Tiger Beer’s Biggest Party of 2012

| |
Hi Huneybees,

Ok! I know it's already 2013, but let me backtrack a little to a party I attended on 23 December 2012. Singapore’s internationally acclaimed Tiger Beer hosted its biggest party of the year at the F1 Pit Building.

The party was organised as a culmination of Tiger Beer’s tongue-in-cheek “Have You Been Good This Year?” festive campaign, where Singaporeans were asked to share, in the most fun and creative ways, how they have been good this year. Fans with the best entries were rewarded with exclusive passes to the event.

I love this phone booth! Reminds me of TARDIS from Dr Who!!

“Tiger Beer set out to encourage Singaporeans to not take themselves too seriously by engaging them in a fun and personal way with this festive campaign. We are delighted to have received thousands of creative entries, each with their own unique reason on why they have been good this year. This campaign has enabled our Tiger Beer fans to indulge in the holiday spirit with a night of great beer and music at our biggest festive party to date." --- Mr Rene de Monchy, Head of Marketing, Asia Pacific Breweries Singapore.
Me and hubby at the event...
Amazing light works the moment we arrived at the event.

Guests were reveled to the pumping sounds of sets performed by prominent local music personalities, including Singapore rapper Kevin Lester, DMC Champion DJ KoFlow and DJ duo Fingerscroxxed.

Kicking off the party was DJ KoFlow, who warmed up the decks with his signature scratch vibe and hip hop beats. Together with Kevin Lester, the duo took the crowd by storm with fresh beats that were played at their recent tour in Atlanta and New York City.

Newly-formed DJ duo Fingerscroxxed, consisting of veteran DJ Nomsta and Amanda Ling (ex-member of local group Electrico), also performed their debut set with a stellar mix filled with electro dance music and visuals to dazzle the crowd.

Major PARTY time!!!

1 September 2012 - Last Day to Catch the Night Festival 2012

Hi Huneybees,

Tomorrow is the last day to catch the Night Festival 2012. I just passed by the Singapore Arts Museum and there was huge crowd still even at 12 midnight! So make it a date tomorrow to catch the Night Festival 2012!

La Argentina.
The beautiful performers of Corredoras.
31th August 2012, Singapore – Some of the best of local and international contemporary acts enthralled the public with spectacular collaborations, as National Heritage Board (NHB) presented the final weekend of Night Festival 2012 tonight.

Corredoras - Performers leaping through the air against a silver-foiled curtain as part of the Corredoras performance by Fuerzabruta.
Night Festival was brought to a new high with Fuerzabruta, presented by Argentina’s Ozono Producciones. Three dazzling, never-seen-before acts in Singapore captivated the audience as performers danced and teased them in mid-air.

Mylar - Audiences interacting with the dancer through the suspended membrane of water as part of the Mylar performance at the Night Festival.

Like graceful water fairies, dancers in Mylar slid across a suspended transparent water-filled membrane that is 15 metres long. In Corredoras, two thespians somersaulted and chased each other across silver ribbons of curtains, like dandelion seeds in the wind.

At SMU Green, the public was treated to an evening of powerpop, dance beats, beatboxing and cross-genre with HOMEMADE, a segment by a group of local musicians who have come together to offer the audience a taste of local talent. HOMEMADE is headlined by Shelves, The Great Spy Experiment, DJ Koflow, Kiat, Beatboxer Dharni, Bruk Braders, Kevin Lester and Bloco Singapura.

The Night Festival took place on 24th & 25th August, and will be putting on its final show tomorrow, 1st September 2012, at the Bras Basah.Bugis Arts and Heritage Precinct. Armenian Street will be closed tomorrow from 8pm to 2am, for the performances.

Hot Bods at Maybelline Party - New (York) Me!

Hi Huneybees,

Last weekend was non-stop party and one of which was Maybelline's New (York) Me! Party at Zouk.
There was fashion shows by Forever 21, makeovers by Chapter 2 and yes yes yes, super hot bods on the stage. It was "boiling hot" in Zouk and we definitely had a great time!

Put on your best face(book look) and put yourself out there at New (York) Me!, the very first of Maybelline NY’s upbeat downtown raves for the brave and the beautiful. Expect billboard-worthy looks from Maybelline NY, traffic-stopping fashion from Forever 21, networking opps that can catapult you from small town to big city in a heartbeat ‘n’ a tweet… If you can make it here, you can make it anywhere. So make it!
Getting in, we were treated to Soyato Ice Cream. *Yummy*
Choose to queue for a makeover, but I opted to go find my friends...

Dangling legs from the ceiling. Feels kinda creepy though...

Host for the night was none other than Rozz (from 987fm) herself.
Fashion Show (A) - Chic, ready for work and play with bold eyeliners.

Amazing rapper, Kevin Lester from SIXX (above) and  DJ KoFlow (Bottom) rocked the stage.

Bring in the hot sexy dancers. *Melt*

OMG!!!! I got the best view!

Fashion Show (B) - Flaunt your colours, be bold, be wild....
There was even live demostration of makeup on the runway by Marcus. Totally never seen before!

Rozz having a little short interview with Marcus.
Marcus doing a demonstration to show how easy it is to create smoky eyes.
All he used was his fingers to smudge the black eyeshadow.
Crimp the lashes and prep for mascara.

A little lip gloss.
And Voila! See how sweet the model looked?!

Founder and editor in chief of NYLON magazine, Marvin Scott Jarrett, was in town...

Fashion Show (C) -Hold on to your seats as the girls and gys bare it all! (ok lah, quite a bit of skin flashing).

When the boys came on stage, the girls in the audience were super high...

Not to fret guys, the female models were va-va-voom as well...

Great show Maybelline and Forever 21! Lova ya all!

Thanks for the great company too babes!

So glad I caught up with Marcus, took a pic with him and we chatted a little about makeup.
A sweet tip from Maybelline before I sign off...
