In celebration of Fashion Steps Out 2013, 313@Somerset presents Fashion Your Own Runway Show@313.

Auditions will be held in search for fashion aficionados with an keen eye for style during the Spring Stylist Search. Trendy individuals will get to showcase their styling talents during the Spring Runway Show. This will culminate in the Grand Final on 27 April, where participants will work with Elle Stylist Steve Thio to

compete for a chance to become the first 313@somerset Spring Stylist winner.

Starting from 29 March to 4 April, shoppers who wish to participate in our Spring Stylist Search will have to team up in pairs and submit a picture of themselves in their most stylish spring looks to

313somerset@lendlease.com OR elle_contest@Mediacorp.com.sg (Subject header “313@somerset Spring Stylist Search”).

On 7 April, 12 teams will be shortlisted and given a chance to style the mannequins, working with a selection of the latest Spring 2013 collections available at 313@Somerset. 6 teams will be chosen to enter the Grand Final on 14 April, where they will have to pick the clothes from participating retailers in 313@Somerset and compete under time pressure by dressing the mannequins in fashionable outfits. 

Spring Stylist hopefuls will work with professional stylist, Steve Thio, to dress models who will hit the catwalk on a glamorous runway show, bringing style interpretations to life. The winning team will walk away with $1,000 worth of shopping vouchers and a year’s worth of ELLE Magazine subscriptions each.

On 12 May, the overall winner (determined by voters) to be the best portrayal of Spring fashion and garnering the highest number of votes will win $300 worth of 313 shopping vouchers and bragging rights. 3  random voters will also win $30 worth of 313 shopping vouchers.

Spring Rejuvenation Workshop

4 May 2013, 2pm (Open to all shoppers) & 4pm (Exclusive to CLUB313 members)

Shoppers who spend $300 can sign up for a wardrobe workshop conducted by a prominent fashion stylist on 4 May, imparting tips and tricks on how to create a fabulous line up of outfits by pairing old with new! Registration will be available at the Concierge Desk at B1 from 29 April onwards. With the qualifying spend period from 29 March to 26 April. CLUB313 members only need to spend $250 to qualify. Seat availability is limited to only 30 people per session so hurry and register!

Spend & Redeem Promotions

From 28 March to 18 April, those who charge a minimum of $300 to their MasterCard® can redeem $30 worth of 313 vouchers. This is limited to the first 100 shoppers per week on a first come first served basis. From 19 April to 12 May, those who charge a minimum of $300 to their MasterCard® can redeem $30 worth of 313 vouchers, on a first-come first-served basis.

Tring 313 users are entitled to a $10 313 voucher when they spend $120 at any 313 outlet from 29 March to 12 May. Shoppers must download the Tring 313 iPhone app, download the exclusive Spend & Redeem coupon, and present together with receipts at the Concierge Desk at B1. Limited to 100 shoppers per week.

CLUB313 Extravaganza – You are invited!‏

I was invited to 313@Somerset recently to experience what it feels to be a CLUB313 member. At the CLUB313 Extravaganza, an atrium fair was held from Feb 28 to Mar 3 for shoppers to get a sneak peek into the many exciting workshops and the exclusive privileges that await the CLUB313 members.

What is CLUB313?
CLUB313 is a loyalty programme for shoppers of 313, and their theme is More rewards, more recognition, more experiences, more surprises. In layman terms, instead of just awarding points, the mall has decided to reward its shoppers with experience-based items instead. 

When I arrived at the event, there was already a Horoscope talk going on. So I went ahead to explore the other booths. There were 5 booths set up and the first one that attracted me was the special previews of limited edition footwear from L.E. Way, one of 313′s tenants.

The Adidas Poodle shoe was the one that attracted me. Costing at $289, will you get it?

The next station was a nail art tutorial booth by Summer Nails. We could choose from 3 designs and I chose to learn how to draw the flowers. Actually it wasn't as difficult as it looks!

Yipee! I finished up my nail tip and it's so simple to do! Just 5 mins!!!

There was also a Wine Appreciation Booth by Straits Wine Company but seriously is the 2 cute guys that's selling! *Oops*

For the J-fans, there was a sushi making workshop by Umisushi. Those interested can also sign up for their workshops on 20 April and 4 May ($65 nett per pax incl. lunch). More details can be done by contact Umisushi at 6448 8865 / marketing@umisushi.com.sg .

And finally, my favourite! A booth with Etude House for an eye makeup touchup. As well as tips sharing with the makeup artist...

Vote For The Winners of Fall Fashion Campaign Happening At 313@Somerset & Stand To Win Vouchers!

As September slowly creeps away, the fashion style slowly changes to Fall collections and at 313@somerset, an inaugural mystery hunt began for the next cover model of a leading lifestyle magazine - CATALOG.

‘Are You Our Next Cover Model’
From September 7 - 9, live “mannequins” were planted at 313@somerset and along Orchard Road to spot and select males and females between 18 – 28 years old that showcase cover model personality and qualities.

The 12 chosen frontrunners enjoyed the privilege of a complimentary fashion consultation with an appointed fashion stylist for their hair and make-up on September 19 and 20. Additionally, a photo shoot was also conducted for all 12 finalists on September 21 and 22, after which they will have an opportunity to strut their stuff on an exclusive runway show on October 7, where one male and one female cover model will be crowned.

The winners will walk away with a cover page model contract for a leading lifestyle magazine and attractive prizes and 313 shopping vouchers worth $1000. Shoppers will play a part in selecting the winners as they can vote for their favorite male and female cover looks via the 313 Facebook page, from September 26 - October 6. Three lucky voters will each stand to win 313 shopping vouchers worth $100. Shoppers at the mall will also get a closer look at cover looks of the 12 finalists through a photo panel display from October 1- 6 and cast their votes for their top two favourite looks.

‘Bid me a Cover Look’
In conjunction with the Cover Model Search, 313@somerset is also organising a ‘Bid me a Cover Look’ fashion auction which will be held at 313’s Level 1 Atrium on September 29 and 30 at 2pm, 4pm and 6pm daily. Those who aspire to don a cover model ensemble can experience a unique fashion event where shoppers can pick out a runway-ready outfit from six “live” mannequins – four stunning female models and two saucy male models. All shoppers can participate in the auction bidding process by signing up at the registration booth at 313 Atrium on both days.

‘Sure-Win Fashion Spin’
From September 7 – October 14, shoppers can have a go at the sure-win fashion spin to receive over $20,000 worth of food and shopping vouchers when they spend a minimum of $150 (Maximum of 3 same-day receipts) at any 313 outlet.

With each spin, the shopper is also entitled a chance to win the new iPad (worth $958) in their lucky draw on October 15. This is limited to the first 80 shoppers per day on a first-come-first-served basis, one spin (i.e. One redemption) per shopper per day. CLUB313 members, who meet the minimum spend for the 313 Fashion Spin, are guaranteed one spin per day. They will also receive double chances at the lucky draw.
