[Tried & Tested] Putting on PAPERSELF Lashes

Eversince I learned about PAPERSELF, I never stop lusting over it. Paper Lashes is simply too appealing and imagine my excitement when I was told by PAPERSELF, they would be sending a pair over for me to put on and review about them!

"So, which pair would I be getting?" This was the only question I had for the week, whilst waiting for my surprise to arrive...

Can you guess which designed I got?

I received the Deer and Butterfly pair!

With intricate designs and packaging, I really couldn't bear to take them out of the box! I was contemplating when to wear them and finally, I decided to wear them for clubbing!

I would say this was one of my favourite from their many designs. The butterflies were so flirtatious at the end of the lashes! However, I find it was a pity that the deer was not very visible. But nonetheless, I still liked the effect it has on my lashes and it was not that exaggerating as I thought it would be! It's like any false lashes, with lash glue and a tweezer, you can wear the lashes easily within minutes!

Gorgeous! I love how all the attention is at the eyes!

Although the lashes looks good with any colour eyeshadow, I still think nude colours are best for the lashes to fully stand out and let the designs be obvious. Even though it was said for one time use only, you could simply cut the lashes into parts for different placements along the eyes and the pair I wore, was taken off with much care and I actually managed to wear it the second time before throwing the pair of lashes away!

I would highly recommend these lashes for parties and events and especially for this festive season! Head on over to any Topshop or Sephora stores to get yourself some amazing lashes!

‘The Lace Garden’ is the theme of the very first exclusive collaboration between PAPERSELF and
the Victoria & Albert Museum. The Lace Collection launched in early September in the store and
online. Given the brief of LACE by the V&A, the PAPERSELF team was inspired by French silk bobbin lace from the nineteenth century. The diverse and delicate floral patterns brought the theme of
floral gardens to the PAPERSELF team’s imagination. With the refined lace patterns, exquisitely cut
details and tactile structure, Lace Garden is a wonderful combination of vintage and
contemporary design.

Remember my Giveaway and Blog Post on the Real Life Escape Game? Well, today I played it first thing this morning and experienced it first hand before it is open to the public.

Nope, this is definitely not a spoiler or a walkthrough. This game must be experienced and played when you are there. It's not fun at all if you already know the answers right? Where's the challenge?!

Host getting us ready for the game and explaining the rules and regulations to us.

I've always been a lover of Escape games and played tons of flash games on escaping the rooms. And this time round, it is an escape from the whole village! (That's a challenge I'm totally in love with!) The whole experience was very fun, you have to be alert, sharp and focus as the clue might just be right under you nose!

Would you be able to solve the puzzles and unlock the ultimate secret?!

Another thing is definitely team effort! Not only is this a game, this is also a great time to make new friends, as well as the bond friendships and relationships tighter. I made friends with my team today and everyone was so spontaneous and offered to help solve the puzzles. My team was very close to solving the puzzles, and tell you the truth, I was kinda disappointed when I knew we were actually super close to escaping the village. So I must say, TIME is very important. Make sure you work fast too!

Well, here are some rules and regulations to get you started for the game over this weekend. May the Odds be Ever in Your Favour.

This is a game where you will be locked in a room, and you will have to use your detective's mind and powers of deduction to make your escape.
Gather items, find codes and solve puzzles to escape the room (village).
You will be teamed up with other players. Strategize and cooperate - more heads are definitely better than one.
You might find tourself running out of time to escape. However, failure to escape is nothing to be embarrassed about. The riddles are really quite tough.
Do not worry if you unable to escape within the time limit. We will still allow you to leave. (Keeping you in the room against your will is against the law).
Detective styled clothes might help to sharpen your mind. Wear comfortable clothes but refrain from wearing heels.
If you want some training before the actual game. Google for "Escape Game". There are many online Escape Games you can try and practice on.
Please do not spoil the fun for other participants by telling them the puzzles or solutions. That kills the fun.
The prize you will receive is that priceless moment when you and your team finally find the solution to escape and everything falls into place.

So come on down to *SCAPE Warehouse this weekend with your friends and family, meet new friends and try out the latest live game phenomenon from Japan!

Each game session runs for about 90 minutes, including 60 minutes of game play and time for debriefing.
