Japanese three-piece band muque is heading to Singapore for the first-ever solo show as part of their LIVE TOUR 2026 “GLHF”, happening on 13 June 2026 at the iconic Victoria Theatre. Formed in Fukuoka in 2022, muque is made up of Asakura (vocals & guitar), Kenichi (guitar), and takachi (trackmaker & drums). Blending American and British influences with Asian beats, layered production, and poetic Japanese lyricism, the band creates a genre-fluid, emotionally rich sound that feels both global and deeply personal.

Even their name carries meaning. “muque” is inspired by the French word musique and the Japanese word “η‘ε’” (muku), meaning purity, which is a reflection of their commitment to creating music authentically, without outside pressure.
