More Reasons to Play #HuntTheMouse - The World’s Simplest S$1m Cash Hunt in Singapore

From 10 October to 9 November  2024, Singapore will host #HuntTheMouse, the world's simplest and largest million-dollar cash hunt. Now in its fifth year, #HuntTheMouse takes the prize pool to an unprecedented S$1,000,000 - up from S$100,000 last year - with a grand prize of S$500,000.

Adding to the excitement, the number of silver coins hidden around the island has tripled, rising from 100 in 2023 to 300 this year. Over 30 days, one S$500,000 gold coin and 300 silver coins valued at S$2,500 and S$500 will be progressively hidden across Singapore. Here’s the breakdown:

• 1 x S$500,000 gold coin
• 175 x S$2,500 silver coins
• 125 x S$500 silver coins

Participation in #HuntTheMouse is free and open to both Singapore residents and tourists. Hunters are encouraged to follow the game website for hints and use the real-time map to be the first to locate and claim their cash prizes.

This year, the game launches four new power-up features on top of the existing Crystals to help hunters get ahead:

1. Coin Sonar – This power-up feature allows hunters to scan the area around them to zoom in to a more precise location for a silver coin, and provides instant feedback on whether the silver coin is within their selected range.
2. Metal Detector - In beta, hunters can activate this power-up feature when inside any silver coin circle to turn their phone into a metal detector. This feature scans the surrounding vicinity for one minute and provides visual feedback on the proximity to the coin as the hunter moves around.
3. Beacon – Any player can unlock this feature by completing specific brand actions. The Beacon can then be placed anywhere on the map, allowing all players within one kilometre radius to enjoy discounted power-up usage for ten minutes.
4. Pedometer – Promoting active lifestyle and healthy living, the pedometer tracks step count while on the hunt! Players will also be rewarded with Crystals for hitting specific step counts through daily missions.

Hints

Hunters can get visual hints on a real-time map on the game website to locate the coins. Hints for the gold coin will be posted daily on Sqkii’s Facebook, Instagram, and Telegram channels from day one. Circles on the in-game map, which indicate possible silver coin locations, will shrink between 15 to 60 minutes intervals. The real-time map will also eliminate improbable gold coin locations three times a day at 10am, 2pm, and 6pm daily.

Getting Ahead in the Game

Hunters can also perform brand actions by partners and participating merchants listed on the game website to earn Crystals and make use of the new power-up features to get ahead in the game. For those hunting for the gold coin, these Crystals can be used to obtain more gold coin hints and eliminate gold coin locations. As for the silver coins, the Crystals can also be used to shrink silver coin circles and activate the Coin Sonar or the Metal Detector to narrow down selected silver coin location to give them a competitive advantage over others.

3 Simple Gyoza Recipe That You Can Try Today

Today is the last day to join the CP Singapore #CPCreativeGyoza Contest and I'm so glad hubby and I managed to get our recipes and videos done in time. Have you managed to share yours too? If you need a refresher on the terms & conditions, click here.

Contest or not, we also wana share these recipes with you Huneybees, so that you can prepare for your family to try. It's easy and we think gyoza fans of all ages will love them. There are 3 types of CP Gyoza sold in the supermarket (Pork and Chicken Gyoza with Chive, Pork and Chicken Gyoza with Suki Sauce and Chicken Gyoza) and we came up with 3 different recipes to pair with each "flavour".

I'm especially a fan of the Breaded Gyoza. You guys can try give them a try and let us know which one you like best.

With Italian cuisine - Ravioli in mind, we paired the Pork and Chicken Gyoza with Chive together with Carbonara Sauce. Rain: The Best Show

Rain: The Best Show will be making its television premiere on Celestial Movies before any other channel in the world. With a budget of over US$3 million, the concert was shot in 3D (although it will be broadcasted in 2D) and is a culmination of Rain’s greatest hits from his 10-year career as an artist and superstar. The concert was recorded on 25th September, 2011 at Seoul’s Olympic Park Gymnastics Stadium during the last stop of his world tour.

This was Rain’s final concert performance before his enlistment into South Korean military last year. He will not be able to perform commercially until the completion of his service term in July 2013. As such, the TV debut of Rain: The Best Show will be the only opportunity for fans in Singapore to relive and indulge in Rain’s suave and electrifying persona during the concert at this point in time.

Rain: The Best Show – Singapore Special

As the first TV channel in the world to broadcast this latest concert of Rain, Celestial Movies will be giving out 15 sets of Rain: The Best Show photobook that are exclusively produced for Singapore only. The photobook will feature never-seen-before Rain: The Best Show photographs. To top it off, each photobook will have one personalized picture at its last page, rendering each of the 15 sets exclusive to each individual winner.
