G-SHOCK X HUF (GA-2100HUF-5A) As My Birthday Present?

OMG! This news came right on my birthday, is it a hint for me to get it as a present for myself? Check this new G-SHOCK watch - a limited-edition collaborative timepiece with HUF (GA-2100HUF-5A). 

The watch commemorates 2022’s 20th Anniversary of the founding of professional skater Keith Hufnagel's HUF brand and is based off the best-selling G-SHOCK GA-2100 model. What attracts me is the special colour combination with the dial is colored in lime green and orange, (which are the characteristic colors of the HUF brand), and the HUF 20th-Anniversary logo is engraved on the back of the cover. 

Inspired by sneaker culture, this new model combines different materials, such as resin and metal band loops, and a cloth band; even the packaging of this watch is well thought out, the cityscape of San Francisco with the colours of the watch. The result is a timepiece that reflects the originality unique to HUF! 

The GA-2100HUF-5A will be available at https://gshock.casio.com/sg/ from 9^th September 2022 for CASIO ID members.  It will be available in all G-SHOCK stores from the 16^th September 2022.

G-SHOCK UNVEILS NEW G-SQUAD RED OUT Sports Edition

Let's welcome the new addition to G-SHOCK - G-SQUAD Red Out series, which are the new colourways of the tough sports watches. The base models are GBD-200 which inherits the square design of the original G-SHOCK, and the analog-digital combination GBA-900. The bezel, case, and band are all decked out in red, with some other red accents, they make a good fashion statement piece for the New Year as well as the upcoming Lunar New Year.

These watches can link with the GPS of a smartphone for quicker calibration of distance measurements. The calibration makes running distance measurements more accurate, even when the watch is not connected to the phone. You can also measure your running pace, and an auto lap function is to measure the time, which takes you to run a specified distance. 

Via the G-SHOCK MOVE app (which can be installed on your smartphone and linked with the watch), you can check your Lifelog and history data, which can support daily training. You can also use the app to configure various watch settings. Smartphone linking also lets you connect with the watch via Bluetooth® to enable auto time adjustment, phone notifications, step tracking, and other functions throughout the day. From daily health management to the training that improves running endurance, these new watches provide you with the tools you need to achieve a wide range of health and workout goals.

 

In terms of other features, these watches equip with a double LED light for the face and digital display, which gives a clear view in dark places. The soft urethane band with many band holes provides you outstanding ventilation and flexibility and ensures a snug fit on the wrist.

 

The new GBA-900RD-4ADR and GBD-200RD-4DR are priced at $189 and $229, which will be available on https://gshock.casio.com/sg/ and at all G-SHOCK stores now.
