J.Lindeberg Concept Store Opening Party @ Suntec City

| |
Hi Huneybees,

J.Lindeberg opened its doors at the all new store in Suntec City this August. Together with the opening party, we also previewed their AW13 Men's Collection during the opening party. Hubby sure had a fun time shopping that night as this was his favourite brand when it comes to golf clothings...

Inspired by the Stockholm City Library (by Erik Gunnar Asplund), the collection fuses modern details with elements of traditional tailoring for a look that is rooted in modernity. The colour palette is formed around the rich colours found within the interior of the library; the traditional library desk lamps, contrasted with intense burgundy, deep plum tones and saturated reds. Intense blues and midnight navy complete the colour spectrum, with reference to the dark library interior, accompanied with flashes of gold and silver through metal detailing and hardware.

This season's collection sees structured shapes, colours and patterns inspired by the staircase or exquisite windows found within the library. The sculptured and fitted tailoring makes the male models look so sharp and smart!

Ladies, fret not. They also have Golf Wear for the Women too! I bet after seeing those pieces, you would wana get a few pieces for yourself, even though you are not a golf player...

J.Lindeberg’s Celebrity Spokesperson and MediaCorp artiste - Tay Ping Hui also graced the event, drawing even more crowd to the store.

About J.Lindeberg
Founded 1996 in Stockholm by Johan Lindeberg with a vision to  challenge the establishment of the fashion and golf industry through an anti-conformist and rebellious business idea.
 J.Lindeberg was created as an
affordable alternative to designer luxury brands and was a pioneer in the new contemporary premium market offering fashion forward  products, lifestyle focused marketing and effective PR.

The conservative golf industry was dominated by shapeless clothing, cotton fabrics and mass market sportswear. J.Lindeberg started a  modern movement in golf by introducing real fashion into the
game, a slimmer silhouette and technical performance fabrics, treating golfers as stylish athletes. The game has since then never looked the same.

In 2010, J.Lindeberg launched a modern luxury ski collection, offering  the best performance fabrics available but with a tailored fit and  fashion forward designs, offering a product and a look not before available in the ski market.

Since 2012, the new private owners of J.Lindeberg, led by  Co CEOs Stefan Engström and Kristian Vinther, have embarked on an aggressive growth plan to further expand the brand in Europe,  North America and Asia.

J.Lindeberg is today established as a leading International Fashion House with its men’s and women’s fashion and sports collections available  in over 900 stores in 35 countries and a strong following amongst  the world’s biggest stars in music, film, popular culture and sports.

Insta-Printa Launch @ The Bar-Roque Grill

| |
Hi Huneybees,

Insta.Printa took Bangkok by storm during its launch back in September 2012 and has since been well received in various industries from entertainment to political parties. Their clients include Louis Vuitton, Mercedes and AIS

Insta.Printa was  first time spotted in Singapore at i.t Preview Party at Wisma Atria as well as the fashion show by Robinsons at Jem and the Pink Dot event. They have partnered with renowned fashion show producer Daniel Boey and his team designing events around Insta.Printa to make it memorable and personal to event goers.

So, what is Insta.Printa?

Developed by Look Squared, Insta.Printa is targeted at both end users and clients. Itwhen consumers snap shots on Instagram at an event, tag the photos with an assigned hashtag and the Insta.Printa will instantly print out the image for the consumer to keep.

The data garnered by Insta.Printa can be used by the event organizers to analyze what works for their event and how to improve on their strategies for future events. Post-event timeline charts generated by Insta.Printa would be able to chart how the interest of an audience is at a particular point of the event.

“Insta.Printa leverages on Instagram, the best, largest and fastest growing photo-sharing app available that makes the experience of sharing photos extremely easy and fun” --- Pakin Techavisesa, CEO of Look Squared

For clients, Insta.Printa is a branding and marketing tool. Besides being able to customize corporate logos and messages on the photo print-out, Insta.Printa also collects data in real time, such as the profiles of the users, the total number of photos taken and the potential reach that the photos generate.

At the event, Pakin Techavisesa (CEO of Look Squared) and Zhao Xinming (CTO of Look Squared) showed us how simple the Insta.Printa works. We all got to bring back a piece of memory with us...

This data can later be used by clients to push messages to users and create post-event marketing strategies. They could also analyze to see which feature works for their event, and hence, improve on their current event. For example, an Insta.Printa timeline chart that is generated can show spikes to reflect increased interests from the audience of the activity being held at that period of time.

This is an example of how each photo print out will look like. It is fully customizable, down to logos to include, tags and names. Each card is name card size, so it fits easily to your wallets or name card holders (which you will have at all networking events) as well.

On a side note, I would also like to introduce you to The Bar-Roque Grill. The launch event for Insta.Printa was held there and it is located at the corner of Amara Hotel in the up-andcoming hipster zone of Tanjong Pagar.

The restaurant’s two focal points are its innovative modern rotisserie -- one of the biggest in Singapore – and its outdoor terrace. Its décor reinterprets the social exuberance of the Baroque era in a contemporary idiom, with sophisticated wallpaper and fine leather contrasted with naturally textured stone and wood, iron and brick.

Some of it signature dishes (which we got to taste that day) are Mom's Recipe Apple Pie, Rotisserie Chicken, Salt Crusted Fish and Tart Flambee.

I shall leave you with more photos I took that day at the event... Psst, the models were dressed in MR. HOWARD's latest collection.
