Bringing Back High School Popularity With MASH-UP's S/S 2016 Collection

It was as though we were transported back to the 90's and joined Britney Spears in her "Baby Hit Me More Time" MV at the MASH-UP  Spring Summer 2016 show presented on the runways of Digital Fashion Week 2015.

The "students" of MASH-UP High embodied every essence of what the brand stands for, exuding energy whilst mashing music, partying and fashion.You will definitely be the most popular person/group in school and be a talking point wearing this latest collection when school breaks end.

Other than the fashion, I'm also infatuated with the styling of the "students". Colourful hair pins, furry choker and rings paired summer yellow and green hued makeup and pastel nails, made this colour addict Queen Bee wana bring them all home! =X

It's definitely a Mash-Up of Mean Girls and Clueless for this Spring/Summer collection. Even the legendary Burn Book made an appearance on the show. Now I want that as a clutch! :X

Though the silhouettes might have been a little too repetitive amongst the MASH-UP collections, but if you look closer, that's where the details come into play. The prints on the clothes are definitely what the teenagers these days can relate to, I even spotted "Queen Bee"!

Talk about showing those test results!

And of course, the best is left to the end. When the "students" walked out in the gingham outfits and that sharp turquoise shade, my eyes glowed and murmurs amongst the guests were heard, saying that they were definitely their must-gets. *Clap clap clap*

Juicy Couture Spring 2014 Collection with New Sports Line With Stretch City

On Valentines' Day, hubby and I celebrated with Juicy Couture and Stretch City, seeing the launch of  its Spring 2014 Collection, Go West, as well as yhe launch of their new line of active-wear, Juicy Couture Sports. (*I know this might be a little late, but as I had lost my photos and due to my busy schedule, I could only publish now.) 

Go West is for the true Juicy girls who embrace freedom, fun and fashion. Gingham, florals with a clash of cheetah prints and eyecatching graphics, gives the feminine wear a daring dangerous twist. With influences from the rock era and the Bohemian glamour of the 70s, the latest collection feed the Juicy girl’s passion for the adventure more than ever.

For Valentine’s Day, Juicy Couture had a surprise collaboration with multimedia artist, Baron Von Fancy, to create a capsule collection of graphic tees and accessories bearing Juicy catchphrases in Von Fancy’s signature, bold, hand-printed font. 

And to bring fun to spring shopping, Juicy Couture also introduced a beachwear collection - Spring Break, letting the Juicy girl strip down to lighter, layered looks for days on the beach and nights out to the town.

To celebrate Juicy Couture Sports, the label collaborated with Stretch City to offer guests a complimentary Dance Yoga session curated by the co-founders of Stretch City, Yun Ng and Liv Lo accompanied by DJ Amanda Ling.

Donning a leopard-print sports bra with yoga pants from the Juicy Couture Sports collection, Liv Lo, accompanied participants in the session, inspiring them to reach their fullest potential and thoroughly experience the unwinding benefits, showcasing the full collection of tread-driven silhouettes, including sports bras, tanks, tees, sweatshirts, jackets, shorts and leggings. Customers can now “Choose Juicy” for nearly every aspect of their day.

Mixing upbeat music with yoga movements, guests at the event were given an excellent treat to Singapore’s first ever Dance Yoga session and were more than inspired by the new creation. The 45-minute session saw participants following through various yoga moves, alongside live electronic music provided by talented DJ Amanda Ling.
