Last but not least are also these shiny blinged up sneakers from Colors Of California. I'm loving in particular the black high cut sneakers with bright pink, stand out graphic of a stiletto. It's like having the best of both worlds of wearing a pair of stylish high heels, and having the comfort of a sneaker.
ton has opened its doors at Orchard Gateway. It is a a concept store that sets itself as a dominator of
trend. Originated from a French word, it means prevailing fashion or simply, being in a constant state of fashion.
The store is kept simple with hues of grey to show off those colourful pieces of accessories. The logo is designed with simple strong circles and lines and it is located across the store, from bold on the floor to narrow on the wall for an optical illusion to naturally draw one’s line of sight into the space.
You can find Roberta Pieri here (that was featured in the runways of Audi Fashion Festival 2014) alongside other international brands like Claes Goran, Stephane Verdino, La Tenace and Nomination Italy. There is a mix of stylish bags, footwear and accessories that will accompany you on every occasion, blending fashion with durability and quality.
The multi coloured printed bags from Roberta Pieri stood out the most in the shop. Lots of ladies were "snapping" them up and I picked a few of my favourites to show ya. Not forgetting the super airtight packaging of each bag. It makes it so easy to travel with, you can easily pack them in your luggage and you can have different bags to match your outfits on every trip overseas!
And speaking of travelling, there's Builford, a brand that's been around for 100 years.. The bags are made from 'Wax Wear' - wax canvas material that was created for hard working labor, in strong and tough environments like hunting, canoe, exploration, or in environments requiring waterproof functions against humidity or water.
Pair the bags with Claes Goran shoes. For designer Claes Göran, he don't see the need for shoes to run a marathon, jump high or climb a mountain. He is not a hip-hopper and don’t ride skateboards, what he needed was a pair of nice, cheeky everyday shoes, without signalling accountants, athletes, design
geeks or outdoor types, and perhaps most important of all, avoiding the predominant explosion of colours and patterns.
So, the simple pair of trainers are born. They combine the utility of work shoes with good comfort.
You can also find Stephane Verdino’s bags in the store. His minimalist, leather creations are all created with the same spirit of rejecting the superfluous, no lining with usage of raw materials. The bags are pretty playful and redefines "arm candy", adding colours to your daily outfit. Psst, the brand is the same age as me! No wonder I had a connection with the bags, kept going back to that same orange bag the whole night!
