Is Zayn Malik Taking Us On A Rollercoaster Ride?

On Wednesday's trending list, I was tinkled pink as Zayn Malik was on the top of the list. This ex-One Direction member has quit the chart-topping boyband after 5 years to "live the life of a normal 22 year old, out of the spotlight". 


This news got his fans doing a major meltdown with crying videos and even a petition for compassionate leave. I was baffled with ten thousand "HUH?!"in my head, wondering what spells he has casted to get such a response???

Making amends: Zayn publicly apologised after being pictured with his arm around Lauren Richardson and told his fans, 'I'm sorry for what it looks like'

Zayn's decision to leave the band came after he was signed off the current tour with 'stress,' in the aftermath of cheating rumours that surrounded viral pictures that saw him cuddling up to a young, blonde holidaymaker Lauren Richardson in Thailand last week.

But after today's latest update, all those tears might prove to be in vain. Zayn himself just confirmed that he WILL be embarking on a solo career. Speaking to The Sun just six hours after saying that he wanted to be 'out of the spotlight', Zayn confirmed that his plan was to: 'Be myself for a bit. Write and relax and chill.'

He expressed that he had 'never felt more in control in my life' and was seen heading to a recording studio in London the very next day, with reports that he's already working on his first solo release with a chart topping music producer - Naughty Boy. 

I'm feeling a little cheated and misled.

Wonder if this is a new marketing strategy or his way of playing an April Fools' joke.

Spent The Weekend Celebrating St. Patrick's Day In A Sea Of Green With GUINNESS

Woohoo! Huney'Z World was basking under the rainbow and partying with leprechauns amongst the huge pots of gold as we celebrated St. Patrick's Day with sea of green party people. 

Cheers to GUINNESS Stout for the amazing party planned with the week long celebration and their largest giveaway ever as they collaborated with Singtel's mWallet to treat everyone a glass of GUINNESS Stout each!

The Irish bars lined along Boat Quay was lighted up with so much fun, jeers and music, as we celebrated Ireland's public holiday. The day commemorates Saint Patrick and the arrival of Christianity in Ireland, as well as celebrating the heritage and culture of the Irish in general.

Like every year, there's a parade leading up to the concerts to entertain us as we mingle and enjoy the weekend with our friends. But nothing beats going around and seeing the family warmth as parents spend quality time with their kids. Maybe my little motherly love is overflowing, but all these dads carrying their babies, made me kept going "Awww~~~" throughout the event!

 

Aren't the kids just adorable?!

But of course, the partying is not just about the kids, there's also the amazing bond of coming together for a celebratory cause and that BFF bond is definitely priceless. I also had my best buddy joining me too! Hehehehe...

Though the weekend is over and it's back to work today, but don't forget to have GUINNESS in your parties! Cheers to another amazing week!

Where Is Chicken Rice From? Who Started The Kallang Wave? Tiger Beer Has The Answer!

My friends were simply as curious as me when this crate was delivered to my doorstep. What is the Unofficial Official History Of Singapore?! My little friends did some dusting, going all Sherlock Holmes and decided to open the mysterious crate.

Addressed to me and something from Tiger Beer? Hmmm, I still have to use a crow bar to open the crate. Super duper mysterious, I am seriously burning in suspense. Are you?????    >.<

Okok! Enough with the suspense, it is actually a top secret file accompanied with my favourite party drink - Tiger Beer in bottled and canned form! But wait, something's a little different, did they change their packaging? It feels like I just opened a time capsule, I have got to read the files first...

Wow! Apparently this crate was discovered in an abandoned pre-war bunker at the foot of Mount Faber! Along with the vintage 1965 Tiger Beer drinks, there are also old photos and shocking artifacts from out nation's past that will shed light on 2 of our iconic treasures - Kallang Wave and Chicken Rice!

Wah! Seems like it's really a time blast from the past! With SG50 coming up and the nation celebrating the golden jubilee, Tiger Beer with its strong affiliation with Singapore, has launched this new campaign to inspire Singaporeans to look st ourselves with a new perspective. 

Drawing inspiration from the very first Tiger Beer produced in 1965, we are going back in time to explore the origins of some of Singapore's icons with a light hearted manner. 

Where is Chicken Rice from? 

Everyone have been trying claim the rights, but what if the truth lies with this video interview from Tiger Beer that will be launched on 16 March 2015?! You have got to catch it at tigerbeer.com.sg, to find out the truth!

The other icon in highlight is the Kallang Wave. So, we have been doing it over and over at every celebrate Singapore event, but who was the one who came up with the idea?

Well, Tiger Beer has found him! He is Chu Beng Huat and you have got to watch this exclusive interview of him sharing his incredible rags-to-riches story. It will only be available at tigerbeer.com.sg on 23 March 2015, but be sure to watch it to discover the Kallang Wave history!
