Orchard Gateway is now open and new stores are popping up everyday. This new mall is wedged between 313@Somerset and Orchard Central, linking all 3 malls for a "bigger" shopping experience, whilst hiding from the scorching sun and heavy pouring rain.

And in between all the Audi Fashion Festival hassle, I was down at rosebullet for their grand opening at Orchard Gateway. All thanks to Beauty Direct for the invitation, as their products are now available in the store. 

At the opening, not only were there special promotions, the beauty brand - Chacott under Beauty Direct also had a makeup demonstration alongside the special appearance of celebrity bloggers - Bong Qiu Qiu, Miyake and Yutaki, who were always dressed in Japan fashion style. I managed to capture a few pictures of them, before they got "grabbed" by their fans...

Anyway, back to Beauty Direct, you can find all things you need for your beauty needs right here. From makeup, to fragrance, to lotions, you are covered!

And to match the theme of the store, the model was given a sweet, pastel look, to go with her soft blue and white outfit. First, her eyebrows were lightly drawn for the natural brow look, then after a light brush of face powder, blue and white eyeshadows were applied to brighten up her eyes.

With Star Lash false lashes, her eyes looked so much more "awaken" and bigger and with the secret trick of white-lining the lower water line, the model had that innocent, sweet girl look.

After a light sweep of blusher and dap of lipstick, a bow scarf was tied to her hair and don't you think she looked lovely?

 So, if you are a fan of the Shibuya Japanese fashion and love to wear floral prints, fur and pastel colours, just like Lena Fujii, be sure to drop by rosebullet! At the Orchard Gateway branch, you can even find brands like LOVEBOAT and LDS too! Psst, the LDS x AMO Collection is to die for!

[What's New] BeautyAsia 2013

BeautyAsia, the region's most established one-stop show for the beauty, spa and health industry was back for its 17th appearance at its new location - Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Center. I grabbed alot of goodies this year and here's a video of my hauls...

Hold your horses. The details to the giveaway will be below, but allow me to share some of the highlights of BeautyAsia 2013 with you...

This is the world's first infrared smart sauna for homes. The pre-set programs are for weight loss, cardio, detox, pain relief, skin health and relaxation. Its biofeed monitor is programmed to wirelessly measure and send heart rate and calories burned readings into the touchscreen LCD interface inside the sauna. Imagine going home for sauna, not having to pay a sum for a hefty spa package!

At Beauty Direct, there is the famous local brand - Starlash and these are some of the dramatic lashes that they have. But the main highlight of the booth is also the organic O'Nine Pure Gel nail polish. Unlike conventional gel polish, this contains all natural organic ingredients, solvent free, odourless and non-flammable.

With 120 colours to choose from, you are spoilt for choices!

This product below is called the Lip Painter by Shizens. It is a dual function lip treatment with a red colour applicator on one end and a white one on the other.

The white end is a colourless lip tint that lightens dark pigmented lips and turns them into natural rosy tones within seconds and it lasts through meals for the day till you remove your makeup! and as for the red end, it is a lip gloss that gives a firming and plumping effect to lips when applied. Shizens can be found in Marina Square.

The lip tint is also sold seperately.

Their other miracle product would be the mascara. With 2 bottles of interesting ingredients, you can achieve lashes as though you are wearing falsies. You just have to patient when using the mascara as you have to build layers after layers. But after the heavy steps, the amazing way to remove is just by warm water!

The Denman hair brushes brought in by SuperBerry (Orchard Central) allows you to say goodbye to bad hair days with these scented brushes, leaving your hair frizzy free and smelling fresh and fruity. There are 5 fruity scents to choose from and my Favorited is the Lemon Sherbet.

NIKS Cover Cream does not only conceal your usual blemishes, it covers up tattoos and scars as well.

One of the highlights would be the much raved about Hakuhodo brushes that's hand made and extremely soft! The brushes are made from a variety of animal hairs (white goat, weasel, squirrel, water badger, etc), but it was a pity they were at there looking for distributors and not selling them. Can't wait for them to be available in Singapore...

Last but not least, more nail arts and products to share with you. There were tons of booths providing the manicure service and selling nail products. That simply took me on full day to cover. LOL!
