Six years ago, the MediaCorp Ah JieZoe Tay unveiled her wax figure at the grand opening of Madame Tussauds Singapore, and today 22 October 2020, she unveiled a new restyle for her wax twin. The figure originally created in 2014, is now wearing her signature look from Star Search Finals 2019, proudly sponsored by Versace.
"When Madame Tussauds reached out to me if I would like to change the look of my twin, I thought why not, and decided to go for this timeless look! I remember the sitting very clearly and how meticulous the wax making process was. It was a great surprise that I actually could get my hands on a small bit of the process of making a wax figure. It was unreal to see how hairs are actually inserted, it was definitely an eye-opening experience!" --- Zoe Tay
Her figure is a permanent figure in Singapore along with other homegrown stars and local personalities include JJ Lin, Stefanie Sun, former Prime Minister Mr. Lee Kuan Yew and his wife, film-maker Jack Neo and actor-host Gurmit Singh (Phua Chu Kang).
Madame Tussauds Singapore is also the home for many world leaders, sports legends, Bollywood & Hollywood celebs, and Marvel Super Heroes! The attraction continues adding new figures and experiences every year.
Besides seeing her restyled figure for the first time, Zoe also got her hands on a newly launched experience at Madame Tussauds called "Behind The Magic" where she tried out wax shaping, oil painting, and hair insertion!
Behind The Magic is a new 90-minute insider experience where you go behind the scenes with wax artists and try your hand at the magic required to make the world's greatest wax figures. Learn wax painting, hair insertion, and even take home your own wax souvenir! You can be a wax artist too!

With the Force "Awakening" at the end of this year, SW fans like me will be stoked as more and more related products are been launched. One such moment was as recent as last week when I received an invitation to visit the Sandcrawler Theatre @ 1 Fusionopolis View by Disney Interactive for a game launch this week!!
I must complement Disney Interactive for taking no effect to fly Jason Moffitt, the Producer for Disney Infintity, all the way from Los Angeles to Singapore (over 20 hours of flight time) to unveil its most ambitious gaming initiative to date - Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition! YES! Star Wars characters have been added to one of the best mash-up games of our era!
For Huneybees who are not familiar with Disney Infinity, this is an incredible game platform that unlocks limitless freedom to create stories and play experiences starring beloved characters from The Walt Disney Company and Pixar Animation Studios.
By integrating collectible character figures with game console, Disney Infinity not only makes these figures come to life in the

Additionally, you will have the unique opportunity to play with all of the Star Wars characters in all of the Star Wars Play Sets, as well as bringing them to other worlds when they are unlocked.
Twilight of the Republic is an all-new, original chapter of the Star Wars Saga, set in the Episodes I-III timeline. Get ready to use the Force and Lightsabers in epic battles as Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda, and Darth Maul.
Rise Against the Empire features galaxy-spanning missions with Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia Organa, Han Solo, Chewbacca, and Darth Vader. This Play Set is set in the timeline of the original trilogy and will send you piloting X-Wing Fighters and the Millennium Falcon to planets like Tatooine, Hoth, and Endor.
So far, at the D23, we have already seen the annoucement of Rey and Finn from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, so these 2 will definitely be in the 3rd installment of the Star Wars Playset.
#2 – TRON characters Sam Flynn and Quorra will be available as physical figures at the release of Disney Infinity 3.0!
Need me to say more for fans of the American science fiction film TRON? Instead of the two leads making special appearances in the previous version, you can now use them as your gameplay character!
#3 – Disney Infinity 3.0 will include more Disney characters and MARVEL too !
There will be a Play Set based on Disney•Pixar’s upcoming film Inside Out featuring all five Emotions Joy, Sadness, Fear, Anger, and Disgust as playable characters. Fan-favorite characters Mickey, Minnie, Mulan, and Olaf will also be joining Toy Box 3.0. Yay!
From the Marvel Universe, there will be a MARVEL Play Set (to be announced later!), along with more MARVEL characters including Hulkbuster Iron Man and Ultron.
You can also expect to see Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps from Walt Disney Animation Studios' Zootopia, Spot from Disney•Pixar's The Good Dinosaur; and Peter Pan, who was selected as part of the "Toy Box Artists Choice" - an event held during this year's Disney Infinity Toy Box Summit.
#4 – All-new multiplayer Toy Box Expansion Games will allow you to play with all of your Disney, Disney•Pixar, MARVEL, and Star Wars characters from Disney Infinity 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0 together.
Toy Box Expansion Games Toy Box Takeover (action-adventure) and Toy Box Speedway (kart racing) will bring all-new, structured multiplayer gameplay to Toy Box 3.0. Eg: You and your friend might be racing on the same track world, but you both might end up on different layers of the track, so it brings different experiences everytime u race. :)
#5 – Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition Starter Pack will be on sales for a lower suggested retail price of SGD99.99.
In direct response to your feedback, the Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition Starter Pack will now sell for a lower suggested retail price of $99.90.
The Starter Pack includes the Twilight of the Republic Play Set, Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano Figures, and the new Toy Box 3.0. In addition to that, 3.0 Power Discs will come in labeled packs instead of blind packs.
So, you've heard the movie Ghostbusters is getting a reboot version with a crossover acting, where the ghost busting is done by the females - Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon & Leslie Jones together the all mighty Thor - Chris Hemsworth, will be taking a back seat from all the crime fighting, as he takes over the role of the receptionists - Janine.
This movie holds a special place in my heart because the original movie was made in 1984, the year I was born and till today we still have the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man figurine at home! Before we can see what these ghosts will look like, (hope they dun spoil Slimer with over the top 3D effects), the director of the reboot movie - Paul Feig has been teasing us with some pictures of the costumes...
Seems like he has kept the original feel and I'm super glad the uniforms were not some cleavage revealing pieces. So, what do think of it? You like them?
