A Hair Pampering Session at KEOLLEOBAR

I've neglected my hair since the pandemic and it has come to a stage where it's dry and tangled, making me look so tired and weary. So, I decided it was time to change and headed over to KEOLLEOBAR at Bugis Cube.

Bugis Cube is right opposite Bugis Junction along North Bridge Road and at the end of level 2 is KEOLLEOBAR and KEOLLEOGLAM - The beauty arm under the KEOLLEOBAR. They were a little busy that day, so I was ushered to their salon on level 3 instead. 

My hair was looking so dead and dry...

My hairstylist was Kito and he "checked out" my hair condition before consulting on what to do with it. Due to psoriasis, I had a dry yet oily scalp and also flaky skin, which he explained and showed me through the skin analyzer machine. 

Such an embarrassing sight...

So, Kito advised a scalp treatment and a wash & cut. I left my hair in his hands whilst I took the time to finish up some emails. First, he applied the serum along my scalp, it was minty and chilling, which calms my itchy scalp, feels like having a freezer on my head. Then, we capped it with a steamer to let the serum do its work.

Next up, was a wash off with a minty anti-itch shampoo and back to my seat with a hair mask session. Our face needs its skincare and pampering, actually, so does our hair. It was so easy and relaxing to let my hair scalp get back its nutrition, no thanks to Covid, I disappointed my hair... 😂

Lastly, it was time for my hair cut. All the tangled ends were snipped off and I finally got the curtain bangs that I've been wanting.  There were so many Tik Tok on DIY curtain bangs gone wrong, that's why I left it to the hands of the professionals...

Tadah! my scalp looks so clean and hydrated right? Check out the final result... I'm definitely going back for another hair treatment and maybe I should add some colours next?

[What's New] Another Hair Pampering Session At Monsoon Hair Salon

Hi Huneybees,

My hair was getting a little too long and so I headed over to Monsoon @ Novena Square to get it trimmed down, and also to give my hair some pampering attention. Our hair can react differently to our moods and just like our skin, the more stressed out we are, the easier it is for our hair to lose its lustre.

Thank god for Monsoon, I was given a new red hair "update" and a treatment session for me.  It's always a joy to be sitting there and getting my hair tended to by Jack and Joanne. However, this time is is just Jack, as Joanne had fractured her arm and was on medical leave to recuperate.

After a round of hair dying and sitting under the "UFO" to get my hair steamed with hair treatment to let the seep right into the pores and get right into the roots of the hair. See my before and after photo, you will definitely be wanting to make an appointment too. =)

Here's signing off with more of my new hair updates , it was definitely the right choice to have cut off my hair. It's just right for the warm, warm weather in Singapore and I just couldn't resist doing a "Justin Bieber" hair flick.

Should I try an even shorter hair cut?
