[What's New] Another Hair Pampering Session At Monsoon Hair Salon

Hi Huneybees,

My hair was getting a little too long and so I headed over to Monsoon @ Novena Square to get it trimmed down, and also to give my hair some pampering attention. Our hair can react differently to our moods and just like our skin, the more stressed out we are, the easier it is for our hair to lose its lustre.

Thank god for Monsoon, I was given a new red hair "update" and a treatment session for me.  It's always a joy to be sitting there and getting my hair tended to by Jack and Joanne. However, this time is is just Jack, as Joanne had fractured her arm and was on medical leave to recuperate.

After a round of hair dying and sitting under the "UFO" to get my hair steamed with hair treatment to let the seep right into the pores and get right into the roots of the hair. See my before and after photo, you will definitely be wanting to make an appointment too. =)

Here's signing off with more of my new hair updates , it was definitely the right choice to have cut off my hair. It's just right for the warm, warm weather in Singapore and I just couldn't resist doing a "Justin Bieber" hair flick.

Should I try an even shorter hair cut?

[What's New] Getting All Styled Up For Beckham

Hi Huneybees,

So, what does one do when going to see football sensation - David Beckham? DRESS UP! I head down to MONSOON at Novena Square early to see Joanne and got her to help me style my hair for this dreamy man...

As usual, I had a relaxing shampoo moment and got my hair straightened. Then fun part comes next...

I leave my hair to Joanne to style however she liked and she used a new technique that she just learnt. What was it? I was curious coz she first had my hair parted and tied a ponytail with the rest. Then she released my parting and starting braiding, so I was like "Oh! Waterfall braiding?".

"No way hosay!" This was definitely another level from that. See the final "artpiece"! I had my hair braided and then pulled back and ended with a flower bun. How she did it?! I was totally in love with it and I couldn't bear to remove that night. I kept asking my hubby to take more pictures. You have to see the top, the back, the sides. OMG! It was gorgeous 360°!

[Digital Fashion Week 2014] Day 2 Hair Style By Monsoon Hair House

Hi Huneybees,

So, my celeb treatment went on and for Day 2 of Digital Fashion Week 2014, I was back at Monsoon Hair House Novena to get my hair styled. For that day, Joanne let my hair down, straightened it and gave me waterfall braids on my fringe.

Everyone loved it and said it was a different look for me, the best of all even my hubby complimented my look! Ok set, Joanne more looks please. LOL!

[Digital Fashion Week 2014] Hair Styling By Monsoon Hair House For Day 1

Hi Huneybees,

Attending fashion shows has always given me an excuse to doll up, it's always about the clothes you wear and how you wear it. I'm glad to have Monsoon Hair House helping me with hair styling for these few days. 

Jack from Monsoon Novena did an updo for me, with a tucked in bun, to show off my makeup and printed dress. I was going for a slightly more edgy look for the day and I liked how the hair looked a little like the faux hawk from the front. Totally matched my spikes eh?

So, here's a full look at my OOTD. The dress is from Forever21, my spikey clutch from local brand - DEPRESSION, shoes from Korea and zoom in to my acessories - safety pin bangle from Forever21 as well and watch from Chronosport, all thanks to ZALORA! :)

[What's New] Getting My Hair Styled For a-nation Singapore 2014

Hi Huneybees,

I was there to see my Jpop Queen and how can I not dress up for it right?! Well, once I've decided what I wana wear, I made a date with Monsoon Hair House and got my hair done up in the spirit of Lena Fuji. It's all about being kawaii and I had my peach red hair, curled and braided into a side sweep for a-nation Singapore 2014.

Hubby and I loved the look. Do you guys like it?

[What's New] I've Turned Scarlet Red At Monsoon Hair House

Hi Huneybees,

I have a new hair colour! After blue had turned turquoise, it was time for me to change again. This time, Joanne has chosen a dark cherry red for me to tackle after the months of rainbow colours, it was time to go back in trend. 

What's the trend? Healthy looking hair and short is the way to go, best for our weather in Singapore. Friends have been saying I look so refreshing and younger! Woohoo! You guys should give it a try too!

The process? I had Joanne and Jack working through my hair, dying it red. I felt like a star every time I'm here at Monsoon. (Keep your eyes open and cameras ready, as celebs might walk in!) 

So, after washing out the hair dye, I was given hair treatment to make my hair softer and less frizzy, after blowing out and straightening my hair, I have spanking new head of red hair! All thanks to Monsoon's Joanna and Jack!

Do you guys like it? I feel it has the Scarlett Johansson's vibe when she played as Black Widow eh?
