Cherry Credits is rallying gamers from around the world to provide support for victims of Typhoon Haiyan. With its new Facebook campaign “A Helping Hand”, users can now do their part to help the people in the aftermath of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines through the Dragon Nest SEA Facebook page.
A Facebook note, “A Helping Hand (A Cherry Credits Initiative)” has been published on Dragon Nest SEA’s page. For every ‘Like’ the note garners, Cherry Credits will be donating 1 peso to the cause - Project Balikdagat Basey or Back to Sea. Cherry Credits has pledged a minimum of 350,000 pesos, up to a maximum of one million pesos.

About Project Balikdagat Basey
(Back to Sea) Project Balikdagat Basey or ‘Back to Sea’ is a recovery project spearheaded by Filipino celebrity Alodia Gosiengfiao’s charity group, Be A Cause. Project Balikdagat Basey is an effort for the rebuilding of boats for fishermen in Basey, Samar (Philippines) who lost their means of livelihood after the destruction caused by Typhoon Haiyan. Fishing is the main industry in Basey, and these boats would give these fishermen a chance to recover their way of life. The cost of one banca (traditional fishing boat) is around 6000 pesos, a small price to help one Filipino family find a means of survival.
