Well, it's official! As of 8th March, the organisers of Future Music Festival Asia 2015 are saddened to announce that the festival which was scheduled to be held this Friday and Saturday, March 13 & 14, at the Changi Exhibition Centre in Singapore IS CANCELLED!
Full ticket refunds will be made to all FMFA 2015 ticket buyers and reimbursement of refunds will begin in batches starting from today - Tuesday, 10 March 2015. The refund process is expected to take between 30 – 45 days to complete.
No submission from ticket purchasers will be required as the refund process is automated. Please refer to the below on refund processes:
For all SISTIC and Galactix ticket buyers who have purchased tickets via a credit or debit card, refunds will be credited directly into your respective accounts. This includes refunds for car park passes purchased. Reimbursements of your refund are expected to take at maximum 30 – 45 days. (If the tickets were purchased using a local Singaporean credit or debit card, you can expect to receive refunds within 7 – 14 days).
Refunds for SISTIC tickets purchased via cash or eNETS will also be refunded within a one-month period. Collection of refunds can be made at the SISTIC Headquarters (10 Eunos Road 8, #03-04, Singapore Post Centre, Singapore 408600). A subsequent official announcement will be made when refunds are ready to be collected.
For those who have preloaded credits onto your wristband, refunds will also be credited directlyback into your credit or debit card account within 30 – 45 days.
Ticket refunds will also be made payable to all ticket buyers who have purchased packages via an FMFA authorized travel agent. We have instructed the travel agents to refund you directly within 30 - 45 days.

Guess it's sadness now that they appeal to have Future Music Festival Asia 2015 (FMFA15) here in Singapore was unsuccessful. My hopes of seeing and hearing The Prodigy and AVICII Live is shattered! Why?! Why?! Why do drugs when you can enjoy music and dance the night away?! Because of all these bad past, Singapore has been denied to having a blast?! I was still hoping that the party would still be allowed. Well, now we can only see what other alternatives Lifescape Singapore has installed for us... Here's the statement I was sent regarding the non-issuance of permit for Future Music Festival Asia 2015:
We are extremely disappointed that our appeal to the Ministry of Home Affairs to organise Future Music Festival Asia 2015 (FMFA15) in Singapore has been unsuccessful. We can confirm that we have received the official rejection of our appeal.
FMFA firmly stands behind our goal of creating a drug-free event for our festival goers to enjoy. Despite having put in place a robust event, security, safety and medical management plan which has been developed alongside both local and international experts with a combined 50 years of experience in running similar large-scale events, our Public Entertainment License has not been granted. The plans that have been developed far exceeds international standards.
We emphasise that the safety and security of our festival goers are of utmost importance and will continue to be our number one priority. Regarding concerns the authorities may have about the drug-related incidents that took place in Malaysia last year, we reiterate that these were isolated incidents that took place outside Singapore, which cannot and do not carry any implication that FMFA is linked to drug use or drug abuse.
In light of this development, we are assessing all options and formulating our next course of action. Full details of this will be made available over the next few days.
To the fans there are no words in this world that can describe our eternal gratitude to you. We called, and you answered. Your response to #KeepFMFAAlive has brought tears to all of us at FMFA. We are humbled, and we are grateful.

We will be catching awesome acts like The Prodigy, AVICII, Fatboy Slim, Afrojack, Robin Schulz together with local acts like The Lion City Boy, DJ Andrew T, etc...
MOBILE APP...
First thing to do, download the FMFA15
Mobile App via Google Play or the iTunes Store as you will be able to get the band set
times and personalise your schedule and get notified when your favourite acts are about to go on stage directly from the comfort of your smart phones together with the festival map and share all the awesome photos with the crowd!
TRANSPORTATION... If you are unfamiliar with the Changi are, you can opt for the Shuttle Bus service or simply use GRABTAXI to get to the festival with ease.
FMFA15
has teamed up with GrabTaxi to offer you with special discounted
fares to and from the Changi Exhibition Centre. Use the promo code
“FMFA15” when booking your ride via the GrabTaxi mobile app or
website.
Alternatively,
hop on one of the many FMFA15 shuttle buses that are priced at SGD5
(one-way) and SGD10 (return) per person. If you’re heading to
FMFA15, the pick up point is at the Car Park of the Kallang Leisure
Park. When leaving the Changi Exhibition Centre, shuttle buses will drop you off at the
following locations:

Parking is priced at SGD48 (excluding a SGD4 ticketing charge fee)
for two-days and can be purchased in advanced via the link above.
Parking spaces are limited and passes are sold on a first come first
serve basis. Do take note of it!
WRISTBAND WALLET...
Don't even worry about money, coz after going through security, you will be tagged with a RFID wristband. Besides controlling access, your wristbands can also be topped up with cash and used to purchase drinks at the bar. Simply place your order, tap your wristband against the reader, and you’re done.
Topping up the wristband credits can be easily done using cash or even your credit card! This can be done at various Top-Up Stations around the festival site. But for greater convenience, you can also pre top-up your wristbands today even before the festival begins via http://topup.gorillatix.asia. Pre top-ups are only available from now till 9 March 2015.
*If you are a Weekend (2-day) Pass holder, you will only be tagged with one wristband on Day 1 and you will have to keep the same wristband on for Day 2.
WHAT TO DO AT THE FESTIVAL...
The
Bag Drop Counter:
Located just before the main entry gates, you can drop off bulky
items, bags, etc. for just SGD3 per item. Didn’t read the list of
prohibited items and brought a selfie stick? No worries, just store
it at the Bag Drop Counter.
The
Food Village: Sample
the best of Singapore at the FMFA15 Food Village featuring over 15
stalls serving a variety of food from Mexican burritos and nachos,
pastas, sandwiches, kebabs, fish and chips, burgers, sushi and

Carnival Zone:
Get on rides like the Ghost Train, Meteorite, Bumper Car and
Carousel. At FMFA15, music isn’t just all you get.
The
Merchandise Booth:
Take home something from the FMFA15 merchandise store to remind you
of the epic time you had at FMFA15. Merchandises that will be
available for sale include official festival t-shirts, emoji-themed
masks, sunnies and a range of other official artistes’ merchandise.
No RE-ETNRY:
As part of its security procedure, FMFA15 implements a strict no re-entry policy. This means if you leave the festival grounds early, you will not be allowed back in. You will only be allowed back into the festival grounds the following day.
BE
A VIP BALLER...
For
those looking to take their party experience to a different level,
they could literally do so with the VVIP Private Cabanas going at
SGD15,000 each for two-days. These elevated cabanas apart from
providing an aerial view of the festival grounds and a fantastic view
of the Supernova stage comes with a 25 square meters. private area,
access to the cabana for 15 people, private bars, private toilets and
8 bottles of liquor with mixers and 4 bottles of champagne.
In
addition, there will also be a VIP Lounge – The First Class Arena –
which features an elevated terrace and lounge that overseas the
Supernova and Future Live stages. VIP tickets are priced at SGD388.
This VIP Lounge will act as a club within the festival and is
indoors, air-conditioned, and also includes its own private toilets.
Also there will be a variety of exclusive services in the VIP Lounge
such as bottle service, and shoulder massages. Table reservations
start from SGD1,000 for two-days, and includes VIP passes and a

Future Music Festival Asia 2015 will be held at the 140,000 sq. metre Changi Exhibition Centrein Singapore on 13 & 14 March 2015. Tickets to FMFA 2015 are available for purchase via www.futuremusicfestival.asia and are available in three categories: Single Day – Day 1 Only (SGD178), Weekend - Two-Day Pass (SGD228), and VIP (SGD388). Tickets are also available for walk-in purchase at all SISTIC outlets in Singapore. Future Music Festival Asia 2015 is opened to guests aged 18-years and older only.
