Celebrate Christmas With Délifrance

Are you looking to order some yummy treats to share with your friends and families this Christmas? Délifrance has a range of sweet and savoury delights, from macaron towers to scrumptious ham and turkey roasted to perfection!



Your Queen Bee here has tested some of them out and here's my recommendation!

Honey Glazed Ham
For main dishes, there are a selection of Honey Glazed Ham, Roast Lamb, Beef and Turkey. For me, I'm in love with the Ham and Beef. Both tasted so sweet and cooked to the right tenderness, and when having the meat with their dips, it's like Christmas already!

And then comes the all time favourite - Desserts! Cakes are not to be missed and you will find all the cakes so colourful and sweet. I simply can't choose and I want to have them all!

Enchanted Macaron Tower
This itself alreadys serves as a centerpiece, a party subject and with a creation of chocolate, praline, mixed berries Valrhona Ivoire-filled cassis macarons, everyone will just have sweet little chats whole night through...

Joy of Délifrance
This classic log cake puts a merry smile on everyone's face with it's pillowy chocolate sponge, layered with Valrhona Fine French Chocolate. 
Silent Night
If you are a fan of dark chocolate, this is not to be missed. Ttuck into tantalising layers of chocolate sponge and decadent Valrhona Fine French Chocolate, finished with a smooth ganache, I bet you will be asking for more slices...
Yuletide Log
This Belgian chocolate creation comes in Regular and Large Sizes. Boasting of a rich core of dark chocolate mousse decked in chocolate shavings for a festive flourish. This is the ever so classic log cake that will never go wrong for your Christmas party!

Delifrance Introduces Delicious New Chef Classique De Creations

In line with the revamp of its cafes islandwide, Délifrance has also freshened up its menu offerings to reflect the new dining experience with the introduction of four new Chef Classique de Créations.
Hot on the heels of the new signature sandwiches from France which was launched last August, the new Chef Classique de Créations consists of the Magret De Canard Fumé – a smoked duck dish, the succulent Provençal Braisé Lamb Shank and two versions of the classic Aglio Olio pasta dish – Scallops & Caviar Aglio e Olio and Sausages Aglio e Olio.
“Délifrance has recently undergone a revamp of our cafes to better reflect our French heritage and origins.In line with the new contemporary look, we have introduced a range of new signature sandwiches by French chef Matthieu Allonneau. Now we have rolled out a new hot meals menu, which reintroduces old favourites like the smoked duck and lamb shank, along with two new pasta dishes created by our chefs. We hope that the new menu will appeal to Singaporeans’ taste buds.” --- Carol Tan, Délifrance’s Senior Sales & Operations Manager

Magret De Canard Fumé – $19.80
This specialty dish can satisfy your appetite for French cuisine. It starts with a tender juicy smoked duck breast fillets that can brighten up a meal. It is accompanied by potato gratin and sweet & sour braised red cabbage salad.

Provençal Braisé Lamb Shank – $23.80
Experience the stimulating cuisine of Provence, one of France’s Mediterranean regions. This main course is slowly simmered with onions, carrots, celery, potatoes, rosemary and Provençal herbs for sixteen-hours to produce incredibly flavorful, succulent, forktender meat. The combination of herbs offsets the rich flavor ofthe lamb, which will definitely thrill your taste buds. This dish is served with a quarter baguette to complete the meal.


Scallops & Caviar Aglio e Olio – $19.80
If you want a meal with flair, then this spaghetti dish is certainly a must try. This pasta delight is tossed with minced garlic and chili padi, served with succulent Hokkaido scallops for a delicately mild sweet flavour. To add a final touch of opulence to this elegant dish, it is topped off with a dollop of luxurious caviar.


Sausages Aglio e Olio – $14.80
Délifrance’s take on this classic pasta dish sees the spaghetti tossed with minced garlic & olive oil to create a timeless and great tasting pasta that is served with black pepper chicken sausages and drizzled with balsamic sauce.

[Contest] Say “Je t’aime maman” With Délifrance’s Delectable Mother’s Day Cakes

Délifrance sure did an interesting job leading up to Mother's Day to launch their delightful Délifrance cake designed specially for the most important woman in our life - Mummy Dearest!

For a change, Daddy bloggers were invited to Délifrance at ARC (Alexandra Retail Centre) to spend a day with their kids to make a gift for Mummy, letting Mummy get a day off whilst they prepare a little gift for her.


But first things first, let me introduce the 4 specially created cakes for Mother's Day. "Gift Of Love", "Garden Of Love" as well as the "Blossom of Love" that comes in 2 flavours.


"Blossom Of Love" is a surprising flower pot cake. For a change, you ca give mummy an eatable flower that does not wilt! This unique creation is made with love and comes with a choice of vanilla cake with zesty lemon filling or chocolate cake with rich chocolate and Philadelphia cream cheese.


"Garden Of Love" (shown left above) is a refreshing vanilla mango yoghurt mousse cake that is fluffy, smooth and creamy. It is coated with white chocolate and decked in bright chocolate sunflowers that will definitely bring a smile to your mummy's face. The dainty butterfly perched atop the cake symbolizes a mother's gentle and beautiful nature.

"Gift Of Love" (shown right above) is definitely for the chocolate loving mummies out there. Shaped like a present with a big chocolate ribbon on top, I bet mummy will love the present you got her. Made with rich chocolate cake, it is oozing with hazelnut praline, Belgium chocolate mousse and drenched in velvety chocolate ganache. Lined with red petite French macarons like the bright red roses, Mummy dearest would be jumping with joy when she tastes this cake.

So on media launch day, Daddies were to make miniature replicas of the cakes, that can hold special notes for Mummies when they get home. 


Actually, ended up Daddies did most of the work, but seeing those kids, maybe it was time for me to have mine too?


At first, I got hubby to join in the fun, but seriously the creative side of me just got control and I also went ahead to go mine...

This was what we did. We had to put it in the Delifrance cup to prevent it from going out of shape before it dries up.

All mothers deserve nothing but the best, so show her how much she is appreciated and surprise her with a scrumptious Délifrance cake this Mother's Day.









Délifrance’s Mother’s Day cakes w ill be available at all Délifrance bakery cafes islandwide (except bake-off at Siglap Centre, Coronation Plaza and Chancery Court) from 19 April 2013 onwards. Two working days advance ordering shall be required for “Gift of Love” and “Garden of Love”. Last day of ordering shall be 9 May 2013.
