orange and the pink pair. Which one should I get?

To celebrate the release of the new series, Ground Zero held a launch party and invited several well-known local artistes and VIP customers,  including Lee Mei Ling, Ian Fang, Ya-Hui, Jae Liew, Jeffrey Xu Mingjie, Felicia Chin, Jayley Woo, Jeremy and so on.

With Boss man himself - Lee Teng
The decision to open another store was actually spurred by his desire to display all the toys that he has spent thousands on collection. Being at the heart of Orchard Road, having Ground Zero at *Scape also reflected his interested in the street and underground culture, and his great passion in dance.

Ground Zero’s philosophy is ‘Zero is the beginning of all, and the compromise of none”. “Zero is the beginning of all; for that, we will challenge ourselves to establish a brand with a strong identity of its own, providing a series of finest products in the apparel industry”. Ground Zero will have weekly launches of its limited edition lines with 20 pieces of shirts, and at most 10 pieces of hats, so as to enhance the exclusive factor.

Besides the sale of SNRD eyewear, Ground Zero also brings in apparels such as AES from well-known Taiwanese Artist, Alien Huang, South Korean sports and leisure backpack, T-LEVEL, Italian branded watches, Vabene as well as Kams bracelet from a local designer.

The Taiwanese brand, AES, was established in 2008 by Taiwanese writer, show-host and singer Alien Huang otherwise known as Xiao Gui (黃鴻升), and carries very limited and rare male clothing and are known for the skull images as well as heavy metal and street culture influence. The apparels are extremely exclusive and rare – sometimes even only releasing one piece a week!

T-Level (Technologic-level) is a Korean brand that designs backpacks and waist bags inspired by the diversity of urban lifestyle to project an urban attitude along with a unique individual charisma. It is designed to provide utmost comfort, functionality and practicality for its users while still keeping designs trendy and charismatic.

Born from the brains of Giorgio Grimoldi, the Vabene brand is cultivated and refined with the family passion to create timepieces of brilliance and distinction. With each new collection Giorgio confirms his place among those rare aesthetic talents who repeatedly captures the spirit of the times while anticipating and incorporating just enough of the future to enthral a devoted clientele.

”Vabene embodies a funky, ironic, colourful and highly glamorous universe. The name reflects an approach to life that is typically Italian, one that runs through the entire project. Its basic values are those of design, innovation, creativity, sophistication, style and originality. Above all, fun!”  --- Giorgio Grimoldi

Adorned by celebrities, KAMS bracelet's signature is the big beady bracelet with the crystal studded charms...

Ground Zero is located in *Scape, right next to STAGE:

Ground Zero’s official opening will be held on 28th September at 2pm with the appearance of Alien Huang. Do drop by to check it out!

First Ever Non-Denim Levi's 501 Collection

| |
Hi Huneybees,

Last weekend, I was at ION Orchard for the Levi's 501 Interpretation - Celebrity Interpretation. It was to celebrate 140 years of the iconic Levi’s jeans and the event was graced by Felicia Chin, Tosh Zhang, Ya Hui & Ian Fang. They showcased their Levi’s 501 interpretation in a fashion parade, as well as a style up for the 8 DAYS Shirtless Guys based on their personal style interpretation, using Levi’s 501 jeans.

Attended the event with hubby and we right before the show, we got an opportunity to grab a picture with the celebs. On them are the latest Spring/Summer 2013 collection, a non-denim Levi’s 501 collection for the first time. Breaking with tradition, yet maintaining the product’s true essence and timeless spirit, the three-piece non-denim collection is available in true chino, chalk blue and mineral red. The brand will also unveil the next generation in Levi’s 501 jeans, which feature subtle and thoughtful changes to the design aesthetic, tailoring the product for the pioneers of today.

In the midst of playing games with the audience and fashion shows, the next generation of Levi’s 501 jeans and non-denim pants did it's magic on the stage too. The celebs wearing them had a slightly tighter silhouette, more comfort around the waist (Come on! Tosh, even breakdance in it!).

The latest jeans will feature slightly larger pockets to store your latest smart phone, and have a shallower yoke for a cleaner aesthetic. They also feature stronger stitching and reinforced belt loops, inseams, buttonholes and cuffs. Craftsmanship and authenticity remain at the forefront, which is why Levi’s 501 jeans also improve with age – molding to the contours of the wearers body overtime and creating a bespoke fit and finish for this perfect classic and timeless jeans.

So, it was time for the 8 DAYS shirtless guys to get dressed, who do you think won? Which celeb did a good job?

See the hunks getting mobbed is dang farni...

Ready? Here for the answer...

Yup! The cutey that Ya Hui dressed up won.

So, that's a wrap. But do check out this contest that Levi's is running...
