From the shift in light from golden to dusk as autumn slips into winter, to the occasional burst of colour amongst a sea of evergreens and to the instantly recognizable scent of Christmas fruits and spices, Crabtree & Evelyn's festive collection offers a magical feast for the senses.
The moment I step into the store, I was welcomed by the fragrance of the green packaged - Winter Garden candles. From the Home Fragrance section comes 2 festive fragrance. One is the recognized across the globe as Crabtree & Evelyn's signature Christmas fragrance, Noël and the all new Winter Garden.
Noël is a heady blend of fresh balsams, cranberry, apple and citrus complemented by spicy star anise, clove and nutmeg, instantly evoking the spirit and smells of holiday festivity throguhout the home.
The new collection - Winter Garden is an original interpretation of traditional 'holiday greens' featuring a gentle blend of frosted fresh-picked myrtle, magnolia leaves and fleshy green stems of amaryllis complemented by fruits including apricots, green apples and candied citruses. It reminds me the Christmas tree and kissing under the mistletoe... *blush*
Another part of my favourite from the Christmas collection are the Personal Care products. Inspired by the setting sun on a glittering winter afternoon, Crabtree & Evelyn has drawn on its rich botanical apothecary and heritage to introduce 2 new limited edition collections - Golden Fig and Golden Petals. They are formulated to pamper and indulge your skin, leaving a glittering scent when applied.
I'm more of a fan of the Golden Petals. It's more flowery... I think the Shimmering Body Mist is a must get, not only does it leave a fragrance, your body will have have a glittering shine. SO EDWARD CULLEN!!! @.@|||
Another must-get is the Shimmer Lip Gloss. Coming in 3 shades - Champagne Frost, Pink Glace and Red Sparkle. I got the Pink Glace for myself as it gives me usual nude shade lipstick a little gradient and plump my lips up. Each lip gloss has a Christmas-y fragrance like nutmeg etc...
