Paint the Town With Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G

Been curious about the latest Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G, wana have a feel of the legendary S Pen before making the purchase? Samsung Singapore recently set up a limited-time only pop up at leading multi-brand streetwear retailer CHAMBER @ Wisma Atria.

Themed as Paint the Town, you will be able to paint the commissioned artwork by local graphic designer and illustrator Moon Malek with the Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G.

Muneera Malek, also known as Moon Malek, is a graphic designer and an illustrator. D'ana of COVL, CJ Hendry, Joshua Vides and Walt Disney, to name a few, play an essential role and are mainly responsible for moulding her love for illustrations and mixed media. Her background of working for both local and international brands such as Zouk Club Singapore to Fred Perry enable her to expand and widen her creativity.

Moon's most recent work was a mural installation for Adidas Singapore's Headquarters and one of their local store at Pan Pacific Plaza in 2020. In 2019, she participated in Art Box Singapore which she was invited to paint and curate a horse statue. She also had a mural installation at Just Co, Singapore and Taiwan. In 2017, she participated in -ING Creative Festival in Dubai, representing Singapore with fellow photographer Nidia Marissa. She was also featured at Singapore Fashion Awards 2016 with mural illustrations displayed as part of the catwalk. She had participated in various local exhibitions curated by local creatives such as Kult, Projector and worked on an illustration collaboration with a local designer for Met Gala 2016.

Walking into the space, you will be greeted by the huge mural drawing on screen which you can give colour life to via the Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G provided, see your creations light up as you try out the different "pens and markers".

About the Mural

Where do we create new realities, challenge gravity or spur fantastical manipulations? In our minds, where rules are bent and at best, broken.

 

This mural captures the playground of the mind. It blurs the lines between imagination and reality with elements that interact and break all the rules. Just as the Galaxy S22 Series 5G does. With its lenses, S Pen and ability to shoot at any angle, the Galaxy S22 Series 5G welcomes you to Break the Rules of Innovation and experience the world as your mind sees it, blending together what’s possible and unbelievable.

Samsung Paint the Town pop-up is open to public from 10 March to 24 March 2022, between 11am to 9pm. Other than "painting" the mural, you can also:

3 Factors To Decide Whether To NOTE Or Not To NOTE?

Choose a side, are you Team Note 5 or Team S6 Edge? 

Being launched together, there is an inevitable want to compare both the Samsung GALAXY Note 5 4G+ and the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ 4G+. If you are still indecisive and don't know which new Samsung gadget to get, hope these factors below will help you iron those knots out and hopefully help you on your decision.

There are several similarities between these phones like:

Just a slight difference on the dimension, the S6 edge is thinner, easier for those who love wearing tight jeans. Samsung GALAXY Note 5 4G: 153mm x 76mm x 7.6mm / Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ 4G+: 154mm x 76mm x 6.9mm.

But probably without the S Pen, it's also 12% lighter than the Note 5 weighing at only 153g, I sense this is a stronger favorite amongst the ladies...

2) An Additional Screen Usage

Though on paper, both the new phones may look identically sleek and gorgeous, but their biggest difference is their design. The Note 5 is curved on the back for better grip but the S6 Edge+ features the same Dual Edge Screen as the S6 Edge, curving the phone on both edges to provide  better viewing experience for optimal multimedia usage.

Of course, with the "extra" screen, comes the Apps Edge for easy access to favourite apps and Enhanced People Edge with customization, for easy access as well as shortcuts to those favourite apps of yours. 

3) The S Pen
One obvious fact between a Note series phone and S series phone has definitely got to be the S Pen. This is the main factor whenever it comes to decision making when I purchase for a smart phone as I'm doodling whenever I have free time, it becomes like my finger extension here. Instead of having to use your nails to "pick out" the S Pen, now it is easily called out by a simple push to eject the S Pen. The pen is improved for better balance and fun part is the clicker on the top as though a ballpoint pen, I really can't stop clicking. But of course other than that, the new S Pen is more sensitive with improved writing capabilities and detection for faster and more intuitive access to its features.

With the removal of the S Pen, the Enhanced Air Command is also triggered, where you can access
