Huney'Z World: Central Park Zoo

Hi Huneybees,

Yipee! It's official! Our favourite characters from Madagascar have landed safely in Singapore's Mastercard Theatres at Marina Bay Sands! Huney'Z World was there for a quick preview on what's to come and I got the opportunity to 'Move it, Move it' with these lovely friends!

This is the first time Madagascar LIVE! will be using projections on the stage to bring us from scene to scene and in between sets. And Yes! Singapore audiences will be the first in world to experience it before everybody else!

Here's a video performed by Alex the lion, Marty the zebra and the loveable Penguins to 2 of the showtunes.

While we only caught a glimpse of the actual performance and were told that other characters were still trying to settle down and getting used to the Singapore's weather, I bet the Madagascar LIVE! will certainly entertain audiences of all ages and make a good entry introduction to theatre shows for the kids.

Popping right out of your movie screens, your favourite Madagascar friends are here LIVE before your eyes as they ‘Move It, Move It’ in April this year as part of the ‘Madagascar Live!’ theatrical show based on the blockbuster Dreamworks Animation franchise.

Reliving the fun and humour of the animals and their escapades the show promises all-out entertainment for families from 21 April at the MasterCard Theatres, Marina Bay Sands, audiences of all ages will love the wild and action-packed adventure as Alex the lion, Melman the giraffe, Marty the zebra, Gloria the hippo and the plotting penguins as they escape from their home at New York’s Central Park Zoo and find themselves on an exciting unexpected journey to the madcap world of King Julien’s Madagascar.

The superb family entertainment show is brilliantly recreated in a stage production of lively storytelling, dance and music, and is set to mesmerise fans who can also look forward to tapping their feet to the super hit soundtrack ‘I Like to Move It, Move It’.

A fun-filled celebration of friendship and good times, the show is set to be a vivid showcase of imaginative sets and costumes, peppy dance numbers and spectacular new songs that will keep the audiences entertained from the beginning until the end.
