Opening Show Of MTV EMA 2013

Miley Cyrus might have toned down a little (just a little notch) on the MTV EMA 2013 opening. In a skin hugging latex silver dress, she appeared in a space helmet with Little Britney. I must admit, she looked so polished and she has a great body! Who can fit into that kind of dress and still look good?!

Of course her usual theatrics never stopped, on stage she played Little Britney's boobs while each other them took turns spanking asses and twerking. Even off stage, she toyed with the alien with her rocket mic. 

She finished off her Can't Stop with the bunch of aliens waiting for her at the other side of the stge and she introduced Redfoo, who topped her craziness with ripping his suit off, wearing just a shiny silver brief. All the thing stars would do for exposure....

Red Carpet Moment On MTV EMA 2013

Hi Huneybees,

The MTV EMA 2013 happened this morning at 4am, I was too tired to stay awake, but the lovely people of MTV had me flown to Kuala Lumpur and right now I am watching the uncut version of the whole show right in the lobby of Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral.

So, here's the lowdown on who wore what at the red carpet. Are you ready to see who were the #EMAzing people?

Hosted by Louise Roe and Laura Whitmore, the red carpet was roaring hot as the celebrities get sent into intergalactic. Totally digging the Mara Hoffman Spring 2014 dress on Louise Roe. The right amount of flesh showing with this season's hottest neon colour pops!

As for Laura Whitemore, what's so out of this world from her FYODOR GOLAN gown has got to be the weird proportions around her boobs, the dress simply looked so ill-fitted and cinched at all the wrong areas, making her look as though she was pregnant.

Redfoo was the host for the night and no one can work those crazy hair like him. He had 9 different outfit change and he even had his very own shoe horn guy!

The Duo - Caroline Hjelt and Aino Jawo of Iconapop turned up in monochrome black and white but the twist of stripes and intricate weave detailing on Aino's dress was simply screaming sexy without being too sleazy.

Same for Ellie Goulding, she opted for a lacey back dress with all the right coverage. It was all so pretty for an award show but it would be better if she had a pop of colour like red lips or holographic heels?

Nominated for the Artist On The Rise award, Ariana Grande turned up at the red carpet in a lace inset halter frock from Mikael D. Kinda disappointed that she had dropped her red hair look, but we will be seeing more of her as she interviews celebrities as the official MTV EMA backstage host and she be presenting an award.

30 Seconds to Mars is forever my favourite group to look at. Ok. I admit, just Jared Leto, but his long hair was a turn off. Where is the clean cut Jared???

Katy Perry's red carpet look was totalloy a letdown. She looked as though she was going for tea with The Queen! I do love her bling bling headband and the clever peach heels to freshen the common mint dress. Psst, Katy even admits to collecting hair and she has Miley's !

The popular Norwegian duo - Ylvis also did their ever so catchy (or irritating) "Fox Song" performance right at the red carpet. I just can't help singing along....

 

This had got to be her year. Miley Cyrus with her image change and over obsessive tongue sticking and twerking moves turned up in  a tiny little dress featuring Tupac and Notorious B.I.G. faces, a plunging neckline, lacing up the front and a barely there backside.

She was on the verge of going Bai Ling style there, but we also got to see her new tattoos of her grandma on the arm. I wonder what monkey business she will be up to on the award show.

Iggy Azalea was the most polished and my favourite look with her cutout one-shoulder dress with thigh-high slits from Dilek Hanif Couture. A little red lips might make her face stand out a little more though....

Special appearance by Will Ferrell as  Ron Burgundy. Asked by reporters how he was enjoying Amsterdam, he said he has had "a lot of these delicious brownies, and they are very good." Hmmm.....

Even though Rihanna wasn't present at the MTV EMA 2013, Dutch singer-songwriter Eva Simons’ out of this world hair and look at the awards show, definitely rocked the red carpet. She also another favourite of mine. Totally digging her style.

PSY, Aerosmith, Carly Rae Jepsen, SkyBlu & Chester See @ The Social Star Awards 2013 Press Con

The press event held at the Sands Theatres today was a star-studded lead-up to the Social Star Awards (happening at the same venue on May 23). Hosted by Dominic Lau, South Korean sensation - PSY, together with Carly Rae Jepsen, Youtube Sensation - Chester See, LMFAO’s Sky Blu and the Legendary -  Aerosmith, talked and chatted with the media.

Organised by Starcount, the award ceremony is the first of five to come, with the aim to “recognise just how influential (celebrities) have become through social media”; in short, the stars with the millions of fans of Facebook, Twitter and more. At this award ceremony, what the fans think truly matters. Every tweet, Facebook share, view and comment will count towards deciding the winners of the night.

Carly Rae Jepsen 

The cute “Call Me Maybe” star says she wants to make music that is sincere. She says: "In this business, it's really important to have alligator skin." 

Based on her experiences in Canadian Idol, she wants to be able to make clear the difference between helpful advice and people being mean, she wants to be able to support more talents like how Justin Bieber once helped push her to fame.

LMFAO - SkyBlu

Member of funny dance duo LMFAO - SkyBlu, meets the media in Singapore without his nephew - Redfoo. They started out on MySpace and says his new favourite social media tool is Vine, the short video-sharing app.

Totally digging the PSY's image, but mainly it's the Louboutin spiked shoes!

PSY

YouTube sensation and musician - PSY was so carefree and impromptu when he turned to ask his assistant for the name of his favourite restaurant in Singapore - Seafood at Jumbo Seafood Restaurant. Everyone were on the edge of their seats when he walked in and the moment he mentioned Jackie Chan naming him as his 2nd son, one to inherit his legacy by bringing East to West, there was a sense of pride struck there.

He also showed his fatherly side, saying how fame has impacted his family and loving the "winning" of attention from his twin daughters from his wife. "My twin daughters used to love my wife more, but after seeing me fly on a wire during my Gentleman concert, they have decided they love me more as I'm cooler." 

Chester See

YouTube star Chester See started his "career" getting introduced by David Choi and it's already been 6 years. He is starting to see Social Media is getting so powerful and is happy that it's is getting celebrated with an awards. He was so humble and wanted to remove the word "Star" when he was named a "Youtube Star". 

Aerosmith

It took me awhile to get back to earth, looking at the legends stand before me, was a dream come true. Their "what-the-heck" spirit got the media asking questions after questions, each getting spicier and spicier. Aerosmith lead singer Steven Tyler says: "We had one (party) last night on the rooftop and it was hotter than hell. Beautiful people, beautiful women. Melting pot of different kinds, delicious."

The band was also joined by Japanese rapper - Hikakin, who performed a surprise rap segment and you guys are in for a surprise tomorrow night!
