[What's New] M.A.C Cosmetics Launches Brooke Candy Collection Tomorrow

Hi Huneybees,

Friday's are for waking up early for it's a lead up to the weekends and there's tons of happenings around town. For tomorrow, M.A.C is launching a few exciting collections - M.A.C Prep + Prime Highlighter Shade Extensions, M.A.C All The Right Angles and M.A.C Brooke Candy (which I am super stoked for)!

At the M.A.C F/W'16 preview session, I got to swatch and try out the products and here's the lowdown. Starting with the M.A.C Prep + Prime Highlighter Shade Extensions collection that will add on to the permanent line of their pen-style highlighters.

These highlighters were previously celebrated as concealers, highlighting, adding radiance,  touch-ups or under makeup to brighten and prime. So, coming tomorrow, they come in 5 more shades now to match different skin tones. Here's 4 shades that I tried...

I've been using the highlighter to brighten my skin where ever I need it and the buildable, soft formula is very easy to work with, to get that perfect glow.

Next is the M.A.C All The Right Angles Collection. 4 portable palettes shades from light to dark, each combining 3 M.A.C's popular sculpting products - velvety Cream Colour Base, and Sculpting and Shaping Powders to highlight, sculpt and contour your way to impeccably chiseled features.

For best results, you can contour away with their new 164 Duo Fibre Curved Sculpting Brush, featuring a slightly curved, angled shape that naturally hugs the angles of your face for effortless highlighting and contouring. Go try them out in stores tomorrow and here's the swatches...

Last collection and also the one I die-die-must-get is the M.A.C Brooke Candy collection. A collection that collaborates with American rapper and digital sensation can only be about bold, strong and feisty colours for everyone to stand out like Brooke herself.

Brooke Candy Bronzing Powder (Golden – muted golden-tan beige with shimmer)

Uniting the present and future, yin and yang of her creative spirit, the collection features shades for eyes, lips and nails that can be grouped in these 2 ways.

[What's New] Swatching The M.A.C Cosmetics Mineralize Skinfinish Pinwheels Pans

Hi Huneybees,

M.A.C Cosmetics is definitely making my pockets bleed this month with their amazing collection launches and one that I am looking out for this weekend is their Mineralize Skinfinish Collection. With strobing and face contouring being the 'IN' thing now, these pinwheel pans are a must-have in all our cosmetic bags.

Introducing Mineralize Skinfinish in five limited-edition shade waves from Faintly Fabulous to Sunny Side and Perfectly Lit. Baked together in a single pan, each palette features four complementary shades in a pinwheel design that can be applied alone or swirled together for a healthy glow. For a delicate, lasting finish, apply with the 137 Brush or the 133 Brush for each shade individually. Go on – give it a swirl.
Be it for highlighting or contouring the face or giving your cheeks a little blush, these 5 pinwheel pans will be good to have, especially for the light travellers. The colour payoff is really good with a simple swipe and every skin tone beauty, will be able to find one for themselves. Here's my swatch of the colours...

[Tried & Tested] Show Off Those Sharp Features With Too Faced Cocoa Contour

Hi Huneybees,

With the nude trend going strong all year round, you can't simply focus on nude and wash out your face! This is the best time to focus on showing off those sharp features and if you don't know why the hassle, let me show you why you should.

Comparison under sunlight
Comparing both sides of my face, which side do you think my features pop and look slimmer? Yup! The right side definitely looks more defined and I can guarantee that your selfies will gain more likes without the help of botox or fillers! :)

Comparison under flashlight

Yup, say hi to Too Faced Cocoa Contour face kit! There are 4 shades - Light Cocoa. Medium Cocoa, Dark Cocoa and Pop Of Light. No, you won't turn into chocolate, but following the the steps provided in the kit, you will definitely be ready to walk down the Hollywood red carpet.

I've already shown you the difference and well, with the Contour Buki Brush attached, you can easily create the contour looks with just this kit. Here are the swatches of the shades and you have to head on down to Sephora early, coz the kits are running out fast at the ION branch.
