Be At The Edge Of Your Seat With Cosentino: Anything Is Possible

| |
Hi Huneybees,

Fans of the magic realm, be fascinated and captivated as BASE Entertainment Asia brings in the magnificent "Cosentino: Anything is Possible" show. We caught the mesmerizing International Magician of the Year - Paul Cosentino, on his opening and had a little chat with him before catching his show later in the evening.

He had a Johnny Depp, Captain Jack Sparrow vibe as he walked towards me, dark, mysterious but it was a surprise to find him all chatty and humourous throughout the conversation. I delved into the magical scene and came out charmed and excited to catch his show. Here's the lowdown...

Yes, do not blink your eyes, coz every moment, something is happening!

The multi-award winning performer, Cosentino is definitely more than just your usual street magician. With an increasing list of achievements (currently holding a Merlin from the International Magicians’ Society, the Levante Award and three Australian Award Winning Magician), his show is not to be missed.

I've seen his performance before at an RTL CBS event, but for this show, we can see Cosentino's evolving and perfecting his act with more death defying acts. I was holding my breath and held my mouth at the 'WOW' position through the show. No wonder he is hailed as the 21st century, Harry Houdini.

I loved that there was audience interactivity throughout his show, he was like a Harry Potter and Michael Jackson, integrating dance with his magic performances; everything was so well thought and planned, not one act was a seen before.

And I do agree with him, my favourite part has got to be the time travelling bit, it was so intricately done to transition between the first half and second of his half show, no matter how much magic trick busting shows or books you have read, you will definitely have a hard time trying to break "the spell".

There's so much I don't want to spoil it for you, you have got to see it! With just a few more shows left, be sure to catch it before it ends. A big shout out to BASE Entertainment Asia for this magical trip.

Who's the pretty & Young Agent O in MIB 3?

Hi Huneybees,

Alice Eve as the young Agent O.

Men In Black 3 opened on our shores last Thursday and I did a movie review on it. Have you read it? Why not?

As you can see, other than the duo, Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones, there were also many celebrities to spot in the movie. One actress, however, who did capture my attention in this movie is Alice Eve. She played as the young Agent O and I kept telling my hubby, who is this gorgeous blonde?! She's simply too Barbie!

Emma Thompson as Agent O.

A video of Alice Eve's past sexy film scenes.

The London babe, Alice Eve first appeared in television dramas as well as two plays by Trevor Nunn and the play Rock 'n' Roll by Tom Stoppard. Then, she got her first film role in
Starter for 10 (2006) with James McAvoy and followed that with the film Big Nothing (2006) alongside Simon Pegg. In 2006, she went to India to shoot the British miniseries Losing Gemma (TV). And in 2009, Alice was introduced to American audiences in the film Crossing Over. Her first high-profile role was in Sex and the City 2 (2010), where she played Charlotte York's Irish nannyIn 2011, Eve had a recurring guest role on the 8th season of the HBO series Entourage, playing Sophia, a journalist and love interest to Vincent Chase.

[Movie Review] Men In Black 3 (MIB 3)

Hi Huneybees,

The duo, Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith as back as Agent K and Agent J with Men In Black 3! I was invited to the premiere of at Vivocity last night to catch it in 3D.  With the constant humor, superb special effects throughout this action pack/adventurous storyline, and ending with a heart warming linkage to Agent J's (played by Will Smith) special relationship to Agent K (played by Tommy Lee Jones), I give it a 4 out of 5 popcorns for its entertainment value.

In "Men In Black 3", Agent J (Will Smith) and Agent K (Tommy Lee Jones) are back... in time. J has seen some inexplicable things in his 15 years with the Men In Black, but nothing, not even aliens, perplexes him as much as his wry, reticent partner.
But when K's life and the fate of the planet are put at stake, J will have to travel back in time to put things right. J discovers that there are secrets to the universe that K never told him - secrets that will reveal themselves as he teams up with the young Agent K (Josh Brolin) to save his partner, the agency and the future of humankind.

The Men In Black franchise is no stranger to celebrity cameos, having seen the late singer Michael Jackson star in Men In Black 2. The latest film, Men In Black 3 will feature a few stars like pop princess Nicole Scherzinger, who took on a villainous role in the movie as Lily Poison, lover to Boris the Animal (played by Jemaine Clement) <--- Amazing makeup and special effects on this alien. Watch out for more blink-and-you'll-miss celebrity cameos from Lady GagaJustin Bieber, and my idol, Tim Burton as they flash up on the alien surveillance board.  (^_-)-☆

Also my favourite artist Andy Warhol (realli?!) would be making an appearance too!!!

Yuna Ito running away from wedding proposal?!

Hi Huneybees,

Yuna Ito was the climax of the Japanese performers for Day 3 of Men's Fashion Week 2012. Her power voice won her many fans and all exclaimed when she appeared in the stunning, sparkly white gown. I bet lots of guys there were dying to run up and marry her!

Yuna Ito is of Japanese-Korean descent and was born in Los Angeles and raised in Hawaii. Belting out Mariah Carey and Michael Jackson songs since young, her love for music and potential stardom was always apparent to those around her.

Ito got her big break in early 2005 when she auditioned for the role of Reira, a vocalist in the band TRAPNEST that was to be part of the film adaptation of Ai Yazawa's popular manga Nana. Her debut single, 'Endless Story' went on to become a big hit on the Japanese charts with early fans marvelling at her vocal range.

OMG! Frank got to kiss Yuna's hands!

 Flowers for the pretty lady...

Since then Ito has gone on to release a string of hits and collaborated with numerous high profile producers in the music industry. She has also worked with her long-time idol Celine Dion, who approached her to do a duet on the song 'A World To Believe In' after hearing Ito's rendition.

Who agrees to have Utt and Yuna Ito walk down the runway hand in hand?

Don't you think they look chubby together?
When Utt proposed Yuna ran away!
