Dell - A Brand Of Tech That Even Ant-Man and The Wasp Trust In

If you have caught the Marvel Studios' "Ant-Man and The Wasp", did you spot the Dell devices that they use in their efforts to fight crime? Well, from Ant-Man's and The Wasp's suits to Hank Pym's lab, you can see Dell playing a big part in the technology department.

This is not just a sponsorship stunt, Dell's involvement in the movie making also extends behind the scenes, where Dell hardware is used in creating the magnificent visual effects in the film. Marvel Studios enlisted VFX vendors, several of which utilized a breadth of Dell technologies, including Dell EMC PowerEdge servers, and Dell Precision workstations, as the core infrastructure to provide the immense computing power and storage capacity necessary for visual effects designers to bring the movie’s characters and places to live.

Among others, artists at the VFX studio DNEG, who worked on Marvel Studios’ “Ant-Man and The Wasp,” rely on Dell Precision workstations for front-end operations. Dell’s Precision line is a leader in the industry, allowing creators to edit and create new storytelling methods. In the company’s Vancouver studio alone, more than 300 Dell Precision workstations are used to create compelling effects. Imagine an adrenaline-fueled car chase through San Francisco, moments of Ant-Man and The Wasp shrinking, or an intricate lab scene featuring Ghost phasing in and out of walls – technologies from Dell help make these ideas reality.

That also leads us to the introduction of the new Dell G series, that made several cameo appearances in the movie.

The new Windows 10 Gaming PC - Dell G3 15 and Dell G7 15 laptops are here to deliver gaming solutions for players of all levels and at an affordable price. They are equipped with powerful NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10-Series GPUs, 8th Gen Intel Core Processors, Thermal Management solutions, Intelligent Content Prioritisation software, Anti-Glare IPS Panels and other individual add ons for gamers to be fully immersed in their games.

Both laptops may seem pretty light and slim, but definitely "strong" enough to support any type of gaming. I tried playing Tomb Raider on them at the launch event, it was very smooth, no lagging or jerking, I think they make good companions for heavy duty works.

DELL's New Exclusive Store at Plaza Singapura Invites You To Augment Reality

DELL today announced the opening of its new concept DELL Exclusive Store at Plaza Singapura. As Funan DigitaLife Mall has closed, this new store is replacing the store that was previously there. The store takes on a minimalist interior design, so as to draw the focus on their array of consumer devices.

The new store features experience suites with DELL’s latest XPS, Inspiron and Alienware portfolio, including award-winning products from the 2016 Consumer Electronics Show and the recent Computex 2016 in Taiwan. There's tons for you to try them hands on and in addition to it, there's a special highlight too!

There's a VR-experience zone for customers to immerse in virtual reality gaming using Alienware’s new VR-optimized products that were recently announced at the E3 in Los Angeles. *Local availability of the products will be announced in the coming months.

Dell reopened their Dell Exclusive Store at Funan DigitaLife Mall on 16th May 2013, following an intensive make-over to deliver a new, refreshed concept store that sports simpler, contemporary yet bolder interior designs.

 

Aimed at creating a more consistent global brand and shopping experience for its customers, the new look takes on a distinctive customer-centric approach, complete with experience suites that allow customers to experience technology as they would in real life. The Funan store is the first Dell Exclusive Store in the world to adopt the company’s new global retail brand guidelines.
