Get Ready For Zombie Invasion This Halloween At Clarke Quay!

It is that time of the year again to spook and get spooked. If you are sick of trick or treating and want to get into a frightful zombie disaster, head on over to Clarke Quay from the 31st of October to 2nd of November (Thursday to Saturday). 

FOX The Walking Dead Halloween 2019 at Clarke Quay will transform Singapore’s riverside entertainment landmark into a zombie colony complete with roaming walkers, set decorations, games and live music to thrill party-goers from the 31st of October to the 2nd of November. FOX The Walking Dead Halloween at Clarke Quay marks the much anticipated return of the series this October. 

Cross the frontier into Clarke Quay at your very own risk of “turning” and immerse in a zombie-infested colony. Around Clarke Quay’s Fountain Square, set decorations and prosthetics that depict scenes from the TV series will allow fans to fully immerse in the horror of The Walking Dead experience whilst interacting with flesh-eating walkers.

Partygoers will be able to go out of their limb and dive into a scavenger pit of severed body parts, take part in walker shoot-outs, try their hand at guessing the gruesome contents of a scare box, get some flesh-melting gore make-up done and capture the moment with friends at a photo booth. Survive, receive and collect at least 3 out of 5 stamps at these scare zones to win The Walking Dead Halloween merchandise. Woohoo! Who's a Walking Dead fan like me too??? I can't wait to pull my zombie look out!

No party is complete without music. On the final night of the Halloween installment, superstars in the local music scene Khim Ng x The Mad Company will entertain the audience from 8pm to 11pm with three sets of rock and pop. Together with Emcee Jeremy Yeo who will be there throughout the three nights to engage audience in lively interactive stage games, he will host the annual Clarke Quay “Best Dressed” horror costume competition on Saturday, 2nd November at 10pm, where the winner stands a chance to walk away $160 worth of Clarke Quay dining vouchers. * Good Luck*

For the first time ever in Singapore, fans of the hit zombie apocalypse TV series, THE WALKING DEAD (TWD) on FOX, can look forward to a time-based game - “FOX The Walking Dead Mission Survive'. 

Presented by Singtel TV and organised by FOX, the event will see groups of up to five participants form individual clans to clear missions and obstacles and collect the necessary points to unlock both new stations, as well as the all-important safe zone in order to obtain sanctuary during the zombie apocalypse. TWD mission survive is a GPS On-ground Game which requires clans to use a specific app in order to view secret locations, newly unlocked stations, their current points standing, and the leader board.

Are you ready for it? Well, Dee Kosh have been busy sending out his invites to his clan members via the undead delivery man. You guys better start "ganging" up!

See Art Pieces Come Alive At The ALIVE MUSEUM

Hi Huneybees,

I've finally made my way to the Alive Museum after much anticipation. I missed it when I was in Seoul the other time and I was so glad that this 3D Korean imported interactive museum is now available in Singapore! 

Alive Museum has taken over the retail space on the third floor between Towers 3 and 4 at Suntec City and it is pretty similar to the Korean version. Being the largest interactive museum in Singapore with 929 sq m (10,000 sq ft) and more than 80 artworks, your camera would definitely not stop clicking. Based on Trompe-l’oeil (trickery in French) these touch-all-you-want art pieces encourages visitors to pose and take pictures with them. It is best to go in a group of 4, so you can help each other with the pictures!

The Angel Wings photo is like a must-do, but something special would be the Singapore only edition where you can only find through the maze. You can find Singapore's iconic Merlion, Marina Bay Sands, Gardens by the Bay, Singapore Flyer, all gathered here.

There are quite a bit of poses, there are times we had to lie on floors and there's a room full of mirrors, ladies might want to come in jeans, pants of wear a pair of safety shorts. Once you discover a photo spot, be sure to check out the signages on the wall next to it, to see what is the best way to pose, and don't forget to stand at the Photo Points to get the best angle!

Thank you Alive Museum for the great day out with my friends! You guys have got to come on down to experience it! 

Do come early to avoid the crowd, not only is the queuing long, you might also have difficulty getting people to steer clear of your photos...

[Halloween] *SCAPE Museum of Horrors III

*SCAPE with its co-presenter Movie Mania, is back with the third installment of Museum of Horrors. It's bigger and better, for the first time in 4D! Not only do you see them, you get to feel them too!  Its an extremely intense experience for Halloween-goers seeking a truly terrifying yet entertaining Halloween. 

It is widely speculated for years and believed by many that the world will come to a disastrous end in 2012. If this catastrophe occurs, how would the end be like?

All these scary zombies, are you sure you dare to venture?

Revolving around the main storyline of an apocalypse zombie outbreak, the 40 crew Halloween production will feature an elaborate concept of multiple enclosed zones interlinked with extremely dark scare tunnels to give this year’s visitors a whole new refreshing experience at *SCAPE.  For the first time, one can expect a varied Halloween experience where Halloween-goers will experience various different endings if they choose to return for multiple visits between 18-31 October 2012.

I think I'm turning zombie too!

Meet renowned biochemist Dr Decay in his secret laboratory where he does his research in cell regeneration to find the cure to Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) in order to save lives, and most importantly, his wife. 

Drawing inspiration from the popular zombie genre, with American TV series such as The Walking Dead, Zombie movies and Zombie games just as Left 4 Dead (L4D), Museum of Horrors III combines 3D backlight effects together with wind, smoke, smell, lights and water effects, all poised to tickle and provoke all 5 senses of any Halloween-goer.

As part of its continuous efforts to engage youth and volunteers, 2-day workshops are conducted at *SCAPE for 100 youth volunteers where they will learn props productions and the art of horror makeup. In addition to this interactive learning opportunity, they get to experience the “behind the scenes” where they may even get operational roles in this Halloween production.

Here's the scary part! Put on the 3D glasses and prepare to be freaked out! With the glasses you can see things that can't be seen with the naked eyes. Note: It can be giddy when wearing the glasses. Please be careful....
