[What's New] Swatching The M.A.C Cosmetics Mineralize Skinfinish Pinwheels Pans

M.A.C Cosmetics is definitely making my pockets bleed this month with their amazing collection launches and one that I am looking out for this weekend is their Mineralize Skinfinish Collection. With strobing and face contouring being the 'IN' thing now, these pinwheel pans are a must-have in all our cosmetic bags.

Introducing Mineralize Skinfinish in five limited-edition shade waves from Faintly Fabulous to Sunny Side and Perfectly Lit. Baked together in a single pan, each palette features four complementary shades in a pinwheel design that can be applied alone or swirled together for a healthy glow. For a delicate, lasting finish, apply with the 137 Brush or the 133 Brush for each shade individually. Go on – give it a swirl.

Be it for highlighting or contouring the face or giving your cheeks a little blush, these 5 pinwheel pans will be good to have, especially for the light travellers. The colour payoff is really good with a simple swipe and every skin tone beauty, will be able to find one for themselves. Here's my swatch of the colours...

[What's New] Can't Wait For The Etude House Play 101 Pencil

As a kid, colour pencils are my best friends. I would make everything I draw come to life with colours and till today, they are my companions in my bag. What Etude House recently launched, would definitely let me renew that childhood feeling again by "painting" on my face! 

Under there Play series, you can find tons of nail polishes to create millions of nail art and now the Etude House Play 101 pencils in 50 different colors works wonders just like the nail polishes. They may look like eyeliner pencils for you, but in fact, they are plentiful of ways you can use them!

The Etude House Play 101 Pencil (0.5 g, 6,000 won) can be used as a concealer, highlighter, blush, eyebrow pencil, eyeshadow, eyeliner, lip liner, and lipstick. You might even be able to create an unique, new lipstick color by mixing three different colors with each other. It is like an artist's colour palette and your face is the canvas!

There are 5 kinds of pencils (see color of the words behind the number of the pencil):

• Shimmering (pink)

[What's New] Benefit Instant Beauty

I was recently at the Style x Benefit Workshop and picked up a few tips about their products and was introduced to their latest kits - Complexion Kit / Lip and Cheek Kit.

Here are the range of Benefit products...

Our homegrown makeup guru - Larry Yeo demonstrated that day and he began moisturizing and preparing the model's skin with Benefit's b.right! Radiant Skincare.

Yasminne Cheng was the host for the night.

In fact, after using them, the model's skin looked clean and refreshed, she could actually head out like that with some sunscreen.

Ok, now onto makeup.

First, minimize pores with POREfessional.

Then, with Benetint, give your cheeks the natural red glow and lips too!

After applying Hello Flawless foundation, conceal the problem ares with Erase Paste and Boi-ing of your shade.

Lip Balm. Lip Gloss and Mascara. Voila!

Nice right? The model looked so young and refresh, totally suitable for a every day look. So here's a little introduction to their kits, so that everyone can try out and get instant beauty!

First up, Complexion Kit.

I received the Light version.

Inside are the products alongside a mirror and instructions of step-by-step usage of each product.

In the kit, there's POREfessional, a small bottle of HELLO FLAWLESS that matches my skin colour, 2 shades of boi-ing to mix or use alone for concealing and lastly a face powder and a brush to set the face. 

Following the steps and with some basic skills, you can achieve flawless looking skin in just 4 simple steps!

And for the makeup portion, for natural rosy cheeks and some shades of colour, there is the Lip and Cheek Kit.

I got the Sugarlicious Kit that go deliciously nude... sweet & soft shades for a fresh, natural-looking glow!

Yes, in there are not only the products, there's also a vanity mirror and step-by-step tips and tricks. There's Benetint, a rose tinted lip and cheek stain, High Beam for highlighting the high points of the face for a 3D look, Sugarbomb - a quadrant coloured blusher for the sugar rush flush and also Sugarbomb a shimmery light pink lip gloss.

That's me after using both kits with the added eye colour, eyeliner and mascara. I love how my skin looked like porcelain!
