Come On Down And Have Fun With LINE FRIENDS At 313@Somerset

Yipee! Another kawaii afternoon spent with the friends of LINE at 313@Somerset! The LINE Friends Pop-up store has returned to Singapore for the second time and this time, at 313's Atrium on Level 1! You cannot miss it with this huge hot air balloon hanging right above!

From 8 June - 5 July 2015, you can come play with your favourite LINE characters. take pictures with them and have a great time, hanging out and shopping with them. And of course, you can bring the LINE merchandises home. Ranging from S$2.50 to S$298 for a huge LINE Cuddle Doll, there's something for every LINE fan.

Something special this year, would have to be the exclusive collaboration items - LINE x Swarovski jewellery featuring the loveable couple, Brown and Cony; as well as the LINE x LAMY Brown pens (NOTE! The pen is currently not for sale yet and you can only get the notification via the LINE Event Official Account). But the die-die-must-get item has got to be the LINE x EZ-Link Cards, that features Brown and Cony with Singapore as the backdrop.

These cards were launched in celebration of Singapore's SG50 celebration and there are 2 designs to choose from. They would make great souvenirs if you happen to be touring Singapore at this time too!

Get Pampered At Hai Di Lao Hot Pot (海底捞火锅) At 313@Somerset

Hi Huneybees,

I was in the mood for some steamboat and after some shopping, hubby decided that we go try the newly opened Hai Di Lao Hot Pot 海底捞火锅 branch in 313@Somerset. The restaurant sits right where CD Store - HMV used to be and it's spacious waiting area greets you right at the door.

Compared to its flagship restaurant in Clarke Quay, this branch is definitely more accessible with the MRT station right in the basement. But similar to Clarke Quay, while waiting for your table, you can enjoy the tidbits and little bites provided and for the ladies, you can also get your nails done. The queue for manicure is another list, so you might want to come early or give them a call before heading down...

I was surprised by the spacious dining area as its previous tenant did not seem to make full use of the space! Aquarium on the left and we were lead to our table on the right. Our table was quickly arranged and a quick introduction, we were given a tablet to make our orders. You can join their membership to get points as well!

Their service is the selling point and the service staff fusses over you – we were given aprons and a piece of lens cleaning cloth for hubby the moment he sat down, they refilled our drinks quite quickly and responds to your every needs, recommending you some of their specialty as well.

Hubby and I shared just a little pot of soup, focusing mainly on our favourite meats and the total damage for 2 was roughly around SGD60. It might seem a little costly compared to the other steamboats out there, but given the good service and ambiance, I wouldn't mind coming back again!

Casio G-Factory Ladies Concept Store Is Now At 313@Somerset

Local celebrity Lim Pei Fen hosted the launch of the CASIO G-Factory Ladies Concept Store.

Casio recently opened the world’s first G-Factory Ladies Concept Store at 313@Somerset to house a wider range of timepieces from SHEEN and Baby-G just for the female fashionistas in Singapore.

With its energetic bright displays and pastel colour palette, the concept store houses Casio's latest Baby-G, SHEEN, G-SHOCK and Edifice timepieces.

Together with the celebratory event, an array of watches were also launched. One special display would be the chronograph rhinestones rimmed SHEEN SHE-4031L range, that goes well with the Swarovski edition set of Casio’s EXILIM TR15 camera. 

My favourite has got to be the Baby-G BG-6903. Guess I'm attracted by the vibrant colours and also the sporty feel that's so versatile with every kind of dressing...
